The food was satisfactory, but service was not that good. Our waitress was treating our table badly but she holds a big smell for another table next to us. When we order, we were trying to order some different wines for testing, and she said, we don't do testing in the restaurant, but she served the next table exactly what we wanted to order. When we ask her, she said in a bad attitude, "That is a wine flight." We are all working professionals in Canada, therefore, English communication is not the problem here.

Great food as always. Booked with open table, at 930pm, reservation was accepted at the restaurant. Little did we know the kitchen closed at 10 pm. Wanting more than an hour to dine we felt rushed to leave. Would be helpful if they closed the reservation earlier. Food was wonderful. Timing not the best. It was a special occasion. Would have gladly accepted and earlier reservation or been declined.

Tasty meal but our request on Open Table for a table that could accommodate 4 adults and one infant was not fulfilled. We were wedged between to tables so car seat and baby sat on the floor much to the servers' annoyance. I guess we should have booked a table for 5.

The food was delicious, as always. However, I was less impressed with our service this visit. Considering this was a Wine Fest event and we ate a 4-course wine paired meal, I expected to get a thorough explanation of the wines and the reason each wine was paired with the food. But each glass of wine was set in front of us without any explanation. Generally the servers are very friendly and engaging. The server on this particular evening seemed reserved and reluctant to chat.
The Spanish onion soup served as the first course was amazing. The lamb with couscous in the third course was fantastic. Both dishes must be tried!!

I recently had lunch at Old Vines and had a very poor experience. The service was extremely slow and my sister received the wrong order. No effort was made to accommodate the error and her food was brought out after everyone else had eaten. The manager said a very insincere "sorry" and then server brought the bill. There was no offer to give any kind of discount for the poor service. The final straw was when we asked the hostess to phone a taxi. Twenty minutes later we overheard her say that she still had to phone the taxi. At no point did she inform us that she had not called yet. At this point the front end was quiet and there were no customers waiting to be seated. While waiting for the taxi we used the bathroom and the mirrors were covered with fruit flies! Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Needless to say I will not be returning.

I was slightly disappointed when the waitress did not offer to pay for our friend's dinner after she found a dead moth on her plate. Also, 2 of us had fruit flies in our wine. The dinner was delicious and the ambiance was great. It's just too bad, we got a little extra protein with our dinners. We were given a complimentary glass of ice wine, but still feel that her dinner should have been on the house, especially after she refused a new plate and just took the moth off her plate. I assume that she did this, because she is very shy and did not want to wait any longer for dinner. We waited almost an hour to have our main dishes served.

We arrived just after 5:00pm, so it was very quiet and relaxing at first. By the time we left, at 6:45, it was quite full, and while busy, was not overly loud. Food was outstanding! Flavorful and very nicely prepared and presented. wonderful view of the garden, vineyards, and big open view to Lake Okanagan. Staff was friendly and very professional. Highly recommend a visit to Quail's Gate for a special dinner.

Our experience for the first time was bar to none. The view, outside patio, food and service was out of this world. It might of been our first time to this Resturant but not our last. This was for my wife's Birthday, and the only thing missing was that acknowledgment. It would have been nice for someone to have wished her a Happy Birthday as I did tell reservations why I was bringing my wife there. Thanks for a great evening.

Very nice service. Ate out on patio. Staff good at responding to need for awning, then heaters. Lovely and quiet on patio so easy to have a business discussion. My dinner plate had a bit too much going on. The fish was good, but overly fussy presentation that didn't allow me to appreciate the flavours. Chocolate dessert not great.

My wife and I made this our last stop of our honeymoon, and it was truly the best meal we had the entire trip (which included a stop in San Francisco). The wine choices at Quails Gate are always a favorite of mine, and the food was outstanding. We had the steak and the Cornish hen, cooked perfectly with wonderful flavors. I will be back again, likely every year we are back in Kelowna. Thank you for making our last night a memorable one!

We were so disappointed this time. We have been at Quails Gate many times, and this was a special occasion as we celebrated 3 birthdays and a wedding.
We waited a long time even to get a glass of wine, a lot longer to get our food. The girl was working hard, but had too many tables and the restaurant was not even full.
It will be a long time before we return, what a disappointment.
