Texas de Brazil - Memphis Ratings and Reviews
Our server was amazing! He was knowledgeable about all the meat cuts and he suggested a great salad bar dish that we both agreed tasted delectable. My honey normally tries to recreate restaurant dishes at home but the food was so delicious that he refuses to even attempt to emulate! We will definitely return on our next visit to Memphis.
This was the first time we had visited and it was the best restaurant experience we have ever had. Nick, our waiter, was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We never had to ask for anything, he was always taking care of us. We will be back.
Our entire group enjoyed the service and food. We arrived at the time of our reservation and were promptly greeted and seated at our table. 2 of the 6 in our group had not been to a Texas de Brazil before but committed to returning. All of the associates working at the restaurant were friendly and provided great service. We have no complaints. The food was delicious.
Overall it was a great dining experience. We will be back.
We have been there several times. This time we brought our best friends and not only our best friends but the Pastor of our Church, for Pastor Appreciation Day. They just loved it. They had never been to such a place. They love the atmosphere. The service was great.
going to this restaurant was on my bucket list, I can check mark it, however, I feel that the price for the food is a little high, no one can eat $50 worth of meat, however the experience was worth it, I don't think I will ever go back as the price is so high
So, the actual meat service was delicious as usual, but the service and salad bar were problem areas on this visit. Everything tasted great in the salad bar, but it needed serious restocking, which isn't normal for Texas de Brazil because it's always stocked. I think they were just very busy and not prepared, which gets me to the service issue. It took about 25 minutes of wait time past our 7PM reservation, which is also unusual. Our waitress was very nice, but mostly paid attention to other tables and we had to seek water from other waiters, he clean plates from the salad bar, etc. Like I said, not the norm for Texas de Brazil, I'm just chalking it up to being super busy and not enough staff. Otherwise, food was amazing!
The food was great as usual, but our waiter was HORRIBLE! We were never even asked what we wanted for drinks. He just poured us water and left it at that (in wine glasses btw). He also never gave us the all so important card to turn on green or red, signaling to the servers if we wanted more food or not. Several times the servers passed us by because we didn't have any cards on the table. We had 2 new guests and they never got the usual.. have you ever been here before.. speech. I had to tell them how everything worked. Like I said, great food.. Horrible waiter.. Mike I believe was his name... not sure because he never told us!
Excellent as always. Wonderful selection of beef, lamb, pork, sausage and yes they do have chicken. I hear its good, but can't say that I got past the beef, lamb and pork. The service is always fantastic. If I had a complaint, and I really don't, the lobster bisque was a little too salty that night.
We celebrated our anniversary on September 26, 2017. The experience was great. A little pricey. The food was marvelous. Really enjoyed the small portions that enable us to try so many different varieties of meats. Loved, loved the salad station. And the lobster bisque was to die for. My wife wanted the carrot cake, but she just couldn't eat it then, so ,Clay, our waiter was kind enough to send it with us for her to have later. Will definitely be back and will recommend Texas-De-Brazil to our friends.
My family and I really enjoyed the dinner. We were using our last spots on our VIP card that was about to expire. I do have one gripe though; we came to eat there with the VIP card three times and all three times we asked for crème boule and they never had any. They said it was all gone by lunch that day.
That stinks !!
