A wonderful place for a cool, classy evening (or lunch). We were going to a concert at Benaroya Hall and it was the perfect spot for an elegant dining experience. The menu spans steak to seafood. Something for everyone!

This was the worst experience I have had at the Capital Grille. 40 minutes went by before we got our drinks or ordered our food. The filet was dry, the seafood grill was pretty good. They made up for the slow service by sending us an appetizer without checking if we wanted fried food or not and since neither of us eat fried food, we sent it back. Overall a poor experience and I won't be back in a hurry

Food was excellent as always. Our real issue was that out plates were cleared after dinner and desert without anyone asking. My son was still eating dinner and they took his side dish away and kept trying to take his plate even though it was obvious he was still eating. We had uneaten food left as well and no one asked if we wanted it boxed up to take home, they just took it. Same thing after desert. Maybe asking before you clear the table would be helpful.

What a wonderful way to start our evening of the Seattle Symphony and Yo Yo Ma! We celebrated my hubby's birthday (the tickets were a gift from our daughter)--they had a hand written card on the table--and staff came by and said Happy birthday. No embarrassing singing--my hubby would have been upset by that!

The meal was very good as usual. We had unusually slow service though, even though we mentioned early on that we had a 8pm show to make (we came in at 6pm and thought we had plenty of time). Waiters for other tables would come 3 or 4 times before our waiter would come to take our food order. I hope this was just a fluke!

The Capital Grille was one of my highlights of my trip to Seattle! Amazing service and great food! We mentioned to them that we were there to celebrate our anniversary and they decorated our table with hearts before they seated us. After our meal, they also brought in complimentary dessert with the words "Happy Anniversary" written out in chocolate powder (?) on the plate! Our server was great as well! I asked him to take a couple of pictures for us and he helped us find the perfect spot for the photo. I would absolutely come back for another dinner!

I told the restaurant that I was bringing my boyfriend for his birthday, and when we arrived, they had set a card and confetti on the table. It was a nice touch. The alcohol list is on an iPad, which is cool because it allows you to see tasting notes and other information at a quick touch. I had a steak with gorgonzola, and it wasn't that good, to be honest. It was very fatty and the cheese was too overwhelming. However, the baked potato, fresh bread, and lobster mac and cheese were great. The ambiance was lovely. Though I was disappointed with my steak, my boyfriend liked his.

Very good food, atmosphere, and service. Nice touches for the birthday celebration.
Unfortunately, a poor experience in the bar afterward - the bartender tried to charged $24 for a glass of "house" wine...really?

The Capital Grille - Seattle was incredible. I have eaten at The Capital Grille restaurants in Vegas, Scottsdale, Boston, and now Seattle. The steaks were incredible and you have got to try the Lobster Mac and Cheese. You can't miss for a great meal at The Capital Grill.

This was our first experience at the Capital Grille. The ambiance was very nice. The wait staff were very attentive. This was my wife's birthday and they brought her a very nice dessert. The food was superb. All in all I would say it was a great experience and would reccomend it to others. We plan to come back again soon. That being said this is not an inexpensive restaurant. However, the food is outstanding.

We walked in a few minutes prior to our reservation time but they were most kind to seat us immediately. I had a delicious steak and my wife had King Salmon. The presentation, and taste, of our meal was 5 star and we were most pleased with our dinner plans for the evening.

The decor is classic steak house as is the service. One of the ways I judge restaurants is by their lobster bisque, and theirs was excellent. The steak was of high quality and came just like I ordered it. It was a very enjoyable meal.

After enjoying Seattle's Capital Grille with my sister in July, I knew I had to take my husband. We've eaten in another of their locations, but Seattle was special. We had a trip back to Seattle in September and that was the first reservation I made. So many times when you return to a restaurant the experience isn't quite as good as you remember it, however, our recent visit promoted my husband to state it was one of the top five meals of his life. We've eaten in wonderful establishments from coast to coast and internationally, so that's quite a statement. I can honestly say it was as good as I remembered it. The quality of the food and service is simply outstanding.

After many, many celebrations for both personal and business at Capitol Grill in downtown Seattle, this was my first less than stellar experience. Truly, nothing stays the same. Capitol Grill appears to moving itself to compete with more middle of the road steak restaurants which I assume is reflective of the overall financial stability of the parent company rather than the individual restaurant itself. This was evidenced by the addition of sides with the entry and our servers comment on this move was made to make the entrees a better value. I do not go to Capitol Grill because it is a good value. I go for the experience. It was also a bit disconcerting to find upon arriving at the curb that valet parking is no longer included in the dinner, nor was it charged to the evenings check. While I do certainly do not mind paying for downtown parking, it certainly would have been appropriate for our server to have informed us of this when we presented our parking ticket when paying the check. Good thing that after tipping the valet $20, we still had cash left to pay. I will certainly be pushing more of my dollars toward El Gaucho in the future which seems to be stepping up its game rather than trying to play in the middle field.

Great service & food. We were tired from a day of being tourist and were worried they might be snooty when our teenagers refused to dress up. But there was a diverse group, dress code wise, in the restaurant and the wait staff could not have been any more accommodating and friendly.

We had a fantastic lunch for a special occasion last week and it couldn't have been more wonderful! Celebration champagne, fantastic lunch and delicious coffee. The service was perfection - I can't wait to return!

Hadn't eaten here in awhile. Shared a combo of dishes with dining companion. Recommend the wedge salad. Lobster/crab cakes also good. Parmesan truffle fries okay, but there are lots of places with awesome fries. Sliced filet with wild mushrooms: I'll swear they were criminis. Steak was charred on outside, still pink in middle. Should have had a sauce on the side.
