The SteakHouse Ratings and Reviews
Service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Atmosphere was exceptional. We will be back you can be sure. Had to cancel the original reservation but the hostess was very understanding and we made the make up reservation as soon as we got back in town.
Excellent ribeye steak, at a reasonable price, with good side items. The calamari appetizer is also very good--lightly breaded and tender. The dining room is small, but the booths are nicely arranged for privacy and a quiet meal, and the service is quick and efficient. I've eaten here many times, and it has always been well worth the drive (which, by the way, is very scenic).
You will be amazed at everything this restaurant has to offer! Fantastic service, soups and salads that are out of this world and main dishes Iike prime rib, steaks, chicken and sea food that are simply unbelievable! You'd be expecting to pay much more for the meal somewhere else. TIP: The Steakhouse is only open Thursday through Sunday and reservations are STRONGLY suggested! My wife and I have been coming here since it opened and have NEVER been disappointed in anything!
Another wonderful experience! I would recommend your fine restaurant to anyone, in fact I often to friends and family. I take new people there as often as I can to let them experience the wonderful food and the great staff! Everyone there are always so pleasant! Thanks again for a wonderful meal!
I ordered my steak medium well, which in my past experience has a hint of pink. The steak came out well done. I expressed my concern to the wait staff and was told that I should have ordered medium plus. i am not familiar with "medium plus" and it was the first time I have heard the term. Needless to say the wait staff did not offer to send it back so I had 4 bites of my steak and was not happy.
We've been trying to get in for a long time, but always think of it too late to get a reservation. It was worth the wait. Had their special, which was Beef Tips with Fresh Blackberries - delicious. Service was great - got in right at reservation time - server was super nice. Will definitely go back.
This is the best food by far in Cripple Creek, the food is a great value for the money. It is even a better value if you play enough to earn comp points to make your meal free. The food is the closest to a five star dining experience you will find in Cripple Creek. It was delightful to be able to enjoy the dinning experience without having to feel like one must speak in a loud voice or yell to the person across from you. I would recommend the Steak House to anyone looking for fine dining but would recommend that you make your reservation at least a week or more in advance to hold the time one would like to dine as this speaks to the popularity of the Steak House.
The lamb chops were great. Our waitress was fantastic. The wine was good. The music playing was nice and volume set just right to have a conversation. You get a birthday cake for your birthday which is wonderful. A very enjoyable experience.
We always ENJOY eating at The SteakHouse and frequently take visiting family members, out of state visitors and friends, as guests.
They offer a nice variety on their menu and their Crème Brule is awesome, as is the Kona Coffee! Reservations are strongly recommended, especially for Friday or Saturday dining. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. Thank You
Always a great experience here. I had the NY Strip and my wife had the butter filet, both were cooked as asked for and very flavorful. We came up to Cripple Creek for my wife's birthday, and since she belongs to Bronco Billy's players club The Steakhouse gave her a free small birthday cake to take home.
This is not the normal food and service I expect from the Steakhouse, the waitress was barely around ( at one point I had to ask the busboy to go find her because we hadn't seen her in 30 minutes!) They pride themselves on their Steaks, however, mine was way overcooked, shoe leather. For a $40 steak, I got the Porterhouse it was a huge disappointment .My wifes Salmon was burnt on the botto as well. We went there for my wifes birthday, had to wait even though we had reservations. It seemed as though they did not plan enough staff. The fact that it was during the Ice Festival, I thought they would be better prepared. Truly disappointed this time with the Steakhouse. I am having reservations about going back now. The café downstairs would of been a better choice.
