SUSHISAMBA Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We really enjoyed our dinner at SushiSamba. It is delicious and we were able to try many delicious foods that we would not have necessarily picked out ourselves. This is our second time going when we have been on a work trip and we will definitely be back in the future.
Food was great , second time there doing tasting menu however I felt our service was not upto par. The waiter was just not attentive and even after reporting an allergy he brought dessert with that ingredient with only a oh sorry . He didn’t even try rectifying the error . It’s a good thing it isn’t a life threatening allergy. Handled poorly
We had a reservation, however, we had to wait for 30 min. Then when they took us in we were walked to the back of the restaurant where there were lots of open tables. It seemed like they did not have enough staff. The food was salty. Service was spotty. Waiter tried to sell us the chefs plate which was $60 plus a person. Over all there are a lot of other places to go to.
great food, especially the ceviche, scallops, and beef. the sushi was good, but nothing outstanding. would definitely recommend it, and return myself. only hitch was that they lost my reservation, even though they called me and confirmed earlier that day! my guests arrived 15 mins early, and were actually told to go away since they had no reservation for us! turns out that the couldn't find it because they erroneously moved it to a slot 15 mins before, which they should have easily discovered.
Sushi Samba is located at the back of the Venetian Shoppes so a minor stroll from the strip entrance. The food was authentic (I lived in Japan and this was the real deal). The restaurant is lively but not too loud. Service was excellent. You do not go here for a cheap meal. Plan on a minimum of $50/head for food (7 pc nigiri and edamame). While pricey, pretty average for upscale on the strip. Highly recommend.
Our first visit to the restaurant. Waiter made great suggestions. The food was well prepared and the taste was unique and really great. Service was excellent. Great place for a late night lite dinner. Sea Bass, Shrimp and Teriyaki Chicken were all top notch and we’ve been to a lot of restaurants. We would definitely make a return visit
As the name suggests this restaurant offers a great selection of dishes from Asia and South America. We covered the spectrum with extraordinary sushi (samba strip) and wagyu beef dunplings and Moqueca Mista.
We also shared a wonderful coffee/chocolate blend dessert.
Haven't been in several years – forgot how much I love this place. Our server, Paula, was fantastic. Perfect balance of personality, in-depth knowledge of wine list and menu items to ensure an outstanding experience. Menu expansive enough to provide ample options without being overwhelming.
Started with shishito peppers and edamame – both simply prepared and lovely. I had the sea bass anticuchos – out of this world.
Can't wait to go back there on my next visit!
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Sushi Samba has been my worst restaurant in America so far. Music was loud, too loud, food was too complicated, sushi wasn’t good quality. And the worst has been the waitress trying to sell us a dish all night that appeared as 39 on the menu and ended up costing 190 dollars. This were slices of beef on a rock which will make you smoky.. a dissaster.. so we paid a fortune for something that I wouldn’t have gotten for free. I will never ever go there again and I will strongly recommend others to don’t go to that trap by all means
Second visit. Our waitress offered to build our menu. Dumplings, shrimp tacos, seared tuna, peruvian steak bowl, chilean sea bass skewers, salmon sashimi, 3 assorted sushi rolls, and japanese chocolate filled donuts with ice cream and peruvian coffee. Everything was excellent!
