Texas de Brazil - San Antonio Ratings and Reviews
The salad/soup bar was very good and offered a lot of choice, including lobster bisque (even though there was no lobster in the bisque). The actual meal was okay. Most of the meat was very over seasoned and very salty. I found myself cutting (or trying to) the inner portions so as to avoid the seasoning. I wasn't impressed with the meats too much. My wife and guest ordered house drinks and they were pretty well served but also overpriced in my opinion. I guess I just expected a lot more for what I paid. They do offer valet service which was great and convenient.
We enjoyed the variety of food and beef being offered. The tastes and accommodation of the degree of cooked meat was outstanding. The only issue was the speed they wanted to serve you the meal and cocktails which was disappointing. We wanted a leisure experience the waitress was rushing the drinks and the main course to quickly, even after she was informed we wanted to enjoy the meal. I believe they were trying to turn the tables as fast as possible.
Absolutely perfect in every way! My wife and I decided on Texas de Brazil for dinner during our date night celebrating or 19-year anniversary and we had an excellent experience. Believe me, after being married this long, it's high praise that dinner at Texas de Brazil was no-brainer decision.
We love to eat at Churrascarias whenever we are in a major city that has one, but Texas de Brazil is our favorite. The manager was a Brazilian lady and she made our caipirinhas herself and they were outstanding. An added bonus at this San Antonio location was the flying acrobatic show that was put on by the adorable hostess in the floor to ceiling wine cellar ... it was fantastic!! Will definitely go again when in San Antonio and recommend to everyone!
Pretty bad experience all my meat was constantly over cooked even after complaining. Then there was no comp for not being satisfied. Ended up feeling like we wasted $100 for an anniversary dinner we couldn't enjoy. 1st time I went to Restaraunt where it was known that we were celebrating and not even offered a free desert or anything. Think I'll stick with Fogo de Choa or Chama
It was our first time at this restaurant and we enjoyed our dinner at Texas de Brazil very much. The food was excellent and the service superb. We arrived for an early dinner so the ambiance was very nice and quiet. However, before we left, they became quite busy so the noise level was higher. We also enjoyed watching the trapeze artist perform from within the wine grotto. We'll definitely go back again.
Worst waitress I can remember. Never stopped talking, told us her life story, her kids' life stories, her political views, why she did what she did, why we should listen to her, etc., etc., on and on, ad infinitum. And while one certainly likes a server to be attentive, she never left us alone for more than a minute or two. Constantly hovering, all while drowning us with her endless, incessantly drivel. We were there for my girlfriend's birthday and had her son dining with us. We all agree this woman ruined the evening. The food was wonderful, but I can't recommend this place for fear someone I know will get this horrendous waitress serving their table.
Service was awesome and relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter, can by at the right times and made sure we got the meat selection we wanted and kept the glasses full.
The food was excellent, as always. While my grandson dined on the lamb, I enjoyed the flank steak. It has a great spiciness to it that kept me wanting more. The salad bar also kept me heading back. It's minor, but the coffee was just lukewarm. The whole family even said on the way out it was there favorite restaurant KUDOS!!
Service was awesome! Our waiter, Dennis came by at the right times and made sure we got the meat selection we wanted and kept the glasses full.
The food was excellent, as always. While my wife dined on the lamb, I enjoined the flank steak. It had a great spiciness to it that kept me wanting more. The salad bar also kept me heading back. My one complaint was they did not have the mushrooms there, which I love. It's minor, so it's not the thing to keep me away.
My wife even said on the way out that it was her new favorite restaurant. Kudos!
