Food was excellent, great ambiance, beautiful decor. Actually feels like you are on vacation in an exclusive area. Great place to celebrate. Dress was a lot more casual than i would have anticipated. Lots of people in jeans.

It was our 1st visit to location. We were pleasantly surprised with overall atmosphere and attention-to-detail (building, furniture, etc). As well, we're "wine-snobs". With that said, your wine exceeds our expectations. Well done!
We will return 😀.

Overall our experience was good. We couldn't get a reservation before 8:45 however, when we arrived there were several empty tables but we still had to wait almost 20 minutes for our table. The service was good, not memorable.

As expected, The Bistro delivers. Ambience, Service, and Cuisine. This is the total package. I have been to the Bistro five times, and have never had a disappointing experience. The menu selections and food preparation are superb. You can't go wrong with a trip to this restaurant.

Canton has a gem. One of the best wineries I've been too in the U.S. Beautiful grounds, villas etc... The food was excellent and fantastic service. The only negative is I didn't receive dining points, but spent over $150 in food. Please reconsider this policy OpenTable and/or Gervasi's.

We enjoyed our dinner with friends at Gervasi Vineyard Bistro restaurant. It's a beautiful place with stunning rustic/elegant architecture. We did have a hard time finding a red wine that we liked. We ordered a flight of 3 to help make the selection, with the intention of ordering a bottle. However we really weren't crazy about any of the 3, and ended up just ordering a glass of the least objectionable. The food was good but not anything really special, the waiter was excellent and helpful. Overall we enjoyed it, and thought it was a nice place to go for a special birthday with some friends who live nearby. One thing that I was surprised about was that virtually all of the other patrons on a Friday evening were wearing jeans. For the price and type of place this is, I didn't expect it to be so super casual.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at The Bistro in August celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Thus, we invited two couples to join us at The Bistro to celebrate three separate birthdays. One couple is from Canton, while my wife and I, and the other couple are from the east side of Cleveland. We arrived at 6:20 for a 6:15 reservation, and were seated immediately. We ordered fairly promptly, but did not receive our food until 8:30, two hours after we were seated. Five of the six meals were good, but one was tasteless. Needless to say, my wife and I were disappointed, and embarrassed.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Bistro. The food was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. Dan, our server, was very knowledgeable about the wine list and the meals. He gave us just the right amount of attention, but was not overbearing. The night was topped off by a surprise dessert in celebration of our anniversary.
Thanks for making our evening special!

First visit to Gervasi this past weekend. It was for our anniversary and it was a great change from the typical chain restaurant. They have a great wine selection and the staff is very knowledgable and communicates well the nuances of each item. We had an appetizer, salad, and main dish (which we split because it was so big). Overall a beautiful building, fantastic food prepared by real chefs, delicious wine choices, and even great dessert choices. Would highly recommend if you've never been there.

I had been at Gervasi many years ago and didn't remember being too impressed since I hadn't been in a hurry to get back. Have an out-of-town friend who has been asking her boyfriend to take her there for the past three years. Finally, six of us met there for dinner the other night, and had a great time. Note that it is very loud in there (this was a weeknight and still full room), and one of our party is hard of hearing, so he had a difficult time conversing. The menu was much more broad than I recall from before. I was surprised that the portions were generous. I had the beef and puff pastry appetizer, and it was huge and delicious. If I hadn't shared, I could have eaten it as a dinner. Since I am used to fancier restaurants like this to be more into presentation that quantity, I ordered appetizer and salad in addition to my dinner. The salad came, also delicious, and I took two bites and asked them to box it to go. I knew I wouldn't be able to touch my dinner otherwise (and I have a very healthy appetite). The fish special entree was also great. Hubby had pierogi appetizer. Also enough for dinner. Pierogies are very filling anyway. There were four that were smothered with the best caramelized onions. Service was very good. I am glad I went back again after all these years.

This was our fourth dinner at Gervasi Bistro and we will keep coming back! What a gem.
The food is always excellent, and the service was great. Always a wonderful, romantic date night and great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Beautiful, rustic restaurant overlooking lake and attractive grounds.
Extensive wine selection. Food ranged from excellent to sub-par.
The villas for an overnight stay and the entire complex is awesome.
The wine tasting at Crush House is well done. We will definitely
visit again, but change up some menu choices. For as fantastic as the villas and
complex is, the food is hit or miss.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and had a wonderful meal. My only negative here is it is a bit pricy, so I wouldn't say it's a great value. We were expecting a little expensive, but not that much. Very good ambiance, service, and food though.

Warm greeting upon entering and hostess acknowledged our anniversary. We were seated at a table by the window what a beautiful view. We ordered the Beef Mushroom Vol au Vent as an appetizer. WOW!! Loved the braised beed in the garlic cream sauce!! My husband had the strip steak with mashed potatoes and a horseradish sauce and I had the chef's special(filet mignon) with asparagus and baby carrots. Both meals were prepared exactly as ordered! The food was outstanding and service was good although our server was a bit cold and aloof.

our waitress was amazing, extremely thorough, explained exactly what she was doing. our food was absolutely incredible, unlike any food I've had. I'm super picky but this place has it all! a little pricy for steak. however, I felt the seafood pasta was a good value.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Gervasi Vineyards, and enjoyed everything about the experience. From the winery tour and tasting with food pairings, to the grounds we enjoyed walking with a glass of our favorite wine in hand, to the incredible dinner in the Bistro that capped our evening, we had an evening to remember. The entrees were outstanding--the short ribs are a favorite for a good reason, very tender and flavorful. And although we were too full to order dessert, we were surprised with vanilla bean gelato served on a plate scribed in chocolate with "Happy Anniversay." No details are spared- we will definitely be back.

Food was so overpriced it was embarrassing, appetizer was decent but I ordered filet Mingon which cost 50$ and I've had a better dish and steak at the roadhouse. My husband had a seafood dish and stated it wasn't even red lobster worthy. Our waiter was funny, and he was prompt, but was unpleasant when a friend who dined with us pointed out the pizza she ordered had the incorrect toppings. Wine was excellent but I was so overly disappointed in the food and how bland and tasteless is it was. I love wine tasting but after the bill and disappointment my husband said we will most likely never return whether for pleasure or business.

Second time here and will keep coming back. Wine was great, food was awesome and service was exceptional. A little pricey but well worth it. The atmosphere is very friendly and views spectacular. I've already recommended Gervasi to friends.

I met my family at The Bistro to have a nice Sunday Lunch together. The food was amazing, the ambience was great, and the rustic charm would bring me back. My only complaint was that unfortunately it was chilly out so the patio wasn't open (but that was mother nature's fault, nothing against Gervasi).
We even enjoyed the market and got a few bottles of their wine.
