We had a wonderful time at the Little Dipper celebrating our daughter's 25th birthday. Our table was in a great location and was ready for us at the appropriate time. Our server Patrick had a fantastic personality and thoroughly explained the fondue procedure to all of us-- including our 9-year-old son!
The food was fresh and beautifully presented; the cocktails were delicious and the half-priced bottles of wine were an added delight. We learned new recipes and had a wonderful time cooking our own food.
The chocolate dessert fondues were sumptuous, and the special on-the-house cheesecake Patrick presented to our daughter was unexpected but greatly appreciated.
We had an A+ experience, and will definitely return to the Little Dipper!

The food was descent enough. I had ravioli so it was hard to keep it from falling into the pan, I figured it out towards the end of the meal but did not eat them all it annoyed me. Service was ok, I felt like everything was rushed from the time we sat down to deciding what we wanted to order and it was difficult to see the menu, poor lighting. The server knew the menu fairly well so she was able to explain the process, she just seemed a little off (forgetful). However, once we received our food we were able to relax and converse yet it felt like we had to scream to hear one another not because the place was packed but the acoustics are just that way. All in all we had a good time and will probably return for special occasions; the concept is neat.

The Little Dipper should not be ranked two dollar signs ($$) It is three to four ($$$ - $$$$). What should be included are extra. Portions extremely small and variety limited. Flavors not there, almost everything was bland. Was made to feel unreasonable asking for more dipping bread.

I love going to the Little Dipper. It has been a spot to go to with friends for years. This week my best friend and I took our boys, 3 and 5, with us. We were both wondering how it would go. They had a kids menu which I didn't now about and was very happy to find they had! The boys had a blast eating cheese and cooking their own food! We will definitely be back with and without the kids again!

I absolutely love the Little Dipper. I drive an hour just to come to dinner here. This is the second time I have been for a birthday and the staff goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable. The food is delicious and there are a lot of options to choose from. I enjoy their bar menu and the drinks are very good. I have also taken some work colleagues here and we had a great experience. Right on historic front street, but not in the middle of the loud scene. I highly recommend!!

This was the first time I ever ate here. Took my best friend for her birthday because it is her favorite place. The food was amazing, never had anything like it before and it was great. The wait staff were so nice and helpful, very informative, polite. I love how they cook the appetizer right there at the table. A really great place and I can't wait to go back.

I was so very excited to try this place out. I had never done fondue and neither had my fiancé but I wanted to do something different for date night so I made reservations to eat at this place. The ambience was pretty ok and our waitress was very great and attentive!! The whole experience with fondue was fun and different from our normal date nights that we have. I find the place to be great for date night as you can dress up and really enjoy the time you have together cause it does take about two hours from start to finish. However the down side is the food was very bland to us. The cheese which is what they bring out first was good but the rest was just blah. The main thing we enjoyed was the dessert that we ordered at the end but they only give you a small portion and when I say small I mean small but we enjoyed the strawberries and bananas and marshmallows dipped in the choc. Over all I loved the idea of doing something different more than I did the actual place and most of that is because of the price which was 150.00 for two and the food taste was blah but our service was great !!!!

The Little Dipper was hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever gone to! Not only was the food oustanding, the service was excellent. Our server helped us by making suggestions and we did not regret taking him up on them. I will definitely be going back.

We go here everytime we visit Wilmington. It was our first experience with fondue and we fell in love with it immediately and have recommended it to others, as well as invited others to join us. It is, hands down, one of my favorite places ever!

Loved the food and it was a really fun experience!! We had a table of 6, and unfortunately we were hardly able to hear over the music. We had a hard time hearing our waitress but she was great and took very good care of us! Would definitely come back again!
