This was my first time at this place. Simply amazing. Pricy but worth every penny. Food was excellent, service was great and ambiance just perfect for a special occasion. Highly recommended and will definitely be back

My wife and I are over 70 and we have dined at the Stratosphere 3 times before for our wedding anniversaries (51 this year). We are usually there at dusk to watch the spectacular desert sun sets over the Western Mountains, and watch the bright lights of the Vegas Strip come alive. But, this time we elected to have an early dinner in the afternoon, and we thoroughly enjoyed the very quiet environment and exceptionally attentive service and perfectly prepared food. Although the normal prices of food and drink are a bit above some of the LV Strip restaurants, the spectacular view from the top of the Stratosphere that is the highest point in Las Vegas justifies the prices. In addition, we choose the fixed price (full) menu surf & turf (melt in your mouth filet and choice of lobster tail or shrimp scampi) for the bargin of $49 each, and found it to be an exceptional value. We will be back again to view the always changing LV scenery for special occasions from the rotating view (1 complete rotation over Las Vegas every hour). We believe the exceptional food and unique view is the best value in Vegas for both visitors and locals (like us).

The whole experience was wonderful...the Restaurant, the view and the ambiance was all Top Notch. The service was another story. Our waiter, John and his server didn't smile much....they didn't follow up after our food was brought to see how it was or if we needed anything....no joy or laughter from either of them and getting a up of coffee and the dishes cleared was very slow to occur. I only hope the tourists don't think this is how we treat our visitors because it's not. The rest of our evening was great and we didn't let the awful service ruin our night...I hope they improve it because we'd go back more often as there's always a special occasion to celebrate.

The restaurant was nice and the atmosphere was nice. I wish it would be a little easier to get to the restaurant since we thought we had to purchase a ticket to get to the tower. Then when we were in line to the tower elevator we were told we were in the wrong line. Open Table needs to provide clearer instructions.
The food is good but pricey. I would not recommend the Lobster bisque not worth the price.

We were there for my sister's birthday. I booked on open table easily. The view was wonderful and loved being in a rotating restaurant. We ordered mostly appetizers, but they were tasty and filling. Great cocktails. I would go there again when in town.

Went to this restaurant with my husband for his birthday. The whole experience was absolutely fabulous. The service was excellent, the courses coming when we were ready, helpful advice etc. We went for the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was the best I have ever tasted, the ingredients fresh and the wine really complemented the food. The view was amazing. The only downside was sat backing onto the food preparation area and a little bit noisy at times. The bill was quite steep at over $300for the two of us but well worth it. Have recommended to others and would definitely return if in vegas again.

The view was spectacular, the food was good, the service was great. Prices were to be expected for such a destination restaurant. The only down side is it's a long walk from the entrance to the casino to the elevators.

While some parts of the meal could use some work it was an overall amazing experience. We both got the chefs tasting menu. The bread was hard, some courses were a little lack luster but the view and the great service still made it an overall fantastic experience.

I must admit - This restaurant is not what it used to be. Don't get me wrong - it has very good food and the atmosphere is spectacular, but they seem to have lost a bit of the touch of class and flair that other fine dining establishments have in Vegas. Just to name a few of the particulars: 1) The attentiveness of the wait staff is below average (compared to say Eiffel Tower Restaurant). 2) You have to constantly ask for such things as refill of water glass or extra butter and things. 3) If you have any left overs to take home - they give you a small box and say here pack it yourself and lay a plastic bag on the table (as though it came from a grocery store). Other restaurants place your left overs in nice containers and give you a memorable bag with handles that shows an exquisite touch of class. I will go back, but it will certainly not be anytime soon (and yes - I am a local, but do have guests that come in from out of town from time to time. A bit disappointed how this restaurant falls short of what it used to be.

Went there for the great views of Las Vegas, which this rotating resturant has, but the food was the highlight of the evening. This is a very under rated resturant due to the location, the food is excellent 5 stars even in a very competitive crowded high end food Mecca of Vegas.
You will not be disappointed !!

We were in Las Vegas for a few days and wanted to celebrate my mother's birthday by having a special dinner. This was a wonderful way to celebrate her special day while taking in an amazing view of the city. The food was great and the service was fast.

Eating at the "Top of the World" was a wonderful experience. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Food was good as well as the wine pairings. Would have liked my Filet done a little more, but I am not one to send back. I am a medium steak guy, but when the waiter said that's a slight pink center, I changed to Medium rare. It came out a lot more rare than medium. Red is rare. I will eat steak any way it comes, I just prefer it medium. Other than that, Wonderful Time. Can't wait to go back.

We loved the incredible atmosphere. The views are absolutely breathtaking. While the prices are certainly on the higher end, the taste and the views are worth every penny. We made our reservation over 4 weeks ahead of time, so our seating was on the "outside", closest to the edge. Get the best by making your reservation early enough to see Vegas and the surrounding mountains by daytime, and then the incredible sunset followed by the lights of Vegas at night. Truly a memorable experience and great anniversary!

Best view in Vegas. slowly moving dining room turns for a full 360 degree view of Vegas. Go before sunset to see the colors change and the light come on in Vegas. Sky jumpers pass window for some Vegas style excitement between romantic dining. all tables "feel" private. Easy to have a conversation. Outer window tables are amazing. The food is top notch, with a variety. Vegetarian options, but go for the steaks and seafood. Pricy, but meals do come with vegetables, though additional side options are available. Portions are generous. If you only have 1 night in Vegas or a special occasion, worth the splurge.
