Was fairly happy with my experience at the little door. It's a beautiful space, and during brunch they have live music to set great ambiance there.
The food was good but for the area of town it's in, by no means exceptional either. We started our meal with the kale and artichoke salad which was very good.
My wife ordered the filet mignon Benedict which was my favorite thing I tasted. My mother in law ordered the duck confit which equally was good but seemed to lack that punch (and salt) that the steak had. My only issue with the meal was that they had forgotten my waffle.
I ordered a waffle, and even though we were literally the only table there when we arrived and ordered, they still forgot. When it arrive it was good, it had a generous amount of berries and cream. The maple syrup is smoked and really tasty.
Service was great, waitress let me know they made a mistake in the kitchen which I appreciated. Our waters were always filled. Overall a good experience with a few minor hiccups.

This is the third time I have been to The Little Door and I am always reminded, as to why I love it so much. It's perfect for a date you want to impress or a romantic anniversary. I love the ambience of the place.

The place was pretty nice. It has a romantic atmosphere to it. The service was ok. However, I received a phone call saying we didn't pay for our dinner. We paid in cash and left 18% tips on the table, but they assumed that we didnt. That kind of irritate me and my boyfriend. At least we didn't have to drive all the way back to la to settle it because he apologizes a few seconds later.

Inattentive service. No cutlery on the table. Had to chase down the hostess .
Salad was fabulous but sea bass can be avoided. Nice ambience.
Overall experience C though with minor improvements it could be an A. Would not go back.

This is the most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to! It was so enchanting and fairytale like. The food was delicious and Brigitte, our server was very sweet, funny and attentive to our needs. The whole evening was superb!

Such a magical place. Everything from the entrance to the lighting to the most exceptional service. Very nice and attentive waitstaff. The atmosphere was great. It provides a half indoor half outdoor experience. You're surrounded with plants and vintage decor. Real candles on every table, and scattered around the restaurant on the walls, in bird cages, on book shelves... Bamboo sticks on the ceiling. It's beautiful in there. Also had white Christmas lights strung about, which provides a bit more light. We started with drinks and an appetizer. I had the Grandfather and my girlfriend had a glass of Riesling, from Germany. The Grandfather was an excellent take on a Manhattan. We ordered the Spicy Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was lacking a bit on the spice, but had good flavor. The entrees were fantastic. I had the duo of duck breast/leg and my girlfriend had the Sea Bass. Both were delicious. Portions were plenty, which is sometimes a rarity when paying these prices. We both left happy and full. Would definitely recommend for a date.

I've been coming here for 6 years and always recommend the place to friends from both overseas and local. Love it.
Had a great and very service minded waiter - Thank you.
The food is always amazing and tasteful. Love the vibe and little garden. Cozy all together.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here. Everything about this place deserves a 10/10. The service, decor and food. It is a beautifully decorated place, dim lighting for a romantic atmosphere. The food was divine. We devoured each plate including our appetizer, entree and dessert. Definitely coming back for our next special occasion. And I can't wait!

The ambiance of The Little Door cannot be beat. A real escape from the city in a Morrocan french atmosphere. The service was wonderful and helpful. The 3 course prix fixed dinner was a value and everything was delicious.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I went here at the suggestion of a few of my friends- who I considered to have good taste. I was very impressed. It's quiet. The ambiance is wonderful. The food was excellent. I had the ribeye, fois gras, duck, and tuna tartar. It was all tasty! The waiter was very polite- and one of the most professional I have encountered. My date was impressed too. Would def recommend!

We were excited to try this place! Love the entry door, ambience in front of restaurant is energetic and fun. We were sat in back room, much quieter, good area for couples! Waitress was great not intrusive and helpful, and there at the rights times! Started with prosciutto wrapped figs, great! I had chicken dish - WOW!!!! Husband had Duck, big portion. He said leg was very tender & good but, breast portion a little chewy, tough. Although, the dish was still good. He said he would try the lamb dish when we return. Had creme Brûlée and coconut cheesecake, both great. Corkage is $35, high. After dinner we proceeded to front of restaurant to the bar to hang out. Loved the energy. We had a great time and really enjoyed this neighborhood gem. We will be back! Thank you!

CUTE LITTLE INDOOR/OUTDOOR FRONT SECTION & BAR, THEN QUIET MORROCCAN ROOM AT BACK - ALMOST LIKE TWO DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS. VERY FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE BARTENDERS AND WAIT STAFF. FRONT HOST NOT AS FRIENDLY. FOOD WAS GREAT!

We enjoyed our experience at The Little Door (after we stood out front trying to figure out how to get in.) The entry was a bit of a mystery with no signage out front, but that added intrigue to the experience. The bartender was fabulous, and we had a great time chatting with him before being seated. We had heard this was a French restaurant, so we were surprised to see that the menu was French Moroccan, with some very interesting dishes. The large appetizer plate was incredible, but be forewarned...I was so full after splitting it with my husband that I declined to order an entrée. Would have loved to experience more of the food, but just didn't have the room!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Tucked away off of Third, this place feels like no where else in LA. Food was good, some things were really amazing (burrata peach salad!!) and the rest was certainly good, if not great. Such a lovely evening with great service.

Such a beautiful gem in LA. Great cocktails and food. Romantic garden atmosphere. The service is always impeccable without being stiff or formal. Had a slight snafu with our reservation, but Manager Michael Gannon took care of us and turned it around with a smile and a great attitude. Kudos to bartender Kurk (sp?) as well, kept us happy while waiting for our table.
