Sitting on the upstairs veranda was a lot of fun. We had a view of Disneyland's fireworks and the ambiance was great. We recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer, the blackened salmon entree and the fish of the day entree was excellent (Ono was the visiting fish when we were there). We had an amazing server, Jessica, who made our dinner extra special with her great energy and just overall great service and recommendations. We do not recommend the calamari appetizer.

Very attentive staff.
Great filet mignon and sweet potato mash.
Cheerful, lively, romantic.
They halved the kids meals onto 2 plates without me even needing to ask. Kid friendly staff. A little too crowded to dance to the live music.

Well first our reservation had us seated in seconds and our waiter Janell I believe was amazing! The quality service, scenery, and setup was a Disney experience itself. The food however was acceptable. The garlic bread with cold cheese and drenched in oil had my date and I a bit upset. However, the rest of the order was quite well and allowed us to have an amazing date.

I bit into a huge chunk of porcelain that somehow found its way into my bacon wrapped shrimp. The manager made my daughter and I feel like white trash for bringing this to his attention. When he was getting information from me for his report he asked for my birth date. I told him 10/05/58. The little light went off in his head. He looked up from his report, and I said yes, it's my birthday. Happy birthday to me. The Jazz Kitchen gave me a chipped tooth for my birthday and then if that wasn't enough, he's going to make me feel like I'm white trash.
Prior to chipping my tooth, had to flag down a manager to get the drink my daughter had ordered that our server completely forgot about. After the chipped tooth and I just wanted to pay my bill and leave (yes, you still have a bill even though you've been served a chunk of porcelain for dinner) my waiter ignored the check presenter with the credit card standing up at the edge of my table. He greeted two new tables. When he finally did come to get my credit card it took about 15 seconds to process it and give it back to me so I could be on my way. He could have and should have done that. Instead, I sat there for ten minutes while he greeted and took drink orders and what-not for two other tables. I work at a very popular and very busy restaurant. When I shared my experience with my managers and co-workers they were appalled. That's not the we treat our guests. I've been coming to the Jazz Kitchen for my birthday for about the last dozen years. We come on my daughter's birthday, too. We normally had a great time and great food. The last several visits have been bad. The food (they did away with the roasted chicken I love and they did something weird to the dressing for the salad) isn't as good and the service has gotten horrible. After this last experience, I won't be coming back.

Our server provided top notch customer service. Attentive and hosted a table side dessert for us and was very engaging. We have considered this restaurant for years and never made it there because we weren't sure if it was a fit for our two younger boys. We should have come sooner. We all loved our food and the ambience was fun. We will be back!

I had a night alone for dinner in Disneyland, as my boyfriend was at a conference dinner. After evaluating all of my options, I decided to dine at Ralph Brennan's, and I was not disappointed! The wait staff was exceptional suggesting the perfect wine pairing with my entree, and checking on me many times during the meal. I chose the Catfish St. Charles, and it was FABULOUS!! This is probably one of the best dinners out I've had in ages. The fish and shrimp were cooked to perfection, and while the creamy sauce was described as a chili sauce, it was not too spicy...just the right amount of kick. I would go to Ralph Brennan's again in a heartbeat! And, though I didn't have them the same evening, the beignets were delicious, as well.

The music was fantastic! The ambiance was wonderful. Our server was way too distracted. Our table was not well attended to. The food was well seasoned and the portions were good. The banana foster was to die for!!

This is our second time at the Jazz Kitchen at Downtown Disney, and it did not disappoint! We sat in the "umbrella room" with a live pianist which was very entertaining and made the mood of the restaurant even more upbeat! We enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back soon!

When reviewing my ratings one needs to realize that this was Downtown Disney and mass volume dining. If this was in New Orleans or any private establishment my ratings would have been lower. But overall a pleasant experience.

We requested a table on the 2nd level this time. The restaurant has a second story section for dining usually by request only. The ambiance at this restaurant is very nice, the server was very helpful and attentive. The menu offers quite a selection and they don't have a problem if you split a meal. I would recommend this restaurant for both the lunch and/or dinner.

Good atmosphere, great food and friendly service. We sat upstairs where the jazz duo were playing. There was a great vibe but you could still hear yourself talk. Portions were generous - we had a main each and shared a salad and it was ample. We also had brunch here on Sunday - the Bloody Marys are excellent and the portions are huge. Would definitely go back next time we're in Downtown Disney.

My boyfriend took me here for a surprise date night. He loves jazz and I love the New Orleans style cajun food (I hope I referred to that correctly, I apologize if it is wrong). We had a great time and our waiter was very patient with me changing my decision on what I wanted. The drink selection looked great, but we settled with a Cat 5 Hurricane cocktail and it was delicious. The gumbo and jambalaya were really good, but the best part of our meal was the beignets. They were generous with the powdered sugar and the beignets were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and right out of the oven. I would definitely stop by even just for the beignets for dessert on my next visit to downtown Disney.
