Ruth's Chris Steak House - Fresno Ratings and Reviews
The food was outstanding as usual, this was our second time their for our anniversary and the waiter did ask if it was a special occasion and it was but they didn't do anything where as last time we got a free dessert. Their glass of wine (pour) was a bit stingy and we were seated next to a very noisy table.
We had a great experience this evening. My boyfriend had never been and we were celebrating his birthday. Our server Jordan was excellent at greeting us and making us feel welcome. Loved the recommended clam chowder and dinner to follow. Dessert was magical, definitely recommend the apple crumble cheesecake.
We had a very nice time. Cocktails were served in nice big glass's. Food was very hot and tasty . Comfortable setting , nice atmosphere and the staff was professional and friendly !!!
We will go back again for another "special occasion" , im sure.

It was wonderful to dine at a restaurant where customer service is so obviously valued. Our service was excellent from the moment we walked in the front door to the moment we left. Our food was delicious. A special thank you to our server, Aaron, who was friendly, knowledgeable and perfectly attentive.
This was our third time in the past two months dining at Ruth's Chris. Last time, I ordered my filet medium, and it came out well done. This time, I ordered medium rare, to avoid it being overdone, and it was rare. Struggling to have my steak done to order. My husband ordered the Grouper, and it was not particularly good. Additionally, they had run out of the fish listed on the special for their middle priced option. They charged him the highest priced option, even though they were the ones who ran out of the special. Seems they should have kept the price the same. Anyway, all of this to say we still really like this place, and will certainly go back.
The restaurant is pretty fancy, service is great, but steak is not as good as I imagined, I ordered a $55 steak entree, and I want it to be medium well cook, but the steak I got on my table is a half medium rare and half well done steak. It really disappointed me a bit, other than that, their side and appetizer is great.
I have always enjoyed the food and service at Ruth's Chris--I don't think that I have ever been disappointed in the quality of either. However, I believe that everything is overpriced by about 20%. It's nice to get good food and good service--and I am glad that we went--but I would be happy to make everything at home for far less than half of what it costs at Right's Chris.
Anniversary dinner; table had rose petals, menu and dessert plate had written congratulations. The staff all wished us well. Our meals were very nice. My wife had a ribeye steak, I had surf and turf. The only minor disappoints were the creamed spinach (to milky) and the Carmel cheesecake was underwhelming.
Overall, we were very pleased. We have been here a number of times and will return.
A typical Chain Restaurant that is for the most part one of the better Steakhouse chains. It is expensive and some nights the food is better than off nights but the food is always better than the average chain restaurant. The service is almost always better than most places and the night we were there it was excellent. The food was very good that night, better than the last time I was there. Overall everything was better than I expected.
We dine at Ruth's Chris for our family birthdays! This time, we had all our previous waiters, waitstaff greet us! It was incredible they remembered us -- we for sure remembered them: Andrew, Moses, and oh gosh I can't begin to pronounce his name, if spell it correctly- he is going to dental school and plays track and field. The quality of food sells itself, but the staff made our experience spectacular!
I'm happy to say that our 21st Wedding Anniversary celebration at Ruth's Chris was a success largely due to the excellent service from both the bar and the Restaurant. In addition, the food was outstanding. While my husband and I both normally enjoy a good Rib Eye, a few years ago someone told us about their cream filled fabulous Chicken Breast. I know it seems like a crime to go to an awesome steak place and have chicken, but, it is spectacular!!!
Great steaks and nice ambience at the Fresno Ruth's Chris. We went for dinner before seeing a musical, so needed to be dine on a schedule. Waiter Brandon and busboy Juan were outstanding servers who did a great job giving us a pleasant experience and helping us get out in a timely way. Very good experience.
Dinner for husbands birthday since he fell in love with the Tomahawk Steak in Maui for Father's Day thought of bringing him back. Tomahawk 40oz cooked to perfection came out sizzling which they do warn you, that the plate will be extremely hot. I had the filet bone in 16oz it came out slightly undercook from Medium to Medium Rare. The server was happy to take it back and give it another minute which was a perfect medium and it just melts in your mouth. The manager felt bad my filet wasn't cooked correctly the first time that he offered a free dessert on the house. We were so full that I had to take it to go. Overall was an excellent experience and would recommend this place for true steak lovers!
We arrived for my family's 40th anniversary and so surprised to see the table nicely decorated very nice. The waitress was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and have a great dinner. Needless to say the food was just fantastic and the atmosphere just great. The appetizer was quickly served and the champagne just kept coming. The food was just perfect and we can't wait to go back. We have reservations coming up for the Holliday's and are looking forward to yet again the complete Ruth's Chris experience.
