We occasionally make it here for our date night dinner. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The service is top notch and I don't just mean they take care of you. They go above and beyond to make every detail special. It's the same with the food. The food is always better than can be expected and their table side choices are not only tasty, but entertaining as well. Perfect choice no matter what your occasion.

This is the first time we visited Harrah's Steakhouse in Reno and we were both very pleasantly surprised. Get place for our wedding anniversary. Mike, the Maitre d' was extremely helpful and our servers Jerry, and Miguel(I think), and another Filipino guy all went out of their way to make our dinner special! You won't be disappointed!

We had 3 wonderful folks attending to our table. The Maitre D was wonderful and he kept all of our needs met.
The young waiter was very personable when he dropped off the food.
I highly recommend the Cherry braised pork chop, it was the best I have ever had.
We had a relaxing anniversary dinner. We will be back soon.

We really were disappointed that they required a 24 hour notice for the soufflé , which was one of our favorites.. We came all the way from Japan to celebrate our birthdays and we're not able to get our favorite ... Disappointing, as this was our purpose for going to this restaurant!!
As always, the waitress and servers were great and kind!!!

This steakhouse has been in Reno for years, and we have been dining here whenever we visit Reno for at least 20 years. Nice cozy dark ambiance. Service that is everything you can expect in a high end steak house. Beautiful perfectly cooked steaks. The onion soup served in a large hollowed out onion is creamy and delish. If you liek creamed spinach, their is really nicely cooked without wilting the spinach down to mush so it still has a nice texture. They have several items on the menu that are prepared table side if you like to watch your Steak Dianne being prepared for you. Personally, the big bone in ribeye is too much to resist. Nice wine list. We will be back the next time we visit Reno.

Classic Steakhouse, exceptional service, ambience, superb food & drinks. My wife and I always enjoy the classic atmosphere and excellent service. The table-side prep is fun and tastes great every time. Our dinners were perfectly cooked, and they gave her a personalized dessert her Birthday. Highly recommended!

Been to Harrah's Steak House numerous times over the past 30 years. This is the first time we were at all disappointed. Salad and between course items were the same as always. But the Filet Steak was a tad tough and the usual wonderful vegetables were replaced by a very poor replacement. Sorry to say but the good-old-times appear to be gone. Very sad.

Love the "frozen in time" feel for this old school steakhouse that still makes Ceasar salad (and the dressing) tableside .
Steaks great, perfectly cooked and everything else terrific - loved the crunch bread, au gratin potatoes, and the authentic Ceasar dressing.
The best are the servers - almost all with 20+ years at that restaurant. No hipsters. Just people who view serving food as an honorable profession.

Excellent service is evident the minute you walk in the door. This was the last night of our 3 week road trip across 18 states in the US. We all agreed this was our most impressive restaurant stop. The food was prepared spot on. It was evident the cook took great pride in the plates that left his kitchen.
We enjoyed the steak and prawn special offered that evening, with standard escargot, lobster escargot and oysters Rockefeller. Deliciously enjoyed by all 3 at our table. Once again the wait staff was impeccable!
WE WILL BE BACK!

An old-world gourmet experience. From the amuse bouche to the mid course sherbet, it is hard to find this level of service anymore. I had the duck, which was perfect - crispy skin, tender meat. I usually have the filet or rib-eye which is cooked to perfection. Have the at-table prepared caesar salad. I also splurged on the escargot-style lobster pieces.

When I hear the are the place to go for great steaks I expect great steaks. My streak was of poor quality and difficult to cut with a steak knife. I called the waiter over and he did deduct from the bill, he didnt offer to bring out another steak but he did buy us dessert, nice gesture but it wasn't good as billed either. They have better steaks in Reno we know now not to go back
Live and learn.

The service, the food, the atmosphere, everything was perfect. We had a great time and were happy to be seated in a room with a little privacy for our group of 6 people. Everything was outstanding from the great friendly service to the wonderful food. All were pleased with their selection. I can't wait to go back.

This was our 36th Wedding Anniversaey and they made it Really Special! The wait staff were 100% awesome and entertaining, especially professional in delivering on what you would expect in a 5 star restaurant.
2 notes: We had baked Alaska & Caesar salad table side delivery and Super great fun to watch the staff prep & deliver (especially Joe, who I think his Mom works there too! He is a engaging entertainer).
Our dessert plates were special decorated for our occasion. Chef & Staff: superior delivery.
The matre'd (Armond?) was great and clearly watching all for best performance. I think he is good at developing his wait staff.
Totally professional all way round.
We'll be back.

All 'round good value. We can always count on getting great service in addition to our meal! We enjoyed cocktails before dinner, oysters on the half shell (what beats blue point?!) the avocado and seafood salad, an entrée and topped it all off with Café Diablo! Absolutely nothing better.

Great ambience and great food! However, for the 1st time, I felt a little rushed. For instance, dinner was delivered while we were still finishing our soup and the check and after dinner mints were delivered while we were still eating dessert. Nonetheless, I would definately go back. I would just let the waiter know I was not in a hurry...

I have not been to this restaurant in many years, but the classy atmosphere, fabulous food, and absolutely phenomenal service was the same as I remember it. A little pricey, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for!

My best friend of almost 50 years and I had dinner at Harrah's Steakhouse on 9/10/16 and we both agreed it was the best meal we have ever had! The Caesar Salad for 2 created at table side was incredible, His my Pork Chop and my Filet were wonderful, would highly recommend!

A hidden lightless Underground cozy getaway from the never resting blinking and noisy Casino buzzing, this very Nice restaurant came as a pleasent and overwhelmingly delicious experience.
Professional and empathic staff made sure we had everything we needed at all Times.
Oysters and champagne for starters paved a path of exquisite delight before the main event.
I recommend the dinasaur Cut ribeye any Day! An absolutely amazing piece of Meat that melted on My tongue accompanied by a full bodied Zinfandel from California.
Go there! And be more than satisfied.

I visit Reno about 2-3 times per year and try to make it a point to have dinner at Harrah's Steakhouse. Since my first visit 15+ years ago each dining experience has been just that - an experience! The decor and ambiance still retains the "fancy" restaurant look from the dark wood paneling to the white tablecloths. The service is impeccable. The head waiter, Oz (Oswald), has been working there for almost 30 years and his table-side manner is just so pleasant and friendly. Even though my family and I are not what you consider "regulars", Oz still recognizes us and we make it a point to sit in his station.
The food is excellent and prepared wonderfully. First starter is a crostini appetizer with a salmon mousse (yummy), followed by a small champagne & sorbet 'chaser' to " cleanse the pallet"! If you plan to order an appetizer you must request the Coconut Crusted Prawn Appetizer (not on the menu). Lightly crusted & fried with a Thai sauce that'll have you dipping your bread into! I have yet to find another restaurant that can compare to that appetizer.
Their meat dishes are fabulous - try the Steak Diane, cooked tableside - what a show!
