About Tao Restaurant and Nightclub
Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 60,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi.
Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

Overall a very good experience, the service was excellent from the bar to table. Food was very good and overall for Vegas a pretty good value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with the exception of families. We also tried and enjoyed the specialty drinks

This place was amazing. Perfect ambiance, impeccable service, and delicious food. From start to finish we were blown away. I highly recommend the three course tasting experience. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Third visit. Always delicious with impeccable service! Didn't make a big deal about celebrating our anniversary of ten years, but mentioned it in conversation to our server and to our surprise, out came a deliciously delightful giant fortune cookie on the house! Very nice!

Service was awful. Waitress barely was responsive or pleasant and when I presented dining certificate from open table service only got worse and she seemed annoyed that we were using it. Food was ok, not worth price on menu, it's your basic chain restaurant, nothing more.

We made reservations for 9:30PM. We were told that it would take a moment to seat us. We went to the bar. 30 minutes later, we inquired about our reservations and were told "soon" and provided drink tickets for WELL drinks (not wine). At nearly 11:00PM we asked once more and were told that things were busy and that if we wanted, we could sit at the SUSHI BAR. The food was good, the server was fine, but the place was LOUD! The only thing they got right was the FORTUNE COOKIE CAKE DESSERT for my friend's birthday. We felt rushed and not at all appreciated. To make matters worse, after we left I received an email stating that our reservation was canceled. What a let down.

Our waitress was average at best. In the past I have always had phenomenal servers who were energetic and engaging. Ours wasn't. That was disappointing considering it was a special occasion and many at our table were first timers based on my recommendation.

Gorgeous restaurant. Absolutely heavenly starters, mains not as good. Beautiful birthday cake surprise.
Sadly got removed out of the restaurant before finishing our last drink because it was after closing. This was a shame given how much we had spent and how lovely the evening had been.

We asked twice to be moved as we did not like the placement of our tables. We ended up right by the bussing station and it was loud and watching the servers mess around and laugh, it became distracting. I was taking our employees out for a thank you dinner for a superb year and had one of our customers with us.

This was my third visit to your restaurant. I love your food and your wait staff is exceptional. This last time though we found the music so loud we could not communicate. I imagine when people come late and go to your nightclub, this is appropriate. We, however, were a group of local ladies who dine out on occasion just to catch up. It was impossible to hear each other. Perhaps you can recommend an area of your restaurant where it is not so loud.

Bar appeared understaffed. Had a really hard time getting our wine refilled (we ordered a bottle) and had to track down the bartenders or teach over the bar to grab the bottle ourselves. We understand being busy and are easy going, but this was a bit rough. I don't fault the bartenders they were trying their best - just outmanned. The food was excellent.

The food was good and service was fine. It was REALLY loud and crowded, so it's not a great place for an intimate dining experience. If you are just two people on a date, know that you will be seated VERY close to other tables in a crowded area. But it is a fun ambiance - well decorated and the live DJ was a fun touch.

The food was good, the service was okay. The noise level was off the charts. My wife and I could barely hear one another, the waiter was struggling to keep up. With that being said, there was a convention in town and the place was packed for a weeknight.

Tao restaurant first caught my eye for it amazing decor. It is inviting and draws you in. The food although pricey was good. You did not feel rushed even though they were very busy. You have to order each thing separately so the bill adds up. I would still return the next time I am in Las Vegas

Food at Tao is always pretty on point. Last time I was here I had the best server ever. This past time I was there I had some of the worst service. We were out of water for 10 or more minutes before the server walked by and I had to grab his attention. It was very disappointing. It was also much less crowded this past time especially for such a big weekend.
