SUSHISAMBA Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Been here several times over the years as well as the one in NYC. Consistently a great Japanese meal, food is super fresh, innovative, and delicious. The Vegas establishment has a nice vibe to it, though the lighting can be a bit challenged to read the menu but with cell phones now, it is manageable. While the cost with a couple of drinks works out to about $75/pp, it's still a great meal. Most of the items with the Brazilian flair are moderately priced but the sushi costs are high, even relative to NYC (eg, $6-7 per piece vs. getting 2 pieces for $7-8 in NYC). Will continue to come back.
One word, delicious. You are missing out of you don't try. They have several exceptional dishes, it's best not to order and have the waiter create a 4 course meal. Chilean sea bass out of this world, A-Grade sushi, plantains, sake, you can't go wrong. Out on business, my client was very impressed. Excellent service and food.
Food is outstanding, service was professional, but slightly slow due to lunch rush. Weird video images being projected on the wall during lunch service was confusing. Open space & hard floors create a very noisy enviroment that make business discussions difficult to hear.
One of favorite places at the Venetian. Very energetic place with a blend of japanese and Brazilian cuisine. Excellent sushi, and for those who don't partake in sushi, I r3commend the new York strip. Comes out sliced with dipping sauces. The steak is perfect without the sauces...which is how i prefer it.
I have spent $30 to $200.00 on a Filet Mignon, I could not believe the 2" by 2" Filet for $36.00.
It came ala carte with a pretty flower to help fill a large plate! Ridiculous! You have to order your sides separately and they were large enough to feed several people but we were not advised on that so we each ordered an expensive side and ended up throwing most of it out. I will never eat there again. A lot of hype without the satisfaction of getting a great expensive meal!
My girlfriend and I love this restaurant as it never disappoints! Normally we go for a quiet Monday lunch but this time it was packed but the service was still solid, the food came out without delay and everything tasted phenomenal!
Expensive meal but if you can lose $200 at the blackjack tables save it and go here instead!
Always our first meal in Vegas!
We were greeted and seated promptly in a busy dining room . The ambiance is interesting, fun, and not too noisy for chatting. Our table ordered a number of selections and were treated to prompt, attentive, and friendly service throughout. Love this restaurant every time I’m in Las Vegas!
Great food, attentive wait staff, allergy friendly. We had an early pre show dinner and had a wonderful meal. The Sea Bass cooked on the Robata grill was some of the best fish I’ve ever had. We were with our kids aged 11 and 14 and were pleased to be sat in the more quiet back room. Our waiter was wonderful and very helpful with the kids (they have a good kids menu) and with my multiple food allergies. Whenever a food item was delivered the staff, not just our waiter, came with a reminder of which dishes I could eat. Can’t wait to go back!
This is our third visit to Sushi Samba, and again was uniformly a great experience. We ordered directly from the menu with some favorites and also tried some new items. Also a note that we had the same server, Carmine, who once again provided superb service. Overall, I would still highly recommend the Wagyu Beef Gyoza and Chilean Sea Bass. See my prior review for more details, but in summary great place for food, but remember this is Vegas and can be pricey and a lively environment.
