Real Seafood Company - Toledo Ratings and Reviews
My wife and I consider this to be our favorite Toledo restaurant. The menu is huge, but we have tried many of the offerings. The food is consistently of the highest quality, and the service is attentive and efficient. Come on your birthday and you'll get a very nice surprise!
We were very disappointed in the Real Seafood Company. The appetizers were mediocre. Calimari was like frozen with a lot of sweet and sour sauce on top. Tuna was just OK. All of the salads and veggies had a LOT of oil and dressing on them. Too much dressing and drenched. Fish was cooked properly but bland. Two people in our party ordered the Jumbalaya and it was heavy in oil again with sausage and overcooked swordfish. Drinks were expensive for what they offered.
Overall would probably not go to this restaurant again given it was over $200 for mediocre food.
We came here for a birthday dinner and it was fabulous! The service was great and price was amazing! We had a group of 6, two appetizers and one alcoholic drink on our order and with tip included it was about $50 a person. We were all stuffed and for the price we paid the service was outstanding! We will most definitely be back when we are in Northwest Ohio again!
We like this restaurant, and this was the first time we had issues. Friend & I both ordered the Lobster tail and both came out lukewarm. Second dirty martini tasted like they forgot the vodka, just chilled olive brine. We sent back the entrees and speed being the saving grace on that, we had hot & fresh lobster tails in less than 5 minutes. Overall the food was good, and mgmt did comp our appetizers for the inconvenience, so that was nice. Personally, one less-than-stellar outing doesn't mean I won't return.
Went on 4/1/17 for dinner. Server brought spouses salad with bleu cheese on it after declining the bleu cheese cole slaw as he does not like bleu cheese. This normally would not had been an issue in and of itself... husbands lobster tail was under cooked and my whole lobster was terribly overcooked rendering it to be extremely chewy and was even difficult to cut with a knife. Sent it back. Second time around was better but not on point. We were very disappointed as we have visited for years now and until now have not had less than an excellent experience. Not many people present so being really busy or understaffed was not a factor. Time to find another seafood restaurant.
Initially our service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and on top of our requests. However, once our entrees arrived, we did not see her until we were finished eating. I am not sure if the restaurant was understaffed, but there was an issue with my food being dry and I decided, for sake of time, to eat the acceptable portion of my meal.
Our 25th anniversary dinner and we chose Real Seafood. It was great to wait for our table ion the lounge. Have a few drinks and listen to great live music. Had a wonderful meal and went back to the lounge after dinner for some more music. A wonderful casual evening and meal.
