I took my mom to the Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. It was awful. It seemed as if the staff had run to Costco and bought pre-made baked goods and frozen items. I decided to try the made to order eggs Benedict with crab. It was a stale English muffin, crab from a can, and tiny little nubs of asparagus that in total would only add up to 1/4 of a stalk. It was inedible. I then decided to order an omelet as I had still only eaten a handful of blueberries and had two mimosas (which they used Cook’s sparkling wine to make). The omelet took an hour and consisted of one egg with raw veggies inside. It was a complete waste of money and I was beyond embarrassed that this was the meal I had given my mom for her special day.
The food was your typical $30 buffet, almost everything was delicious and well prepared. The only food that was "meh" was the salmon, it lost a lot of its juices and flavor by sitting under the warming light. Service was extremely busy but our server was able to keep up with us fairly well.
Very fun place to spend the evening. We found this place a few years ago while we lived near. We now drive about 55 miles for special occasions. The traffic can be heavy on Friday and Saturday nights. The fountain is fun to watch, especially when it is choreographed to music. The wait staff is very attentive. It is load but overall a fun experience.
Twigs is a definite go to for something a bit more upscale than the regular restaurant chains, it’s always a hit. We’ve also started taking our business meetings and visitors to this location.
My wife and I went to Twigs in Farmington, Utah on the recommendation of three friends. The restaurant has lovely ambiance and an exceptoinal outdoor dining area. It was our anniversary and we wanted something special. Unforntunately, the meal was terrible as was the wait time. It took at least 20 minutes to have our order taken. We ordered a flat bread that was a good enough. It came 20 minutes after ordering. Our main dish arrived over one hour after we were seated. I had ordered lightly breaded cod with mashed potatoes. The cod was very heavily breaded, and the breading was burnt. The mashed potatoes were so dry I playfully rolled them into ball and pounded them with a spoon to show their exceptoinal resistant to malformation. They were also rather tasteless. Our waiter said it was very busy and they were slammed. Half the tables were empty and it was a Wednesday night. My wife’s meal was a thin piece of salmon leather, the dirty rice was watery, and the vegetables were so over cooked they had decomposed. Neither of us finished our meals. Our waiter never once asked us how our food was. He talked so fast we couldn’t understand half of what he said. I NEVER skip dessert, but I did that night. My wife narly fainted in disbelief. We went outside to the fountain area and had coffees and dessert from another restaurant. Maybe just a bad night, but wow, what a bad night!
Food is amazing, service is always professional, friendly and quick. Our favorite restaurant in Davis County!
Food and service are very good. The restaurant is loud.
Always an enjoyable experience. We have been for casual, celebratory and office party meals. Food has always been good.
We enjoyed our dining experience for the most part but were extremely disappointed they removed the waffle fry appetizer that brought us in. We won’t be coming back most items are over priced for the value.
Waiter was slightly inattentive but not a bad experience. Was more focused on my beautiful date. The pork osso bucco was amazing. Highly recommended for anyone
I love the cocktails at Twigs, and the food is really decent. The location is the best. Station Park is a great place to hang out, and you can pop into Twigs just before or after seeing a movie about 50 yards away at the theater.
We came in for Easter brunch. The food was great but our waitress didn't explain at all how the buffet worked. Had it not been for overhearing another waiter we would have missed out on other dining options.
Although the food is better than average it is not worth the 30 minute wait I have experienced the last 3 times I have been there. The service is good when you get it you just have to wait a LONG time for it. Takes a few minutes from seating to get a menu, a very long wait before order is taken and at least 20 - 30 minute wait for food. After giving them 3 tries to get it right I have chosen not to return. There are many places to go where the food is above average with much faster service.
Also, we made a reservation for a birthday celebration and it was not even mentioned upon seating or when dessert order was asked for. I also had to see and hear the greeter and a waitress fooling around throwing the menus around. This is supposed to be an upscale environment.
Twigs is a very nice spot to meet your friends and lover(s). ;-) Adequate menu and wine list. Excellent service. Nice ambiance. Parking is a problem but worth overcoming. Try it. You'll like it.
Steaks were not cooked properly and service was slow. Had to ask twice just for straws.
Best gluten free menu around. The food and restaurant are fantastic
Twigs is our go-to restaurant for special occasions and to meet with friends. Our waiters are always up-beat and professional. We love the service we have received from Rome and Erik. Always look forward to Twigs.
Twigs is a great location to go out with friends. The restaurant takes reservations so it's nice when you have a large group. The pesto Margarita chicken is my favorite. We can't wait to go back.
We all had a great time and the food was excellent. Our waitress was awesome... very attentive, but not bothersome at all!
None of us drank because we all drove separate but nothing but 5 stars in every category!
Our waiter was far too rushed. I asked for chardonnay and he did not even ask what label. He also left the check and did not ask if anyone wanted desert.
Yet another wonderful evening with the wife to celebrate my birthday. We're members of their dining club, so we received a free desert!
As always, outstanding food and great location!
We had reservations for two and they sat us at a table right across from the door. People without reservation were seated almost as quickly at much better tables. Every time the door opened we got a cold draft. We saw a server when we ordered, once while eating, and when our check came. Someone else delivered our food and did not check back with us. The flat iron steak was very good. The small serving of mashed potatoes was good but uninspired. The vegetables were not seasoned and quite flavorless. Even though my dinner was almost $30.00, it did not come with soup or salad or bread. I will give it another chance, but next time I will try a sandwich or pizza.
Very disappointed. Went here for Valentine’s Day. The music was so loud we couldn’t really carry a conversation. The waitress was very rude and very under dressed. We got dressed nicely just for our waitress to be wearing an old t shirt and yoga leggings that were too short. Food was okay, but not worth the price. Save some money and go to any other restaurant in Station Park.
We started with the Twigs Signature Fries for our appetizer. They had a little bit of spice to them, but we LOVED them. So good. They even made us some fry sauce on our request.
We both ordered the Pesto Margherita Chicken for our entree, full size. Again, this was so good. Not only my favorite dish at Twigs, but a favorite of anything I have ever had at any restaurant. Get it. You won’t be disappointed.
Too loud, unfriendly managerial and wait staff. Avoid if there is any other option, possibly even fast food YIKES!!!!!
Good. Food and service were really good. Reasonable prices.
The reservation was disappointing. 2 of our party arrived just before 5pm. They gave the person the name on the reservation and took them to their seats. The other 3, including myself, arrived at 5pm. We also gave the reservation name to the hostess and we were seated in a large booth. We were not told that the others had arrived just before us. We ordered drinks and said that we would wait for the others. Finally, after 30 minutes had gone by we received a text message from one of the others wondering if we were okay? Turns out they were already there. This was very frustrating for all parties involved as we were waiting on each other and the whole time we were all there. I feel that we should have been told that the other part of our party was there and seated when we arrived. This incident set the tone for the evening which made it less than enjoyable. We were there to celebrate a birthday and also to see friends we had not seen in almost 2 years. Not sure we would return.
Waiter was amazing, but food was slow to arrive. We arrived right at noon and were seated on the south side. Those of us at the table facing east were hit with the sun right in our eyes from the glass windows up high. They need to put shades or tint that glass. It too over 30 minutes for the sun to move out of our view, so we were all seated with our sunglasses on. We looked liked the mafia....LOL!!!
Great dining as usual. It does get a bit noisey
My family's first time here was a memorable one! Twigs has delicious food and a great selection of tasty martinis. The atmosphere is really comfortable and the price is reasonable for a special occasion. We will definitely be coming back!
Very nice evening. Good service, great food. Would recommend.
Was wonderful even was able to get a seat with a view of the fountain.
This was my husband's 75th birthday and I wanted to bring togerher a group of our close friends. I used the online booking to reserve a table. That worked very well and had a reminder attached to it incase I needed reminding. The table was available when we arrived. The waiter was friendly and provided timely service. All of the different entrees ordered were excellent.
We love this place. We like to come here for date night and try to pick something new each time to try.
Twig's is always great for a ladies night out. Our server was wonderful and the vibe is always positive. The place is just so alive! This visit, drinks and service were perfect, but food was hit and miss. I loved my Twig's burger with delicious garlic flavor, but no one else liked their meal. One friend remarked her chicken tasted like wood smoke. One thing I wish was that a reservation would get you a nice table, as I always request in the notes section of Open Table. They parked us at the busiest spot on the floor, unfortunately. I still think it's a great place to spend an evening, despite the food being a bit off.
Our dinners were perfect: Duck Confit, the Pork Osso Bucco & Twigs Burger. Mango Pomegranate Martini was yummy. Sheena our server was fantastic.
Stopped overnight in SLC & found this little gem close to our hotel. Pecan Caesar salad was very good. BBQ Chicken Flatbread was good but spicy. Chicken Carbonara was ok. Martini was very good! Nice, friendly atmosphere. We will go back if in the area.
Birthday dinner Sunday evening, great waitress, great food!
