This was the third time we were here, and each time was excellent. We really enjoyed our latest dinner. We shared the fried olives, meatball and mushroom pizzette. All were delicious. We each had pasta as the main course, and both were terrific, though a bit of a small portion. The lobster ravioli consisted of 8 raviolis. But that left room for dessert. The cheesecake was amazing.

The ambiance was lovely and it was easy to converse with my table of 6. The service was excellent but considering some of the portions were meant to be shared I did not find it a great value. Pasta arrived to the table cold as well which was unfortunate.

One of the best meals I've ever had in my life! Mama DePandi'a Spaghetti with the Truffle Garlic Bread was TO. DIE. FOR. Also had the airy donut-like dessert with Nutella dipping sauce and I would go back just for those! Wish I lived in Chicago to go often!

This is an updated version of the classic Italian restaurant that still has numerous house made dishes but also reflects the more modern day world. Son you can be old school with Burrata and Bucatini or update to big eye tuna bruschetta and branzino. Staff is very efficient and keeps the flow going food and quaff wise. Given tons of choices for places to dine in Chicago, was pleased with this recommendation. Felt food was great, affogato for dessert a fave, and enjoyed a classy establishment.

This is my second time here. We ordered garlic bread, prosciutto, grilled squid, spicy king crab spaghetti, lobster ravioli, and the crispy chicken for entrees. The food is very good for the price, the king crab spaghetti was especially tasty. The chicken however, does not have much flavor and is a little bit disappointing, though the dish size is huge (it's actually half a chicken, for $25). Since the pasta sizes are not very big (which is fair), I would recommend getting a pizza or more appetizer rather than going for the entrees: the chicken and the steak were both not worth it.
The waiter this time is new and a little bit slow in ordering and passing dishes, which made it a little bit awkward, but in general, the service is pretty okay.

We were really excited to try this place for dinner as it was highly recommended to us, but our server was very rude throughout the entire evening. My husband and I both ordered a medium steak and only one came out and it was extra rare. Our server made no attempt to correct it and seemed annoyed with us the entire time we were seated in his section. It ruined the entire experience and we would never go back.

Went to RPM for my wife and I's one year anniversary. The place was very nice and our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. The price wasn't bad for Chicago but was surprised a side of spaghetti to go with my Chicken Parmesan was $8 but overall it was a good experience!

We often go to dinner in the city from the suburbs and RPM Italian has never disappointed us.
The roast octopus is delicious and both the steaks and fish are done to order. Both the cocktail menu and the wine list are complete enough to satisfy most people. My only disclaimer is that if you are dining with a person hard of hearing the Chicago Fire Department across the street sometimes can add an interesting pause in conversation.

Started with a chopped salad. So overpowered by cilantro and texture made it inedible, and I love cilantro. Server didn't address the fact that it was almost untouched. Thought an offer of another option would have been nice. That said, husband's steak was excellent. Gnocchi was tasty and light.

This place was amazing! We had to wait 30 min for a table past our reservation time but clearly people know this is a good place to eat. Not your run of the mill US Italian restaurant flavors... Was with three other people and everyone liked their meal. Waiter was fabulous. Wouldn't recommend the broccolini though. Had a strange seasoning for some reason.

My only complaint was being seated 30 minutes after our reservation time--the restaurant was very busy! However, we were comp'd an appetizer (they offered--we didn't ask) to make up for the delay. Food and service were both excellent!
