Chart House - Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
We came for dinner to celebrate our anniversary.
The atmosphere is very nice with great views of the marina.
The appetizers we ordered were really good.
Unfortunately they were out of 2 of the entrees that we wanted, however we ended up enjoying our meals anyway. Our waiter was super attentive.
He made our experience really special & gave us a delicious complimentary dessert.
Chart House is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food! We celebrated my 30th birthday and everything was fantastic. You can tell the food is made with quality ingredients and it is presented beautifully. The service was prompt and courteous and the manager checked on us to make sure our experience was great and it certainly was!
I wish I could review the food, but we never got that far. We had reservations for 630 for my birthday and we were a party of 6. When we checked in at the host stand at 630 on the nose we were told that our table would be ready shortly. 20 to 25 minutes later we were still waiting. Other tables of 6, 4 and 2 people were seated, but we weren't even being acknowledged. My 9 year old was getting antsy and hungry and so we left. So disappointed. I had planned this dinner for weeks and we were sad not to be able to eat there.
We enjoyed dining at the Chart House! The Hostess was very pleasant and took us to a great seat. Our server Ken was friendly and very attentive. He made good suggestions when we asked about certain entree's and the service was great. The view of the Marina was super and the restaurant was very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend going to Chart House and will go back again myself.
Went for my husband's 40th. They were aware of this ahead of time and had "Happy 40th Birthday" printed on our menus....I thought that was a really nice touch as I didn't ask for this. They also gave us a free dessert (the one we ordered came with a candle and the waitress sang a line or 2 of happy birthday to him. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive---she was really sweet. I splurged and ordered the lobster---it was delicious!! My husband ordered the filet which he said was also delicious. This is a great place for a special occasion and there is such a spectacular view of the marina and all the luxurious boats docked there.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. I called ahead to make reservations and to see what special arrangements could be done to make his experience special. I was told the printer was down so they could not make a customized menu but could do a dessert with a candle for him. I was ok with that. It was the first time here for the both of us. When we got there we were seated fairly quickly. It was much more busy and louder then expected. But again I was ok with that. The food was great but service not so much. We weren't told that certain desserts had to be ordered in advance due to the fact that it took 30min to make. So when we got to desert we had to sit and wait around over 30 min but we waited because that's what the bday boy wanted. Also they didn't even bring his dessert with a candle after we waited all that time even when I confirmed with the hostess when we got there that I wanted the server to do so. Our server wasn't very attentive to us or our needs. I would go here again but wouldn't want that server again!
The main course needs to be improved to match the price point. Apps.,salads, drinks all very good, the main course is lacking (prime rib bland, scallops do not taste fresh),this opinion is based on several visits. Fantastic view, great wait staff, but wife won't go back unless the food improves. Will be watching reviews to see if that happens.
I've been to the Chart House several times, because it's awesome! Amazing food, fantastic service, and ambiance (waterfront view). Some of my favs include the crab avocado mango stack, coconut crunchy shrimp, maize shrimp and scallops, mac nut mahi, and of course the chocolate lava cake! Great food is a given. But, for me, it's the service which really sets the tone for the dining experience. "Bridgette" was our impressive server this past visit. She made our night!!
The Chart House Atlantic City is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious. The portions are generous. The manager Chris always runs the room well and keeps everyone happy. The hostesses are alwaysfriemdly and happy make us feel special. All of the servers are courteous and friendly and our favorite, Bridgett, always goes above and beyond to be sure that our experience is always the best it can possibly be. Thank you to all at the Chart House for working so hard.
My husband and I spent our 5th anniversary at The Chart House. It was new to us since every anniversary before we have dined at The Melting Pot in AC. We were sad to discover they had closed down and I instantly began the search for a new spot. The reviews for this place seemed promising, so I booked the reservation on OpenTable and noted it was our 5th wedding anniversary. We arrived about 10 minutes early and as recommended by a few friends, I requested a window table. The hosts were on point with friendliness and professionalism. We were taken to our table at 8 on the dot which was when our reservation was. When the hostess seated us, she wished us a Happy Anniversary and handed us our menus. It wasnt until about 15 mins later that I noticed a personalized message on the top of each of our menus stating "The Chart House wishes you a Happy 5th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Weiss". (great touch) Our server was amazing and did a fantastic job at explaining the menu and was attentive but not annoying. The food was amazing! We each had the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and the steaks were cooked to perfection. after our meal, we were brought a dessert to split on the house for our special occasion. It was called mud pie and it was to die for. Everything from the view, the environment, and food was 2nd to none. Service was excellent from the time we arrived until we left. From hostess to servers, to bussers and food runners....bar none. Portions and prices are great and the wine list is awesome. We were sent off with our personalized menus rolled up and tied with a bow, full bellies and happy memories. We have definitely found our new anniversary spot!!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back 110%.
My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Chart House. It was our first time there and we had a reservation at 8:00pm. We waited about 15 minutes before we were seated. Our waitress, Wendy, was very nice, courteous, and professional. She greeted us immediately with "Happy Anniversary". We had the Kim Chee Calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. As entrees, my husband had the Maize Shrimp & Scallops and I had the Lobster & Shrimp Carbonara. He enjoyed his meal but was not too fond of the spinach gnocchi. My dish was amazing and I recommend it. We both shared and loved the Hot Chocolate Lava Cake. We didn't enjoy the Mango mojitos we ordered. They had no flavor and tasted like seltzer. We informed Wendy and it was so nice for the manager not to charge them on our bill. It was reasonably priced for the occasion. Before we left, Wendy gave us "A Happy 20th Anniversary to Mr. & Mrs. Melendez" engraved Chart House menu. That was so sweet and made our anniversary so much special. We will definitely come back to CH!
The happy hour was slamming. We were a bit early for our Rez and couldn't just sit and have a cocktail. There is a large lobby for waiting but a drink would have been nice. My food was not hot just warm. That was the same for 3 of the 5 diners.
But I still love it there. Maybe just off season from here on in.
They had a Salvation Army pot to collect money for Houston, which was a nice touch.
It's always such a treat going to the Atlantic City Chart House. The décor, the food, the view are all fabulous. The meal is a treat for sure and not in our everyday budget. The meals come with a veggie and a side which I appreciate. I highly recommend the creamed spinach!
We dined at The Chart House in AC on Saturday, August 26, 2017 with close friends while on vacation. After requesting a table by the window, we were seated with a great view of the beautiful boats. Our food was delicious, as we ordered a variety of menu items including coconut shrimp, veal and Ahi tuna. The only problem of the evening was our server, Tom. It took an extremely long period of time to get our appetizers, main dishes and dessert. At one point, our items were brought to our area on a tray and just left there. We had to ask another waiter to serve our items before they got cold. Other tables around us were seated and served by their waiters and waitresses in a timely fashion. We have dined at the Chart House on many occasions and have always received great service. I will definitely return because the food has always been delicious.
