Fabulous service and food. Sat at the corner of the bar and enjoyed watching the chef prepare our food. We had the chicken liver moose , enough for four and the crispy squash blossoms. Out of this world. We will be back. More

Excellent in all respects except we ordered too much food. We didn't need the 4 to 6 dishes recommended. Three plus dessert and the bread would have been just fine. Great place. Will return soon. More

With a name representative of a mythical Japanese multi-species beast, NUE aims to serve a harmonious combination of cuisines from around the world. The founders of NUE have been avid travelers and desired to bring the tastes they experienced during their trips abroad home to Seattle. NUE's creative approach to their menu ensure that, while menu items may change frequently throughout the year, their dishes will always be innovative and delicious.

A top favorite on NUE's menu is the Trinidad Goat Curry. The fresh, tender meat is slow roasted and seasoned with Caribbean herbs and spices. The dish is complete with a helping of pineapple cornbread. Another top hit is the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, which is served with black bean dirty rice.

Uncle Mike's BBQUncle Mike's BBQ
Barbecue | Georgetown, Seattle

Offering the best BBQ (pork, beef, chicken, & tofu)

Uncle Mike`s Barbecue grew out of a long family tradition of gathering folks together to share barbecued ribs and sides that were two days in the making. This same family tradition extended into serving food to neighbors and traveling entertainers such as Ray Charles and the Chi-Lites during the 1950`s and 60`s when Jim Crow in Seattle segregated restaurants. It is an honor to serve all our customers today good food with respect and dignity. The menu reflects what Uncle Mike and his family and friends like to eat best. This includes the vegetarian members of the family. The BBQ tofu and mushrooms hold the hickory smoke flavor as well or better than some of the meats. And of course, dessert cannot be forgotten. The best sweet potato pie in Seattle is found right here. This is real barbecue, not fast food. The best way to enjoy it is in the welcoming, homey atmosphere of Uncle Mike`s. You`ll become a part of the family, too.More

as part of the huxley wallace collective, vestal is the home of sorts for chef joshua henderson. the restaurant is centered around a vast chef’s counter surrounding a wood-fired hearth. the menu is inspired by the rich ingredients and seasons of the northwest, and evokes the food that josh loves and has been inspired by. we are just as passionate about where our food comes from as how it’s served to you. by sourcing the region’s best ingredients and by bringing the kitchen out to you, we aim to create closer connections with our guests and the relationships we all have with the food we eat. when we come together to eat around a table, good things happen.More
