Castle Falls Ratings and Reviews
Was a little hesitant since no one I knew had ever been to Castle Falls, but it looked beautiful so we decided to give it a shot. The food was great, and the ambiance was romantic and unique. The building is beautiful. There are only about ten tables in the dining room, so it's a very intimate experience. The wine list was mediocre, but we made it work. Our server was very personable and attentive. We had a great time.
The entire experience was well worth the dining. The appetizer was a disappointment, soft pretzels, we're not soft. We had to use our steak knives to cut our "soft" pretzels. My wife had the jaegar rib eye, excellent! I had roasted chicken breast, moist and juicy! The waiter was slow, I think he had to cover upstairs/downstairs. Overall a pleasant experience. We will return!
We both thought everything we ordered was good. The sausage and cheese plate was fun. For a place you don't really hear about, it's something special and different. If it was a nice evening, dinner on the patio would be beautiful. Kind of a fun find in an area in which you wouldn't expect it.
It was the perfect location for our party of four NYE dinner. The service was wonderful (ask for Van- she was adorable). My favorite dishes were the beer cheese soup and the meat and cheese platter and our pork tenderloin was excellent. This might have become my newest favorite fine dining in okc.
Castle Falls was amazing. My Husband and I went before the Pentatonix concert and our table was in a corner upstairs. It felt like we were the only customers. Our wait staff was always there as soon as we finished a course(we were upstairs for the 5 course dinner experience) and they asked about allergies before and always explained what we were presented. I will be back for all my important events and intimate date nights.
Every year, my husband and I come here to dine for our wedding anniversary. We always have a great experience with the restaurant. The food and service are always exceptional. This time, I was even more pleasantly surprised by the food, specifically the crab cakes and the pumpkin brûlée. It was the best I've ever had and I would want to come back sooner so I can have them again.
Wonderful ambiance!! Our meal was extremely good and the waitress definitely guided our group well on top selections. I was very interested in the Beef Stroganoff but she talked me into the Filet and I was not disappointed in the least. We also enjoyed the sausage plate for an appetizer. The only part of the experience that was average was for such a beautiful setting and amazing meal I wish that the wine list would have been a bit more extensive.
We have had the opportunity to dine with Castle Falls on several occasions through our time in Oklahoma City, and have always had a most wonderful dining experience. The ambiance, wait staff and food preparation were all above reproach. My wife and I consider it to be the very best dining location in Oklahoma City when we want a really pleasant evening out.
Castle Falls was charming for our special occasion. From the moment we stepped out of the car, each and every employee, especially our server, was professional and friendly.
This special location embraces Oklahoma's rich history, and we were mesmerized with the surroundings, furnishings, exquisite dinner which completely exceeded our expectations.
Thank you to everyone - we've already strongly recommended Castle Falls to friends and relatives, and can't wait until our next visit!
One of the most enjoyable meals I've had in a long time. Each of our group tried something different and it was all outstanding. We had the first round table after the entrance and the seclusion was perfect for conversation. The dessert and decaf coffee was a perfect ending. We will be back.
I am absolutely floored that I have never heard of this restaurant before! This is now my all time favorite in Oklahoma.....there is only one restaurant I enjoy as well and it is in Florida! I will definitely be enjoying this place more, now that I found this little gem! Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing value for the $$.
The entire restaurant was charming and the food was very delicious. I especially liked the lobster bisque and the crab cakes appetizer. We had the filet mignon and the pork tenderloin and both of those were fantastic as well. Great food, fantastic service, and a lovely atmosphere. The whole property was beautiful to walk around.
Had no clue this place even existed but I'm so glad I found it! Food was phenomenal and the entire dining experience was on par with high caliber dining that you couldn't just find anywhere. Staff were amazing and professional. Will definitely be going back in the future.
All aspects of the evening were good with a couple of exceptions. I had ordered flowers that not delivered and the chair that my wife got poked by a nail protruding through the chair seat. Staff was semi-apologetic. Response was geared more to "thank you for letting us know" instead of apologizing for her pain and inconvenience. It would have been better if they had offered her a free dessert, or something.
Wasn't clear where the entrance to the restaurant was, even though the map at the entrance of the property displayed where the restaurant was located. The drive is actually behind the restaurant. The ambiance was nice and the service was fantastic. The setting was intimate, but felt a little cramped. It felt like it was intimate with other diners as well.
The food was certainly edible, but in no way commanding of the asking price. I would not recommend this to a friend and I will not revisit.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and the ambiance was outstanding. I asked for a romantic table and they took care of us by putting us in a room all to ourselves next to a window upstairs. The waitress was very pleasant and we started off with shrimp cocktails that were fantastic. Next we had salads that once again were perfect then French onion soup that was the best we have ever ate. A different waiter noticed that we didn't have bread so he offered and we accepted, it was very good too. I had planned on ordering a ribeye and my wife wanted fish but the waitress did a good job of selling us on the filet and lobster that was the night's special. After a reasonable wait, the entrees arrived and we were given shrimp instead of the lobster - what a disappointment! The chef came out and apologized as they had run out of lobster and not told our waitress. He offered free lobster with our next meal if we visited again but we were still charged as if we had ate lobster. The meal was good but the entree was a bit busy with a few too many flavors to include the blue cheese overpowering our steaks. We ended up ordering two bottles of wine and took most of the second one home, our bill including 20% tip was over 300.00. All and all it was really a neat place to eat and most of the food was really good but the entree was a disappointment.
We had a great time at dinner. If you are familiar with Oklahoma City, the location is surprisingly quiet and calming with beautiful landscaping and outdoor seating. The food was amazing and our server was fantastic, from wine recommendations to helping us celebrate a birthday. We had the salmon and pork chops for our main courses, which were cooked perfectly. Don't be in a rush if you go - enjoy the full meal experience but also take time to enjoy the outdoor paths & patio seating!
It was my first time to Castle Falls and according to our waiter this was the busiest night in a long time. Our waiter did everything he could to make up for the fact that the food took over an hour and was cooked wrong. The appetizer was the best part of the meal. The soup cheese soup was average at best. The steak was cooked wrong and the desert seemed as if it was out of a box. They comped my meal accept for the drinks of which I had two beers and they charged me for three. All in all if it were any other restaurant I would never go back. Being Castle Falls I will give them another chance because the waiters customer service was up to my standards and I am a harsh critic.
