The food and drinks here were great and the view was lovely. That being said if you are trying for a Sunday brunch, I'd skip it. The tables that seat two are the size of a lunch tray and so close together that the waitress's hair kept brushing my arm as she checked on the next table. Not what I'd like as I'm eating my breakfast. It was REALLY loud as well. Had to practically yell over all noise just to be heard across the tiny table. we came when it first opened and it was great, now it's too crowded.
Sadly disappointing. It took 3 weeks to get a brunch reservation, so the actual experience was anti-climatic. Of course it's great to have brunch on a rooftop patio, but it can't be the only redeeming factor. The eggs benedict was good and served on jalepeno corn bread, which was a nice change. The service was TERRIBLE!! After taking our order, our server was never seen again, until check time. We had to keep asking the bus boys to bring salt, hot sauce, water, etc...
So if you want a rooftop view and are willing to wait three weeks for a table, this is your place.
One of my favorite rooftop restaurants in the mission, but HORRIFIC customer service both times. The servers come off very entitled and non-attentive. This has happened twice so far. The food and scene are good so it KIND of makes up for it. But we had to ask at least 3 times to be served. The bussers were the nicest.
I don't know the name of the guy downstairs checking people in downstairs but I also don't know what role he plays there. He is of no use whatsoever. We approached him and he did not even ask what we wanted since he was too busy letting a friend know what flavor he wanted for a popsicle. After that, he still did not acknowledge us until I just went in since I had reservations and that is the only tome he turned to my friend and said, "Please tell him to come back". He thinks he has so much power there overseeing the line...so PATHETIC!
The view really is outstanding and worth the wait in line for the tiny elevator! Menu is relatively simple, with some standard and totally decent brunch options. They were very cool about accommodating our small stroller so baby could tag along. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be going back!
So glad we made reservations at this place, because it was crowded!
Food was excellent, thought portions are on the smaller side. The rooftop atmosphere was very nice, can see why it's a popular spot. Staff provided top notch service, despite being very busy. Only disappointing thing was that some of the menu items were extremely overpriced. Side of plantains for $8 for literally 4 small plantain pieces? That's just absurd.
