Service was good until after we had been served, then we couldn't even get the plates cleared from the table - all servers focused on the later arriving customers or what appeared to be returning customers they knew. Food was good, but could have been better. Had the service of been more attentive, we likely would have stayed for desserts, but we were all very put off by the lack of anyone showing any attention to us as we sat there with obviously empty plates in front of us!

Filet mignon with bernaise and topped with mushrooms was glorious. Fish special was also excellent - my lady could not finish so I helped out. French bread was awesome. Good wine options - both bottle and on tap. Salads also excellent. A bit noisy. I suspect brunch would be amazing given Brennan family reputation

This place is really lovely. It is open and airy which is nice as some restaurants are dark and stuffy. The food was excellent-- very creative and fresh. The sauces were fantastic. The best bernaise I've ever had on top of a perfectly cooked filet. Others had grilled shrimp with grits and were very happy. Fabulous desserts and nice wine list. The service was excellent-- friendly but attentive. Not hovering. All in all I highly recommend!!!

We went to Brennens when here (3 times/yr) for grillades & grits before the closing. Since reopening they are not good. They are the best we have ever had and we shall return. Aiso gumbo & crab claws were very good .

We visited for Sunday brunch and enjoyed the BBQ shrimp and grits, eggs hussarde, the special soup, turtle soup, crime brûlée and banana pudding deserts. All were very good if not exceptional. Too bad that they did not offer shrimp sardou like Brennan's formerly offered. Service was excellent. I wish they had a jazz ensemble playing during brunch. Great location and we walked right in after attending Mass at the cathedral. We will definitely return.

Beautiful Sunday morning brunch for our anniversary on the balcony with the best view in the city overlooking Jackson Square and all the artists, vendors and street entertainers. The jazz trio played right next to us at first, but then made their way around the restaurant. Not too loud, just perfect for an extra touch of New Orleans while we enjoyed the view and our morning beverages. I'd been craving the marinated crab claws so we got those and also the shrimp remoulade. Both were delicious. I ordered the grits and veal grillades. My wife ordered the quiche du jour which I believe was crabmeat and mushroom. Both were cooked to perfection and didn't last long on our plates. We finished our meal just as the sun was rising behind the umbrella over our table. Probably couldn't have asked for a better way to start our Anniversary.

Wait staff was very friendly, but seemed a little harried at times. May have been short handed for a busy Saturday night as service was a bit slow. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. It was a lovely experience.

Outstanding service began the host/hostesses. Seated at a balcony table was definitely worth the experience. Great wait staff and bar tenders. We loved the food (Veal Ossobuco and Redfish).

Our group of five had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Tableau. The food was impeccable - which is difficult for a group of people where three dont eat gluten and one doesn't eat any meat except for fish. The cocktails were great (the bon ton and superstition were delicious), the redfish was perfectly cooked. None of us had heard of hot date skillet cake but it was amazing, as was the three layer chocolate torte (very light, not overly dense)

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food, however, a large party of young men were seated next to us and occasionally the conversation got very loud and included some profanity. Oddly, no one on the staff addressed this.

only mistake I made was that I thought upstairs restaurant was where I had attended large luncheon meetings. it was my own fault as I could have eaten downstairs instead of by the bar. Will know better next time.

Tableau is one of my new favorites. Definitely reflects the fabulous Brennan's name. Everything is so delicious, local, but unique as well. The servers and hostess/host staff are so very accommodating and very friendly. I love the Superstitious cocktail, and the Redfish is to die for. I am local, so I have tried the majority of restaurants in town, and this is a fabulous gem. When the weather is nice sit out on the balcony and overlook Jackson Square. It does not get better or more New Orleans than that!

Menu does not reflect local New Orleans although owned by a local family. I did not go there to have steak, lamb, etc..... wanted seafood and that was not on the menu. Food was good but not exceptional. Service so-so. Nice place but as reflected by the many reservation spots open on a weekend night needs a revamp in menu. Step it up!

The food was just marginal and inconsistent. I ordered the same dish I had there on another occasion, which was great, but this time, it was not good. The fish had a sweet sauce that I scrapped off. The wait staff was slow and unfriendly.
Will only go there again kicking and screaming.

The meal that we had prior to going to Le Petit to see Pippin was excellent. One of us had a Pre-Theater meal with three courses; the Redfish and the appetizer and dessert with it were excellent, as was the Shrimp and Grits. Also, the Pompano daily special was very good, although the "dill" sauce was not our favorite. The bourbon drinks were very good. The salad that came with lump crabmeat, shrimp and asparagus was particularly noteworthy.

My wife requested the duck to be cook rare and it was! I enjoyed a wonderful swordfish that too was prepared perfectly. The wine list is most serviceable to all.
Our first server was Jess who we found delightful. She was then assisted by two others ensuring all our needs were met.
We truly enjoyed our meal.

First time here and we will definitely be back. Gluten free options were numerous and loved the open kitchen. Service was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable about menu and wines. Even though right at Jackson Square inside was very quiet or you can get a table on balcony and enjoy the ambiance of New Orleans.
