We had never been here before so thought we would check it out. We were out on a Friday night. It's in the Fairmont Pacific Rim (a very upscale hotel in case you don't know) and kind of tucked in the back. The place is extremely high end, and would have everything you would want unless you're looking for an energetic atmosphere. I would compare the service, food quality and price points/value to that of which you'd find at Harksworth restaurant. The atmosphere however is far more intimate. The Pacific Rim has an excellent Lobby Lounge which is extremely busy and vibrant, but this doesn't extend back to the restaurant which was quiet and not particularly busy. At any rate, we went an hour early and had some drinks in the lobby lounge then headed up to the restaurant for what was an incredible meal. The wine list was extensive and the server was familiar with it and was able to offer good pairings at various price levels. All in all it was a great night and we would definitely recommend giving it a try. We probably won't go back any time soon but only because we tend to like louder more energetic atmospheres. End of the day, food and service was absolutely first class. Definitely left with a much lighter wallet but did so feeling the money was very well spent. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Vancouver's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
We have a small business and treated our employees to a night out. I picked Ciopinno's just from the reviews and it didn't disappoint . The service was great and very efficient with out being noticeable which makes the whole evening run smoothly. The food was excellent and the wine list outstanding. The menu has a good variety and everyone enjoyed their meals. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was amazing. We will absolutely be returning for another notable evening. MoreOpenTable Diner -
