Good restaurant but the food quality seems to have lessened over the last couple of years. Not a bad spot by any means - loved it the first time we went; perhaps the bar was just set high at our initial visit. Very friendly staff, nice ambience. Will visit again.
Good, but overcooked duck. And then service wasn’t the best - we sat with our dirty plates for awhile.
Food was very disappointing this time. The Bistro is definitely capable of better. The service was very good, efficient and friendly, as usual, and the atmosphere is terrific. It may just have been a bad night in the kitchen
The food here is consistently Good! The only complaint I'd have is . . . I want to try everything on the menu. Having said that, there are a couple of favorites that I just cannot resist and order often. Try the Duck Confit or the Beef Borgonion. Well, maybe not, you might get hooked like I have. Enjoy!
We were visiting Jackson for a few days and chose Rendevous for our last night. The restaurant was packed with locals and happy people. The food was excellent. I had the veal, very tender and delicious. My partner had the salmon and we both were very impressed with the size of the portion and the flavor. We will definitely eat at this restaurant again. Generous portions guaranteed we were full at the end of our meal.
As usual, Rendezvous Bistro gave us good service and good food. The good service was especially appreciated since the restaurant was very busy.
The ambience at Rendezvous Bistro is outstanding, it is a great place to see lots of friends out celebrating, and everyone seems to be happy. The only downside is that my veal marsala was served with very few mushrooms and my brussel sprouts were very skimpy on the bacon.
We were treated very well with acknowledgement of our (55th)anniversary!
Food was very good and our waiter was very friendly and competent in his service!
Enjoyed the evening !
The warm cozy atmosphere at the Bistro is very inviting. From the moment we sat down the wait staff provided us with friendly efficient service. We enjoyed refreshing Pomegranate Martini cocktails. The Monkfish and Duck entrees were deliciously prepared. We also enjoyed a tasty Brownie Bites Sundae dessert, which we easily shared. We highly recommend this restaurant!
We love to go to the Bistro, but the noise level makes it difficult to talk with friends at your table.
I went with 3 friends to Rendezvous on the recommendation of one of them who is a "Rendezvous Regular." The food was excellent, and a good value. The service, ambience, and the overall experience was excellent. We will return, and recommend Rendezvous to our friends.
Good food great price
Wasabe mashed potatoes and meatloaf both very good. Ginger soup very good.
Server mixed up a few items on our order and was inattentive. Food was ok, scallops best
Went to another Fine dining restaurant (The Kitchen) the following night and had a great experience
As usual, Rendezvous Bistro provided my family a fantastic, satisfying meal!
Excellent meals. Steak and chicken dinners. Great flavor. Excellent service.
We visit Jackson once or twice a year, and have patronized Rendezvous Bistro for many years (15?). The quality of food, service, and ambiance have been consistently excellent. We have never been disappointed, and the reservations have always been honored, even when the restaurant was bulging. It says something about a venue when one sees the same employees one year after another - happy employees = happy customers. If you're into fried chicken, 4 of 6 of us ordered the Mary's Fried Chicken and made it easy for the dishwashers by leaving no trace.
Always enjoy going to Rendezvous Bistro. Consistently good food, pleasant setting & friendly service.
Very nice ambience. Our waiter was one of the best have ever had. Food very good. Bottom line ...yes I would go back.
Loved the appetizers, but both of our entrées weren’t what we were expecting. I’m a meatloaf lover and this meatloaf was dry and oddly spicy. My husband’s short rib was good, but I guess the sauce is something I would never think to pair with short rib. Also, we always get creme brûlée whenever we can find it and the custard was awesome on point, but the center of the dish was over-charred. There’s browned sugar and there’s burnt sugar - it makes a huge difference. Our drinks were divine. Overall, we had a really nice time enjoying a meal together.
We go every year on our visit to Jackson Hole and found this year that the food was not up to our usual expectations.
Visit on Feb 14, 2018. Food was good - NY steak, tenderloin and chopped salad. Came in on time and as requested - medium rare for the meat. Deserts were also good. Only thing I did not like were the noise level - we could not hear each other; tables were too close to each other - so not even a "restaurant" type of privacy and the drinks - my coctail came in an "orange juice" glass mostly full of ice... where was the coctail? Other than that, service was good - the server was attentive given that it was very, very busy.
Excellent! Everything had a unique twist that was delicious!
Great place, good food, fair prices, nice variety on the menu.
All food was amazing and great service
Dinner in Feb.’18. Interesting menu - everyone in group (6) liked their meal. Great fun.
We had a group of 10 after a day skiing in Jackson Hole. The manager was very accommodating and brought out a little snack after we had to wait on our table for the reservation. We were bummed because they were out of a few items but we had a later reservation. The food and wine selection was great!
Fried chicken was dry and pretty tasteless. Potatoes were good. Service was average.
Love the Bistro....BUT....the sea bass, they served me, was NOT good.
I have eaten a lot of sea bass......what they served me must have been
some breed I've never seen.
Nice people but the food was bad. We left and ate again somewhere else.
Hey... it's been here forever. But while other dining establishments may have come (and some have gone), RB keeps doing an excellent job. A great and varied menu. Our whole party really loved it. If you have forgotten about the Bistro, it is time to rediscover.
My favorite restaurant in the area. Staff was fabulous and the food was delicious. Had a group of eight and everyone was very happy with their meal choice.
After coming to the Bistro for many years, we found the current menu and the food quite disappointing. Only one vegetarian option for the entrees, and the "daily special" has disappeared. The fried chicken was as good as ever, but the salad (artichoke hearts and feta cheese) and other entrees (duck confit, cod, and mac & cheese) were average at best. No pasta option on the entrée menu.
We had a "dinner for 2" gift certificate. I had scallops (nice sauce, fresh spinach) and Peter had Duck Confit (dry, not much taste, but red cabbage was good). We had calamari for an appetizer. You get a very large serving (would have done OK for 4) but I felt they were over-breaded. I guess what I dislike is the noise level. We got there at 5:30 so it took a while to fill up - but when we have been there at prime time the 2-person tables are so close together that you are a part of your neighbor's (usually silly or stupid) conversation. We are locals, and do not go to the Bistro more than 2x/yr. because of that.
Eric was awesome!!
We haven’t been here for several years but came back as we had a memorable dinner previously. Excellent cocktails. Solid wine selection. Food was impeccable and we had attentive service. We’ll return.
We live coming the Bistro and this trip was great too! My husband Always orders the meatloaf and it never disappoints. Oysters were fantastic too. And I must say, our waiter was great with the kids!
Monkfish was fabulous. Everything was wonderful from start to finish.
The service was attentive and kind. They had a really good vegan entree option.
