Spotted Dog Cafe Ratings and Reviews
We took a break from our RV road trip for nice meal out that I didn't have to cook. Having read the reviews, hubby and I decided that the lamb shank and stout-braised boneless beef rib were just what we wanted. We shared those two plates plus a creme brûlée and a half bottle of merlot. We were seated in the back room with the fireplace, which was quieter than the rest of the building. Seating was also available outside, but we were already chilly and we observed other parties relocating. Ours was a 7:45 reservation.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner as a family. We were happy that we made a reservation and we ate in the back dining room that had a beautiful, open ambiance with a mountain view. The wait staff were all very courteous and provided wonderful service. The stout braised ribs were absolutely amazing as was the lamb shank. After such delicious main meals, we still managed to select a delicious dessert from their dessert selection. We will continue to enjoy this restaurant every time we return to Zion.
Great find in the canyon! Service was outstanding. The pasta purses were unique, but delicious. My husband had the southwest chicken which was tender and delicious! The waitress recommended the brownie layered cake for dessert. It was warm and absolutely amazing! The wine list is extensive. If I ever visit Springdale again, I would go back.
It was our last of three nights at ZNP. We had hiked 10 miles this day and were ready for a memorable meal before getting a good night's rest and heading home. We both had the greens and beet salad followed by pasta / chicken & NY strip steak. All cooked properly with a reasonably priced bottle of Sav and a lava cake dessert to split. The prefect end of a perfect trip. The service was excellent from start to end and the views of Zion exceptional. We would highly recommend this for a variety of occasions.
Wonderful restaurant!! The food was excellent. I am a stickler to my steak cooked the way I want.. medium rare. It was perfect!! My wife ordered the trout and completely loved it. The service was great. Anna our server is an asset to this restaurant, she was gorgeous inside and out and knew everything about the food. Yes we loved it.
We are staying at the Flanigans Inn located on the same property so walking to dinner was nice. I had the filet that was prepared perfectly and my daughter had the lamb shank which was also spectacular. The portions are on the large side. Dessert selection was great, we had the cream Brule which did not disappoint. We will definately return. The wine list is huge and a good many are available by the glass.
The food was good and our waitress was very knowledgeable. We were disappointed in where we were seated. There is a main dining room with a fireplace that is a much nicer space. We were seated near the door to the kitchen. Not much ambiance, considering I made the reservations over a month ago.
Spotted Dog Café was a great ending to a wonderful week in Springdale, Utah and Zion National Park! The food was very yummy. The Pasta Purses with pear and ricotta cheese, sage butter sauce with slivered almonds was DELICIOUS!
It was funny watching the lovely waiter look at her reflection in the window next to our table as she explained the menu!🤗
Met with 2 people from Pittsburgh. I'd worked with one of them but had never met. This was an opportunity to met her and her spouse and to share our part of the county with them. They absolutely loved Zion and the Spotted Dog. They came back to the restaurant for another meal before they left. They will be back and will share their experience with others in Pittsburgh. Thanks for making their visit special.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Zion. We dined at Spotted Dog our second night at Zion and we enjoyed it so much that we spent another evening there! The food was fabulous and the staff very attentive. The amazing food was very reasonably priced - another plus. Highly recommended!
