Enjoyed the food as usual and service was great with everyone being appropriately attentive thru out. My first time trying the Swordfish which was moist & delicious. My husband had the Cod, which was a new addition to the menu and he loved it. Though menu isn't mind boggling extensive, it is nicely varied and it changes.

My wife and I chose Wine Kitchen for a rare date night, and we were not disappointed. We had the fried green tomato, Cobb salad, and marinated olives for appetizers, she had a flight of white wines and I tried a bourbon I hadn't seen before. For dinner she had the special that evening, a Pinot Noir poached cod, and I chose the 16oz dry aged ribeye with bone marrow butter. WOW!!!! Most delicious. To end it all we shared an apple pie and I chose to finish it off with a Pedro-Ximenez sherry. Chef Jeff Beard came out after dinner to ask us how everything was, and we couldn't hold back on the praise. Bravo!!!!

I always enjoy the Wine Kitchen on the Creek. Staff is friendly, informative and energetic. On this particular occasion our party of 4 had a reservation at 7 PM on a Sat evening. When
I arrived about 10 min early They offered to seat me right away as our table was ready. I declined as I always feel uncomfortable occupying a table when it is just me. In hindsight I should have taken them up on the offer. I think the greeter got us confused with another party of 4 and sat the other party first. At about 7:20 the greeter stopped by to say they were just waiting for a party to leave, they had already paid their check. At 7:40 we were still waiting to be sat and they told us they would offer us a cheese plate as soon as we got sat. They did apologize many times. I think we ended up getting sat finally at about 8 PM...at a table that had been empty the entire time we waited. The cheese plate arrived very shortly thereafter and they comp'd us a couple of desserts too. Overall food and service were excellent we were just fortunate we didn't have anywhere to be after the dinner.

I had lunch with three of my closer friends, and we had a phenomenal time. We were seated outside on what must have been the nicest day of the month, and we were incredibly well attended to.
I HIGHLY encourage the charcuterie plate. Splitting between four people made for a phenomenal group appetizer, and the selections were phenomenal. Also, considering the high quality of the restaurant, the bill was not as large as you would have expected. 30-40 per person, and we had each ordered flights/whiskey/assorted drinks to go with our meals.
Overall, highly recommended. Will definitely come again.

This was our first visit after having tried and failed twice to get a table at this popular establishment. The four of us shared and split dishes so that we could sample as much as possible. Particular high marks go to the cheese and charcuterie samplers, as well as the chocolate flight and dessert wine flight at the end of the meal. Would definitely visit again.

The cinnamon buns and corn meal pancakes were the stars of my meal. The shrimp and grits wee ok, but not as good as other entries I have tried. I was sad they ran out of the dessert I wanted, but I bought a bottle of port and went up the street to buy some truffles, so now I have it every night this week!

The food is always amazing and the staff is always wonderful. The only issue we had was the tables are so close in the middle. I felt like the other tables were involved in our conversation. Otherwise we love coming here!

Really enjoyed it. I had pheasant and my wife had halibut, and both meals were superb. The service was very friendly and attentive without any hint of being overbearing. We really enjoyed the wine flights, a tasting portion of 3 wines for the price of one glass. Very nice setting on Carroll Creek.

Celebrating our anniversary, we were looking for something new and different to try - something other than really expensive steak in a dimly lit dining room. The Wine Kitchen on the Creek fit the bill perfectly! The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable about the wines on the list for suggesting pairings with menu selections. I like that each wine was served with a card showing the name of the wine and listed its characteristics. I have since used one of those cards to track down and buy a bottle of the one that was my favorite. The menu is very creative, and everything that we tried was delicious. Do expect a bit of a wait for your dinner to be served since each is created to order, and creativity done right takes time. The food is plated to appeal to the eye as well as the palate. There is plenty of parking nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Wine Kitchen on the Creek!

We did the wine tasting at around brunch time on a Sunday where we each purchased 3 different wines to taste. So fun and Randy the bartender was super nice and knowledgeable. The wines were delicious and the food, although a bit salty, was also yummy (bar food is supposed to be salty, I hear, as it makes one drink more...!!)
My only concern was that one of the young women who worked there (maybe as a bar back?) had lovely long strawberry blonde hair which was not in a ponytail or secured in any way, nor was she wearing a hat...and she kept playing with her hair around the bar area where our food was...I didn't see anything gross in my food at all, but it concerned me slightly. My husband works in food service and is a stickler for proper food handling. He would've had a fit.

Other than being a bit hard to find (perhaps add a sign on the outside of the brick building?), it was a wonderful experience. The outside seating was perfect.... just what we were looking for in a reunion with old friends. Wine, food, beer was all great. Just a lovely experience. Thank you !

Brunch was perfect. I sat outside enjoying the lotus and water lilies, watching people walk by. I started with olives and the Cobb salad. The olives were so good and the Cobb salad just right. I opted for the Maryland Benedict. The egg was perfectly poached, the corn biscuit and ham pairing withe the crab, it was incredible. With this I also got the summer soliloquy wine flight, which was very good. But the best part was dessert. I got the wine and chocolate flight. The two wines went very well with the chocolate, with my favorite being the dulce de leche truffle and the Porto.
So yes, I plan on going back. It was a perfect late summer Sunday.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a couple of glasses of complimentary champagne to celebrate the occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience but went down to four stars for a few items because it wasn't quite as amazing as our first experience there last year.

Great menu, both food and bar. Fun space - too hot for us to sit outside, but we will definitely be back to sit by the canal on a nice evening. Service was terrific - attentive but not over-bearing. Food was delicious. Great find!

Always delicious! Sometimes we just sit at the bar and enjoy wine and cheese other times we get an entree in the dining area. My favorites are the duck breast, New York strip and the wahoo when available. Service is always top notch too!

We loved the wine table. We were a group of nine friends reunion for lunch. Loved the food and location. The staff were so nice to put us in the wine room so we could talk and here each other We will definitely be back!

Food was tasty. Nice selection of wines and spirits. Not enough variety since they were out of chicken and menu tends on the heavy side. . Too many servers to our table- I counted 5- makes for a disjointed experience. Open kitchen concept is fine but was too loud with pots be pans banging.
