About The Red Feather
The Red Feather is a contemporary American farm to table restaurant located in the Oakley neighborhood of greater Cincinnati. We offer an upscale casual dining experience with an emphasis on classic culinary techniques and slow, careful preparations. Enjoy forty wines by the glass, 200+ by the bottle, house made craft cocktails and a comprehensive list of micro-brewed beers. The bar is perfect for an after work drink, meeting friends, sharing a bottle of wine or enjoying one of our innovative bar snacks. Warm woodwork surrounds our three separate dining areas each with its own personality, from cozy and intimate to bright and airy. We also offer an up close and intimate Chefs Table where one can watch the preparation of our food and interact with our Chef/Owners. The Red Feather stands for innovation, rough luxury, and honoring those who worked to bring us the products that we are proud to serve and enjoy.

The Red Feather Ratings and Reviews
The food and atmosphere was great. I had the Breakfast Poutine and Lobster Benedict with an orange juice, which was filling and enough to take home as leftovers. The price for the meal was reasonable for a bougie brunch. My server was pretty rude though. He gave me an attitude and looked at me like I was stupid. Even my friends commented that he only seemed rude to me. Don't know what I did, but I still tipped him 15%. I'll be back, but I better have a different server cause his attitude turned the whole experience sour.
The prosciutto salad and the blackened barramundi were fantastic. The featured 24 hour brined Berkshire pork chop was a little on the dry side but delicious. The featured gnocchi was good as were the desserts. The server John was at the top of his game, not intrusive but always observing for any needs. Will be back.
The Red Feather hits the mark every time you go there. You can depend on there being an interesting menu no matter the season. Each and every employee that we've had contact with makes you feel like you are having a special evening. They are a classy act from start to finish.
We dined here for our 3rd wedding anniversary and was very impressed. We live in the area, but have never even heard of the Red Feather. Everything was fresh and from scratch. Every dish had a unique and creative aspect to it. We will be back for our next special occasion!
We came out to celebrate the soon-to-be arrival of our twins. Our server was exceptional. She was very attentive without being overwhelming. I unfortunately did not catch her name. The food was delicious. We will be back ( if we get another date night after the babies are born).
I booked a reservation well in advance, and they permitted my request of a quieter corner which was great. The food and drink overall was good, but I ordered a dish that was not available and therefore had to choose something else, which was fine, however, when the 2nd choice arrived, the side had been changed without consulting me since they had run out of the side I had chosen. I would have complained further but my dish had already come out after everyone else's in my party. This was a disappointing experience since I was excited to eat here. I do feel they should have taken my dish off the bill, but simply wasn't in the mood to complain, but I won't be excited to go here again.
A Saturday night dinner with friends. Various small plates, salads, entrees; all were perfect. Timing was spot on. Service identified we were not in a hurry and timed the courses accordingly. You have to leave room for desserts. We ordered four desserts and shared them all.
We eat at Red Feather 4-6 times a year. We enjoy the restaurant but caution that it is not a quick dinner experience. You place your order all together - appetizer, salad and dinner - and the kitchen spaces out the courses. We have always found a large lag between finishing the salad course and the arrival of the main course. Saturday night it was at least 20 minutes.
Quaint and cozy with a great overall vibe. The food is pricey but that comes from the farm to table concept. The restaurant is very well run and the service was excellent. Our server (Keith) noticed a wobble to our table before we did and very efficiently corrected it. He was fantastic. We enjoyed the make-your-own Bloody Mary bar with our brunch. Overall we had a great first time experience and look forward to going back.
Arrived on time and just as the place opened. From the time I sat down till I received my food was over 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Multiple sets of people received their food orders before I did. Food was pretty good and my server was nice but clearly there are problems in the kitchen. I wanted to rate the place higher but my overall experience was I received good food at a high price point and sitting near the kitchen hearing the cook bark loudly the food orders makes this place less desirable.
Hello, we had reservations at 745 pm. We brought another guest so we had to wait a additional 45 min at bar which was ok. After being seated I food didn't arrive until 915 My husband had to ask if anything was ready . We were brought a basket of bread. Food was good. Kitchen probably needs more staff. It makes the waiters look bad and it's really not their fault .
This was one of many visits to this restaurant. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. We were seated in an area that is typically used for private parties. It was small and loud. Unlike the main dining room, the tables did not have tablecloths giving the room a more casual feel. The menu and the prices however were the same. The portions were exceeding small and did not support the pricing.
