In the end, only a slight cut above your neighborhood Mexican joint. Extremely loud. Inattentive service. Unremarkable food for the price. Lobster in mariscos chile rellenos was over done and rubbery. Bar service was slow. Plantain cake dessert was very good.

We are on vacation and ate here a few years ago. My husband raved since then about his meal and I too thought it was a very nice, even special, place. This time, the food was good but not memorable, the service was strange. Our server disappeared after someone else took our empty plates and we sat for 15 minutes waiting for him to come by.
My recollection was a white tablecloth restaurant. This time, no table covering. The room has clusters of large chandeliers: one was burned out.
All in all, I came away let down.

It seemed like the menu was diverse for those without dietary concerns or restrictions, but it was a difficult dining experience as vegan patrons. Our lovely waitress gave us all the suggestions she could, we ended up with a kale salad and a variety of sides: guacamole, black beans, vegan street corn, and the asparagus and mushrooms. Would like to try this restaurant again if more vegan options were available.

Beautiful restaurant, great vibe, service could be better. Sometimes it seems to take a bit to be acknowledged and get a drink order in. Possibly understaffed.

The quality of the meat was good but the overall experience was underwhelming. Granted, it was “Valentines Day weekend” so the restaurant was busy but the server for our section was significantly slower compared to servers in other sections. Compared to similar restaurants close by, Red O didn’t have much to offer to stand out from their competitors. Even with a reservation we sat late (a good 25 mins over our reservation time) with no acknowledgment that they are running behind. Poor service, subpar menu, VERY loud restaurant but good quality food. Just not anything outstandingly great about the food.

It was awful
So bad. Everything from drinks, waitress was soooo mean , food was so bad cold with delays they brought one by one for 8 people
What ever we asked they said we don’t have it even coffee
It was ridiculous.

Red O never disappoints. The service is always perfect and everyone is so helpful and kind.
The food is delicious and always delivers. We brought friends who have never dined at Red O before and they loved, loved, loved it. Cannot wait to go back.
