About Park Avenue Autumn
Restaurateur Michael Stillman is proud to announce the re-opening of Park Avenue Autumn (Winter, Spring, Summer), the New American restaurant that enjoyed a 22-year run on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Very good restaurant. Visited for anniversary dinner. Seasonal changing of menu and restaurant decor is fantastic. Will go back again
Only complaint is that we waited 30 mins to sit down despite having a reservation.

The foods were great as usual. We ordered a $79 course including an appetizer, two plates, and a dessert, as well as additional wine pairing. But what upset us this time was when we got the bill. The price of wine pairing on the menu turned out to be per dish, not per course. So we ended up paying triple what we assumed to pay. Wine pairing was not for dessert by the way. We should have asked the waitress first, but all the other prices on the menu articulated whether they were per plate or per course. Maybe she should have told us first. We slightly doubted that the restaurant intentionally writes so...

Simply the best dining experience I've had in easily a decade. Warm and friendly service, immaculately prepared and unbelievably delicious food, beautiful decor and lighting, ample and impressive wines. Upscale but unpretentious. I love that the menu and decor change seasonally, and I cannot wait to come back and try another season, though Autumn was divine.

We had the best meal at park avenue autumn. Not only was the food delicious but the atmosphere is beautiful. The squash and ricotta appetizer was great, as was the corn brulee. The agnolotti was out of this world. Main courses were all excellent too. I highly recommend getting the salmon. Desserts were incredible too - the chocolate cube was out of this world. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I will definitely be back for other seasons!

We've been to this restaurant a number of times but this was our first time at their relatively new location. We weren't disappointed. The food and service was excellent. They have a small tasting menu (1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert) for $79 which was perfect. You can add wine pairings @$20 each and the pours were very generous. We had roasted squash and a shrimp appetizer which we very flavorful. The lobster entree is a must. It was, sweet, tender and perfectly prepared. The halibut ran a very close second to the lobster as did the roasted vegetables. The duck compared to the others was just OK. After such a great meal we are now planning a birthday party in one of their private room.

Park Avenue Autumn was incredible! The service was wonderful, the food amazing, and the ambience warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. They even put a candle in my boyfriend's dessert and wrote happy birthday on the plate for him.

This was our second visit to the restaurant because we are in love with the food and ambiance, which -- along with the mixologists at the bar - continue to deliver. We were, however, very disappointed with what seemed like smaller portions for the same price, and a very slow kitchen. Hopefully these things will get corrected and the beauty and deliciousness will triumph.

The menu was creative and everything was super delicious. It started with yummy individual pumpkin breads and apples with some creative topping that looked fantastic in the presentation and tasted good, too. Our group shared several appetizers which were all beautifully presented and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their main courses very much and the desserts, especially the chocolate cube was amazing. The only thing that could have been better was the pear tarte tatin - a bit more pear and less pastry would have been better. Overall very recommended.

My fiance and I were very excited to visit Park Avenue Autumn, as we were interested in the business concept of changing the name, decor, and food to match the season. When we got there our table wasn't quite ready, so we sat at the bar and had a drink. My fiance had a Manhattan and I had an "I Ain't Afraid of No Ghost Pepper" tequila cocktail (which I thought was clever and amusing). His Manhattan was good and my cocktail was as well, a bit spicier than I anticipated, but I finished it nonetheless. We were brought to our table, and the ambiance in the room was nice. It took a few minutes for our server to come over to us, which we understood because it was a bit busy when we sat. However, the rest of the night the service was very slow (at one point it took over 10 minutes to order a new drink and over additional minutes to actually receive the drinks - for which our server eventually recognized and comped). The food was delicious, we really enjoyed each dish we had, but the server seemed to have a difficult time explaining how the 4 course pre-fixe option worked (my fiance wanted 3 appetizer dishes and a dessert instead of the 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert). Also, throughout the night (which I understand is not the fault of the restaurant) all we could hear and feel was the bass and loud music from the club nearby. It was extremely loud and distracting, especially when the setting of the restaurant is so serene. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but the service left much to be desired. We love the other restaurants in this restaurant group, but I don't know if we'll return to Park Avenue.

Lovely autumn decor made a perfect spot for a special dinner between friends on a rainy night. Fall menu is playful and makes good use of seasonal ingredients. Prix fixe is the best way to experience the menu--pay close attention to the appetizers for surprising twists. My schnitzel entree was disappointing--tough meat and the breading was made sloppy by a wet salad on top. Wine pairings are thoughtful, but not worth $20 a glass. Dessert was almost too beautiful to eat--the chocolate cube is one of those playful twists Park Avenue surprises with. The servers and support staff are genuine and on-point--no unnecessary gaps in service at all.

Was there in June when it was Park Ave Summer and knew I had to come back for Autumn. It did not disappoint - the menu was to-die-for and the service and ambiance was incredible. I recommend this place to all of my friends visiting the city.

One of my most interesting dining experiences. Every single thing we ordered was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Though obviously pricy I thought it was worth it. The only thing that didn't blow me away was the lobster dish. Can't wait to go back and try the other seasonal menus

Reception at the restaurant was terrible. We had an 8pm reservation and when we arrived, the hostess said we had to wait a while. We went to the bar and managed to sit in one of the bar tables for our drinks. After a while, hostess came and told us that we had to stand as the table was reserved. I explained I was waiting for my table. Three minutes later another guy comes and tells us that table is reserved and wanted us to move. Of course, they never went to ask the people sitting at our table to move because it was reserved. It seems they wanted our table to give it to friends of them. Not the service I expected from a restaurant like this. Wait time over an hour when I had a reservation??

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. My son and I are foodies and really appreciate good food. This was excellent. Each course hit the mark and then some. The food is innovative, changes seasonally and is beautifully plated. I highly recommend going there!

I've always wanted to try Park Avenue and our 8th anniversary made for the perfect occasion. The hostess #1 (forgot her name so sorry), Amanda (hostess 2) were extremely friendly. Our server Tara gave an excellent wine alternative which paired well with the long island duck. The pumpkin bread was amazing. I opted to sit in the corner booth style seating and the host happily obliged my request. The staff moved quickly without making you feel rushed, cleared the table with precision. We appreciated the complimentary glasses of bubbly that Tara gave us also and the dessert was AMAZING. Loved the service so much that we asked to speak to the manager, Sarah who was just as friendly. I would come back here again in a heartbeat!

We had the perfect restaurant experience. The picturesque interior and the attentive, not intrusive staff allowed us to completely enjoy the company and the food. The dishes - as well as the cocktails - were multidimensional in flavor, unique and all delicious. We left full and completely content.

I have previously had a great dining experience here, but that was unfortunately not the case this time. They were out of the first bottle of wine I ordered and then the selection the server made was so bad I rejected it upon taste which I've never done before. The next wine selection was just okay. Before we even ordered, we were told hey we're out of short ribs. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the server made a nice vegetarian selection, but the food was just alright for the price. We also wanted vintage port for after dinner drinks and were told they were out of that as well. We had a new servor for dessert who made an excellent dessert wine selection. After we were done, we waited very long to recurve the bill and when we did, it contained wrong items. Disappointed and will try somewhere new next time.
