I took my wife there for our 40th anniversary. Staff were super. Food was fantastic. The piano player was the best I have heard in a very long time. Views were great. The balance between service and privacy were perfect. Great ambiance and you can have a quite clearly never station with beautiful piano music in the background. Highly recommended.

Went for 25th wedding anniversary. Used to go here all the time and have been a couple of times since the name change. Other times were much better.
Wait staff was not what. I would expect for here. Two
Of us had the strip steak and it was so tough. If I had been in business or regular dinner I would have complained but since my 93 yr old father was paying I didn't want him to feel bad.

I was looking for a spot to take my wife for our 24th anniversary and upon seeing the view, I was sold on Rivue. The food was over the top good and huge portions, which I didn't expect. Our server and at least three other folks that worked there made a point to wish us happy anniversary. And while we were dining, a thunderstorm rolled in which being up high in a spinning mostly glass restaurant was pretty darn cool. They three in a free dessert which even though we were stuffed, was far too good to pass up. A great romantic choice.

The view of the downtown area was amazing. My waiter, Peter, delivered outstanding service. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the scallop dish, but felt my rack of lamb was too charred. Overall, the experience was great.

We went to Rivue wile staying at the Galt House for an anniversary weekend. The view was fabulous and my wife and I each had steaks of different cuts- both were outstanding. The service was great and at the right level. My wife and I had a special day and the dinner at the Rivue capped it off in style. The baby grand piano playing in the background was a nice touch.

Highlights are the view, service and above average food. Had a ribeye I couldn't finish because it was so big. Waiter was great. A little pricey, but fun experience. Wine list was relatively small, but the best Old Fashioned I've had in a long time.

My wife and I are from St. Louis, MO. We were out of town guest in your city. I must say this was one of the best restaurants we have dined in. You guys made my work easy. All I had to do was step off the elevator with my wife. I knew my work was done when she said, "WOW'. I thank you very much for a wonderful experience. Now I'm going to let my wife respond.
MY husband could not have picked the most AMAZING, PHENOMENAL, most ROMANTIC restaurant EVER, to spend our evening. I actually thought I was in dream that I wasn't ready to wake from. The sunset was just PERFECT. The entire view of the City was just so wonderful. I fell in Love all over again, looking into my husband's eyes across the table, just watching the entire view . I thank you so much for the best services that were given while we were there. This was THE BEST..LOVED IT.. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE EXPERIENCE AND SUCH SWEET MEMORIES.

Four of us made reservations at the Rivue for Friday evening. We were seated in the central area of the restaurant, and a couple of us had views of the cityscape. There is a better view available in other areas of the restaurant, however we made a late reservation and didn't expect an upgraded table. Very talented pianist provided music, and our servers, Olivia and Jasminka were very friendly and attentive. The wine menu was good, and the food menu very creative. The steak portions are huge. If you like a big cut of delicious beef, this is the place to go. Ideally if you get a couple of first courses, and split and entree, you will be very satisfied with the portions. Our entrees were prepared exceptionally well. I guess my only negatives, which are minimal in my opinion, and should not sway you from not trying out Rivue, is A) There seemed to be a lot of smoke in the dining area from the kitchen, making it hazy. B) The dining room was a bit noisy, but I think it was from a large group in the circular section. The circular section affords the best view, as well as 2-tops along the main walkway past the bar area.

A very enjoyable evening, with attentive wait persons, attractive food presentation and
nice bar selections. Always interesting to watch the changing scene as the restaurant
moves in the circular movement. Disappointing not to have the candy/dessert cart offered

Everything about the dining experience at Rivue met my group's expectations. The staff, service, drinks, food, scenic views and pricing was wonderful and exactly what I had heard from friends. Make sure to call ahead, even when placing a reservation online, to confirm and make sure you ask for a specific seating location.

This is an older generation of restaurants - reminds one of the 60's era - but the food is current and the revolving dinner space overlooking the city of Louisville and Ohio River is a special feature. The was a very good piano player the evening we were there - nice easy listening background sounds.
Food was fine - no issues - but it is not at the "foodie" new cuisine level. We will go back.

It was an enjoyable experience. Service was friendly and attentive. Thanks Carl for great service. The view was excellent and we were barely aware that the floor was revolving. The food was delicious and a generous proportion. The piano music was soothing, not too loud and the pianist was excellent.

I took my 8 year-old son for brunch this past Sunday and WOW! We both had such an amazing time! He was so excited and thrilled to see how the room "turned". He had never been to anything like this and it was such a delight watching him have an amazing experience. Then on top of the fun we were having - the food was AMAZING! We loved everything we tried - scrumpious! Especially the roasted peaches with ricotta cheese!
We will be back and we have already shared the good experience.

I normally take my customer for dinner, but last week was horrible. The table has a fake plant that has a small spider and web. The lamb of rack is quite chewy. My guests says the steak was ok. First I called they say they can't confirm the revolving table then I called again on the day of the dinner and said It should be fine. We arrive and we sat in the middle next to the entrance of the kitchen. Overall, not pleased. I have no desire to take any customer in this restaurant and looks like the management change, the service is different than before.

We were in Kentucky on business and made reservations at Rivue. Everything about the evening was perfect. There were 6 of us in our party and everyone enjoyed their selections. The waitress was awesome. We very much enjoyed the piano player and the view was gorgeous. Thanks for being a highlight on our trip!

We really enjoyed our romantic dining experience at Rivue. The service and food was great.Another great thing about it is the live piano player and the floor rotates so that you can see Louisville riverfront. We will definitely be back again.

Rivue is one of our favorite restaurants in Louisville. It is a "go-to" location for any special occasion and for those nights when we just want to pamper ourselves. We have found the service to be consistently outstanding. The menu is eclectic. There are some dishes that we don't care for, but there is always something to please everyone on the menu. The deserts could use a little work, but overall they are quite good. The seasonally adjusted cocktail menu is always interesting and always delicious.

Our experience was excellent. The food was supurb and the views were stunning. My only suggestion would be that the restaurant declare a dress code since some people seemed to be dressed real sloppy for such a nice place.

We came here for brunch for our anniversary. The food was awesome, especially for a buffet-style brunch. You would have thought each plate we brought back to our table was made-to-order. The variety was amazing; steak for me, quiche for my wife. We took our time and sampled most of the offerings. We left stuffed, but not too stuffed for a quick stroll around the garden that we'd seen from the rotating view we had during our brunch. There was live piano jazz as well. Perfect meal and atmosphere to celebrate 6 years married.

The view was very nice. I liked how the dining areas rotated while the serving area remained stationary. The food was a good mix of southern and fine dining. Peter (our waiter) was very cordial and attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance was lavish but you wouldn't feel out of place in shorts. I like that there is a lounge area so you can enjoy the view while waiting (there was no wait though).

I ate at Rivue 2 years ago and loved it. My sister (Baltimore, Md) and I (Granville, Ohio) ate here for her birthday on July 2, 2016. Views from the revolving restaurant were wonderful. Our drinks and food were exceptional. Our server was a peach. We especially enjoyed the chocolates at the end of the meal and the piano background music.
