Food was good, consistent from when they first opened. Service has decreased tremendously from first opening. Long wait between courses and dirty plates not cleaned between courses until next course came. Never received coffee even though order before desert came. Disappointing.

meal started with good amuse bouches. all of the other dishes that I tried had interesting flavors, but overall execution was not great. as an example, the fried chicken had a nice spicy kick but had too much breading and was fried for too long, leaving big chunks of rock-hard breading. the pasta dish tasted good as well, but the noodles were just a bit overcooked in my opinion.

Our dinner was fine except for one major mistake on the part of Sbraga. One person in our group explicitly told the server that he was allergic to walnuts. The server said that there were no walnuts in the dishes he ordered though there are pecans on the cheese plate. Contrary to what he was told, they were walnuts, not pecans, which he learned only after eating one. While the restaurant was apologetic, they provided no compensation and, more to the point, a good restaurant (much less one engaged in fine dining) does not make that kind of serious error.

It was OK, but not fun. Everything felt like a "cookie cutter" experience. The food was pretty good, the service was way too attentive. The restaurant was about 1/4 full which explains the service being so attentive. It just didn't have a great vibe. The food was fine. I really liked the popover and the fois gras soup. But other things didn't jump off the plate. The octopus, for example, was amazingly tender but the sauce was so spicy that it overpowered the octopus. It was way too expensive for the quality of our experience.

Dining here was an amazing experience for my wife and I. The food was incredible and different than anything we've ever had before. Our waiter was very nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent meal. Sbraga itself was a beautiful place to dine. We will definitely be coming back and telling all of our friends how great it was!

Great food and service. Soup came lukewarm but I think it like it better than if it was hot.
Loved the crudo and the rabbit pasta dish.
Sat in window so nice ambiance.
Would certainly return.
Was hoping to see Chef Sbraga for some info for him on a classmate of his but CUBA called!!

This was absolutely delicious and ranks among my most favorite meals. They have a tasting menu and pre fix pricing for a 4 course meal. Everything was so tasty and I love that the portion sizes were just Right... I don't like huge portions. I spent a smidge extra to get the spaghetti with King Crab, and boy was it worth it. Great cocktails to start, great wine menu, and easy, friendly yet sophisticated service. I must get back to Philadelphia to go again soon!!

It was wonderful as always. The server was very friendly and professional, but hasn't grown into the most experienced server yet. She did show very good knowledge of the wind and the food. All things considered, I should've gone for the lamb instead of the vegetarian entrée… LOL

Once again, Sbraga proved exceptional. The menu constantly evolves and our party of three tried the saffron risotto, the lamb loin, and the spicy fried chicken -- all new for us (and the new choices aren't limited to these). The wine list is intelligently selected and reflects a broad range of grapes and regions. The service staff is as good as it gets -- professional in every way and very skilled at maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.

Delicious! Was hoping to have a great meal from one of my favorite Top Chef's restaurants and wasn't let down. The layers of flavor for each course was fantastic. Really enjoyed the dinner and would be back again if I lived in Philadelphia.

Top-notch place -- excellent ambience, service, menu.
Sbraga offers a four-course prix fixe menu with a few neat extras -- a Gruyere popover and then foie gras soup -- and a wide variety of ingredients and tastes. The appetizers included hamachi crudo and capicola mousse on toast, both of which got the meal off to a great start and left us wondering about what great dishes would follow. Following was an outstanding, varied pasta course and then wonderfully fried chicken and sautéed octopus. Fun desserts punctuated the meal with an exclamation point. A peanut butter mousse with chocolate brownie bits and marshmallow helped the meal finish strong. Sbraga is touted as one of the best restaurants in the city -- tonight was further evidence as to why that is.

this was my second visit to Sbraga, the chef offers unique pairings and very interesting dishes. The portions are just right and with four courses, very much worth the $55. The ambience is lovely as well, and their waitstaff is outstandin.

We looked forward to this meal for weeks and were truly disappointed. The staff (hostess to bartender to waiter) were extremely snobby and the food mediocre. We chose the chefs tasting menu. Instead of receiving something unique we were served dishes from the regular menu. The dishes had flavor but were all very heavy and extremely filling. And of all the six courses we never enjoyed a vegetable. With so many amazing restaurants in Philadelphia right now we will not be planning to revisit Sbraga.

Food was delicious and fresh; drinks were pricey but excellent. Tables for 2 were very close together - at times felt like we were on a double date with the loud couple next to us. Overall, would go back again but only for a special occasion.
