The buffet had something for everyone... I was in the mood for lunch items, so did not try out any of the breakfast options (they looked delish). There is no possible way to leave hungry - just too many options. We had a window table and were able to enjoy watching the boats come in and go out of the harbor. The dessert offerings were amazing and we sampled several. The Bellinis were tasty, and we had our fill of those as well. It was a nice touch that certain drinks were included in the buffet price, it made the price of the meal more realistic - I doubt either of us ate enough to justify the pricing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Atmosphere is great , but it stops there. They were understaffed the night I dined there. Had to wait 30 minutes for my drink because they were out of martini glasses. The raw sampler came with crab Louis- which was terrible. My server didn't acknowledge the slow service or the fact I didn't touch the dish. Wouldn't go back.

So glad we returned; we'd been about a year ago and brunch was frankly terrible. Our visitors had wanted to go back, and Rusty Scupper had returned. The food was delicious, and the band were good. The restaurant was very VERY loud, so much so that we had to leave, but we were full anyway. The only true complaint is that the harbor side of the restaurant was way too warm. I was glad I had a T shirt on underneath as I had to strip down to just that.

I enjoyed the ambiance; the live music was fantastic! The complimentary mimosas and Bellinis were great! The service was great. However, the food was just good, not great. I had mussels and they clearly hadn't been defeated, leaving them sandy. They were tough and ill-flavored as well. There were some bright spots though. The omelets are great, the fruit fresh, the asparagus was delicious...I'll try it again.

We took a weekend mini-vacation to Baltimore which happened to be Fleet week. The inner harbor was really hopping with loads of people. We were a little concerned about getting a table for dinner but were able to get an 8 PM table at the Rusty Scupper. We spent a little time before dinner walking around but ended up at the Rusty Scupper early. They took us right in and took us to one of the nicest tables in the restaurant with a front row view of the Harbor. It was almost magical. OK. Ambiance was awesome. Food - Why else come to Baltimore Maryland but for crab cakes. My wife and I had crab dip and crab cakes and both were top notch (and we sample loads of crab cakes so we kind of have a good understanding of what a good crab cake it). We highly recommend the Rusty Scupper and I have to also add that we had a family birthday party here for lunch in the past and it was awesome. Prices are a little high but it is worth it for those special moments.

The restaurant and staff did a great job of having my requested table ready and my dates flowers nicely arranged and waiting on the table. Our waiter was very classy with a nice sense of humor. Our table overlooked the harbor and city just as I requested. Great job.

We visited with my out of town in-laws who requested to come back to here after hosting our rehearsal dinner last year. I placed a request to have a table by the window since we were bringing them back again. We were given a nice table by the window and welcomed back. Additionally, service was excellent.
We would definitely recommend the Rusty Scupper. I would add, I would also strongly recommend for private events as well. Our rehearsal dinner last year was outstanding.

Thought the menu could be expanded to include more choices. The blackened sea bass wasn't really blackened it just had seasoning on it. My husband wanted bearnaise sauce for his filet mignon but it's not on the menu. It's in a great location right on the water and our table offered exceptional views. The waitress was very good and very friendly.

Great Place to go. Asked for a window table and they accommodated us. Food was great. Dessert Sampler was to die for - especially the sweet potato pie. (Made me a convert).
Service was excellent.
Just really nice people running a great restaurant with an excellent chef and cook staff.

Darnell my waiter was excellent and truly deserves a raise. He gives 1000% at all times. Also the black manager for the evening who told me that he started from the bottom up at this company was so impressive. Tiyana at the front desk was magnificent. She is new from California and had that California sunshine all in her as she greeted me.

The food was very good. They even gave me a piece of birithday cake . Our server Linee was just great. Edwardo Our chauffeur that shuttled us to and from the event was very courteous and professional. Everything was just great. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with crab cake on the side with mashed pototoes, it was scrumptous. We will definitely recommend and return when in the area. The view was breathtaking.

Very friendly and attentive service. Wide selection of seafood dishes -- very tasty. Great view of Inner Harbor.
One "glitch" -- when reservation was made on-line, we requested a table in their most quiet area. That did not happen -- seated under the PA speaker and "atop" a table of five on a lower level (immediately adjacent, only separated by a half-wall so there was barely a foot between us ant\d the other diners.) WE did see other tables more "isolated" and thus quieter.

The food was very good, but after a being seated, we waited a very long time for our appetizers and entrees. The server never updated us about why there was a wait.
Our reservation was for 730 pm but didn't sit down until about 750. We checked in but we were overlooked and others were sat down before us.
Overall the food was good, but the service was not. We left the restaurant at 1028 pm. That is 2 minutes shy of 3 hours. Way too long to be in a restaurant.

I had dinner at the Rusty Scupper with my husband and parents. My parents were in Baltimore from out of town so when choosing a restaurant I had two main criteria 1) Nice ambiance 2) Fresh seafood. The Rusty Scupper delivered on both fronts. I asked for a table directly near a floor-to-ceiling window and they honored my request. The ambiance was terrific with beautiful views of the harbor, live piano music and excellent, professional service. We ordered a mix of appetizers (calamari, mussels and oysters) and everything was fresh and delicious. Main courses were also very good. This isn't especially creative or innovative food but if you come for fresh fish and seafood you won't be disappointed. The only downside is that the prices are quite high, even for seafood, and you still have to pay for parking (they validate which decreases the price). Overall, a great experience!

We went to celebrate our friends 34th wedding anniversary. The appetizers were fine (we had 2 orders of the artichoke and crab dip, mussels and the shellfish appetizer) we had strawberry daiquiris and a strawberry colada and we weren't very impressed with the taste or size. The mashed potatoes and green beans were very salty so no one ate them. I had a Ceasar salad with shrimp. The 3 shrimp were dry and very small. I only ate one of them. The highlight was the bread and the conversation that we had with one another.

We had a fantastic waiter. Unfortunate the appetizer was not as described ... There was hardly ant crab or artichoke in the dip, the cod was mediocre. The bread and dipping sauce was delicious as was the cake. Definitely, not worth the money. Sorry.

My wife and I have dined at the Rusty Scupper on several different occasions and we have never been disappointed with the service or our dinners. We frequently get a table that has a fantastic view of the Inner Harbor. We had the same server twice (On September 30, 2016 and earlier this year). He was very attentive, professional, proficient and efficient on each occasion.
