About Scarpetta - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
An earthy yet sophisticated approach to Italian cuisine, Scarpetta was created by award-winning chef Scott Conant and features a soulful menu of seasonally-inspired fare. An Italian expression that means “little shoe”, or the shape bread takes when used to soak up a dish, Scarpetta represents the pure pleasure of savoring a meal down to the very last taste. Try a signature dish such as Sicilian-Spiced Duck Breast, Seared Sea Scallops with Sunchokes or Spaghetti with Tomato and Basil.

This was our third time at Scarpetta, and as before they did not disappoint. The food is rich and flavorful. Cooked to perfection, & the presentation makes this one of the best dinning experiences you'll ever have.

I was so impressed with this restaurant!! The food was phenomenal. Excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. I would Definetly come back. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Las Vegas but this was the best so far.

This was my third time there and they were absolutely amazing. Fresh made pasta on site. Over looking the waters at the Bellagio. Very helpful and friendly staff. I always try to come here on every visit to Las Vegas.

I dined here on a Sunday night and it was still very busy, so I would highly recommend making a reservation. I ordered the much-raved about spaghetti, while my bf had the ravioli with sheep's milk. The spaghetti was good but it really wasn't worth $24. The pasta was more on the undercooked side than the "al dente" side, although I don't regret ordering it. I needed to satisfy my curiosity and taste this spaghetti for myself. The ravioli was very good: not overstuffed so that you're just eating soft cheese, but just enough. We also ordered a side of mushrooms, which turned out to be bland and undersalted. To give Scarpetta credit, they did give a ton of mushrooms, but it sucks when the mushrooms don't taste very good.
For dessert we had the corn cake, which turned out to be three cubes of fried corn meal. There was a slightly crispy, sugary coating on the outside and a soft polenta-like texture on the inside. At first it just tasted like beignets but the taste really started to grow on me when I ate it with the chocolate sauce, ice cream, and caramel popcorn that it was served with.
Overall, if you're looking to make a good first-date impression, or are coming here for a special occasion, I would recommend this place. This is one of those try-it-once-to-experience-it-and-then-eat-somewhere-with-better-value places. The ambience is very swanky and sexy. (You will definitely feel out of place if you dine here in jeans and a t-shirt.)

Service and food were both top notch! We made reservations to celebrate our anniversary and we were definitely not disappointed. They sat us with a view of the Bellagio fountains; couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. We will definitely come back to eat here when we're back in Vegas.

Beautiful experience all around. Wait staff was attentive without pretense.
Our party of four had the tasting menu and found it filling, unique and delicious.
Only complaint was the lack of wardrobe enforcement. I witnessed several people wearing very casual street clothes. One guy came in wearing cargo shorts, flip flops and a tropical shirt. Some women were wearing jean shorts and tank tops.

Where do I start? We had high expectations of this restaurant and it did not fail. Celebrating a birthday dinner for myself with my husband. The service was fantastic and the sommelier, Mark made a perfect suggestion for the wine. They had an extensive wine list so it was hard to choose. The food was also exceptional in both quality and taste. My husband had the seafood pasta dish and I chose the halibut. Both were over the top good. The icing on the cake were the views we had from our table and our waiter brought a nice little birthday cookie selection. All in all I would say it was a perfect night.

Scoured many menus for our final night in Vegas and decided on Scarpetta. I had been dying to go to the Cosmo and experience what I thought was a fine place. Scarpetta was probably one of the worst dining experiences of my life. We had a 9:30 reservation after seeing a show (Baz - also weird - do not recommend) and we were seated immediately. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even brought us water! I had to ask the waiter for it. Started off on that note and put a sour mood on the place. Food was so-so. Go somewhere else, don't waste your time. I would highly recommend CUT at the Palazzo.

Consistently delicious and with fantastic service!! We had a flight to catch and the food arrived at lightning speed. I often dream about that spaghetti, and am thankful we were able to fit a quick dinner in before heading home.

It was one of the most romatic restaurants my wife and I have been to in Vegas. Everything was great , especially the food and service. I would recommend getting a table with a view , as you can see the bellagio fountains , amazing.

My wife and I were in Vegas for a long weekend and were craving Italian. Luck for us, Scarpetta came up on a search. A bit dark, but a nice quiet restaurant. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The pices were a bit high, but that can be true of most Strip restaurants in Vegas. As a bonus, we were seated next to the windows so we enjoyed the Bellagio fountains throughout our meal.

Fantastic restaurant, the staff always make or break it, and they were wonderfully attentive when we wanted them (Nuno and Jenny) and weren't in our face when we wanted to talk. Lovely food tasting menu, could have stayed for hours ...oh we did!

Requested seating with a view of the Bellagio fountains, giving us a fantastic view as we dined, service was outstanding, the food was very good along with great cocktails , will definitely dine here again the next time were in Vegas, comes well recommended from us.

Very nice food and service. However, I found the prices for wines too high. I understand that there are some wines which are exquisite but I also found wines which in other very nice restaurants cost half of your price.

The food was fabulous. Very well prepared and tasty. We also were served very quickly, as we wanted to make sure we were able to catch our after-dinner show, but I know others lingered over their meals and were not rushed in any way. The service also was top notch, and I also felt it was a very good value for the quality of food. I definitely would go back and/or encourage others to dine here.

The duck and foie gras ravioli, scallops, and duck entree were all good. Not a huge fan of the grain that came with the duck, but I guess that's the style of this dish. The service and chef were great, very accommodating.

My wife and I have been to Scarpetta twice now and each time we've been blown away by how delicious the food was. There are many restaurants in Vegas that have Chefs' names on the side. Scarpetta is one that does the name Scott Conant proud. Breathtaking food, incredible service, and a great dining room with views of the Bellagio fountains. Highly recommended.

I first enjoyed Scarpettas at the Fontainbleu in Miami where everything was 5+ stars. The Scarpettas in Las Vegas was not as good but still visit worthy
Best dish in my opinion was the spaghetti with tomato basil sauce which is billed as an appetizer but can be a meal portion. I also had a chicken dish which seemed heavy on the salt. My friend had trout which he throughly enjoyed
Had a drink that was similar to a Moscow mule but it tasted bitter to me, so much so that I drank only half
The service was excellent and our wait staff was pleasant and eager to please
All in all a good experience but not great.

Having been to the extraordinary Scarpetta in Manhattan and the restaurant in LA, I was a little disappointed by the food and by the wait help at the Cosmopolitan location. The experience was good but not what I was hoping for.

I was in Las Vegas for the weekend in September 2016. I was looking for a great restaurant with excellent food and a nice view. Instead I got a restaurant with an Excellent view and Ok food. Reservation was for 6pm and we were seated by 6:05, which was great. Got a great window table overlooking the Bellagio fountain which was awesome. Ordered some appetizers and entrees which were all very average nothing really stood out. For $250.00 (without wine) a Scott Conant restaurant was really disappointing.
