The Lobby is, at heart, a neighborhood bar and restaurant where you can gather, feast and imbibe. Get a great craft beer (we have 20 on draft), enjoy some specialty cocktails, and have dreams about the bacon. Our menu is American, concentrating on twists of some of your childhood favorites. Espresso Crusted Venison & Bleu Cheese Grits, Carbomb French Toast, Hop-Cured Pork Belly, Shrimp & Grit Cakes and Stuffed Burgers are some of our most popular! We also specialize in killer brunch, accompanied by the best bottomless mimosas in town!

Food was good, and that was the only good thing about the experience. It took us 30 minutes from the time we arrived before we got our drinks. We did not get a chance to order happy hour appetizers before our main courses arrived because they took 45min to get us the happy hour menus and another 15 minutes to come and take our orders. The final bills had pricing that was different from the menus, and it was not corrected even after we commented about it, even though the server said they'd "take care of it". Pretty much the worst customer service I've ever gotten anywhere. The only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 is that I've been here twice before and while service has never been excellent, food has always been good.
We have come here several times for brunch, but after this visit i'm not in a hurry to go back. The service is ridiculously slow, and the food is only ok, but a bit overpriced. The "smoked salmon" Benedict is not smoked like I am used to being from New England, but cooked, and the potatoes were cold upon arrival. The service was slow, and our waitress took one person's drink order than disappeared for another 20 minutes. We all sat with empty waters and drinks several times and had to flag her down for everything. I had a gift card I used on this visit, and also showed the Yelp check in for 10% off. I was told we probably couldn't use both, but she never came back and confirmed what the answer was, before we cashed out and she did not honor the 10% off. This place is mostly known for their mimosa towers, but if you have less than 6 people, I could recommend many other places for a decent, reasonably priced brunch.
I love the way this restaurant looks and great happy hour but that isn't enough to give The Lobby a high rating. It took 15 minutes for the bartender/server to come take our drink order and another 15 minutes when we were checking out after giving our payment. We were there for a little over an hour and only had appetizers and one drink each. I keep giving this place a chance but no after this experience.
Overall, this is a fun place for brunch. They are known for their bottomless mimosas and it's a very energetic atmosphere. We had a group of 7 and were sat quickly with our reservation and our service was great. The food left much to be desired. The menu looked awesome but they just could not deliver on the food end of things. Most of us had our food served cold and it just missed the mark. Too bad, really.
Made a reservation weeks in advance and requested patio seating. We got attitude at the door about 100% of our party not being there to be seated (we had 75% which is what their policy states). Got seated inside - not on the patio as requested. It was probably 85 degrees inside by the windows. We were sweating throughout the entire brunch despite asking about AC, to which the waitress responded "I don't know if they have any". She did not ask to see if they did even though we asked. Food order was wrong - Bacon cheeseburger somehow turned into a BLT, but the BLT was still good. Bottomless mimosa service was super slow and our tower was taken away before we had even requested our checks. I'd like to note that I have had their bottomless mimosa brunch many times on the patio, and have never had a waitress tell us that they can only fill it half way, or taken the towers away before we'd left... and we've been far more intoxicated than this time. If this were my first experience at The Lobby I would never go back. However knowing how enjoyable the patio is, and this being the first time we've received poor service overall - I would simply recommend patio seating only. And tell your waitress you'll tip her 100% if she keeps the mimosas coming.
Checked out The Lobby on a Friday night recently. Opted to sit in the courtyard as it was a) nice out although threatening rain and b) no one was indoors!
Our waiter Jordan was a study in efficiency. He easily handled 5 tables solo with congeniality and professionalism.
We were very impressed with our two entrees of cheesy steak and pork belly. Both came in at under $20 which would have easily gone higher elsewhere. The steak was cooked as specified and very flavorful. The cheese sauce was too much like Velveeta. The seared pork belly had just the right amount of fat. The mustard sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Loved the crispy Brussels leaves. Both dishes cane with chunky mashed red potatoes with some skin left which is the best.
Nice beer selection and generous wine pours.
It's a gem in an otherwise gritty part of town.
The Lobby has a high-energy atmosphere. Bottomless mimosas that come in very large wine glasses (if you have a party of 5+ you can get the Mimosa Tower!). The courtyard area looks nice, it was too cold to dine outside, but it could be a great spot for brunch and to catch up with friends.
Overall, it was a great experience. However, i Was disappointed that I made reservations for 4 and they sat us at a table for 5. Extra chair and all. Weird to see multiple tables of two at booths for four- that are a little more intimate, but two top tables wide open. Outside that....drinks were great. Appetizers - brussel sprouts and croquets were a hit and the meals were delicious.
They gave my food to the wrong table but brought my friends. They had to make it again and when I got the Benedict the white of the eggs was sliding off the yolk so wasn't cooked right. Manager never apologized for that second part and just got defensive. Very disappointed and I had been there so many times.
I'm usually skeptical about restaurants that receive low ratings, but ALL of the low ratings for The Lobby are justified. The food was bad, the bathrooms were disgusting and the service was marginal. I should have known better when I was able to get a reservation an hour before we got there.
Made a reservation for brunch for a girls' get together. Staff was unprepared to deal with a physical disability and there are no elevators on site. Had to wait an extra hour just to get a table. Food was ok but the service was horrible. The hostess was plain rude. Our waitress was overworked and it showed. I won't be coming back.
I really enjoyed our brunch there. I wish I could have tried more food. I had the Cubano benedict and it was delicious. I also tried the Heuvos Burrito, it was good, but something was too sweet. It may have been in the burrito or the green chile, we couldn't tell. The food was good, It was not as great as I hoped. It was so loud there that my girlfriends and I had a hard time talking to each other. I will be back though to try other options on the menu. They take reservations which is a very big plus in my book.
Great brunch service - our mimosas were always full! They also have a great patio!
My only complaint is with the breads - my English muffin and my friend's biscuit were rock hard (hardly able to cut with a butter knife).
Overall, great experience. Just disappointed with the breads.
Overall, the experience and food was great! The initial host and bartender were nice and helpful. Our server was pretty slow, however. Our group had to pull her aside to ask to order and ask for our bill. Not a huge complaint though as she was still friendly and I know she was busy.
