About Pineridge Hollow
Here at Pineridge Hollow we celebrate the prairies and the people of the prairies. We choose to celebrate Manitoba’s distinct seasons and the land we live in.
We believe in supporting local growers and producers and are proud to feature the talents of our neighbours whenever we can.
We believe that our climate, our soil conditions and our water all make prairie produce unique and wonderful.
At Pineridge Hollow we are delighted to share wholesome, delicious and comforting food with our guests.
We believe that you should have a beautiful place to get away from it all, a place that celebrates with you and comforts you.
We believe in local eggs, kitchen cutting gardens, real cream and fresh flowers...

An added plus to good food, good company, good wine, good service....the weather is still mild enough to enjoy the porch dining setting. Getting there in time to experience an evening sunset and having candles provide lighting gives such a feeling of intimacy and unrushed dining. The food selection is good with a range from country dishes to provincial specialties. The service is consistently good without any feeling of intrusion to a group of friends getting together for conversation and to catch up. The wine, starter and generously portioned entrée, unfortunately, left no room for dessert.

The food, as always, was spot on. Delicious and hot and well presented. Not the place for quiet conversation. Quite noisy when the restaurant is near capacity. Sitting near a large table was a nightmare. My friend and I could hardly hear each other.

This restaurant has really fallen. For such an amazing, special place, the food is poor at best. This restaurant used to be so special, but now it is over priced for the less than average food experience. I am not sure what has happened, perhaps they lost their chef. Perhaps they have lost their way, but the past four visits have been poor at best. I think we are going to give up on this place. It's not the service, it's the food - just poor. Too bad!

Everything was fantastic, as usual! The food is absolutely delicious, and presentation is excellent. The staff are always very friendly and personable. And the atmosphere is quaint and serene. This is one of my all time favourite places to go:)

Pineridge Hollow had always been one of my favorite places to go for dining and browsing in the shops. A friend of mine has never visited here, so a group of us took her to experience Pineridge Hollow. She absolutely loved it! Its a wonderful place all around!

Had a very nice time catching up with a friend while enjoying some delicious coffee and savoury brunch foods (Eggs Benedict of the Day was very palatable and beautifully presented). We were lucky to have been sat on the upper level at a table beside the window, overlooking forestry. We were served by a brand new server who was very sweet, prompt and polite. Zero complaints about the quality of food, service or the ambiance. Overall a fantastic experience! -Second best part was browsing through the shops in the building afterwards, and purchasing gorgeous decor! I highly recommend taking the 20 minute drive from Downtown up to this hidden gem in the heart of scenic Bird Hill Provincial Park, you'll love it!

It is so beautiful here. The food is very good. It almost feels like a vacation get away. The service on this visit was less than perfect. The service on prior visits has been great so I do not know what the deal was today.

I absolutely love it at pine ridge hollow, the atmosphere is exquisite! I have been multiple times in the past two years and it has been fantastic every time! I had the Pineridge salad which was unusual and delicious. Very fresh ingredients, interesting combination of smoked Gouda cheese, pears, and candied pecans. Very good.
The noise level was over the top, as all around us were people with babies and young children, which made visiting a bit difficult. We asked to be moved, which helped initially, until yet another group with little ones sat next to us. I realize not the restaurants fault but it affected my experience there as it was a bit difficult to have a conversation!

Pine Ridge Hollow has consistently high quality meals. I love their efforts to keep it local where possible. The service is ALWAYS so friendly, it's a treat to drive out at any time of year. Make a reservation though!

Very beautiful place! Had a reservation and it was ready when we arrived with time to browse the adjacent gift shops. Five of us dined and four ordered the cinnamon bun french toast which was very filling and 2 could not finish theirs, the husband said his could have sat in the batter for a bit longer. I tried the lemon pancakes and the pancakes were delicious however i found the lemon a bit overpowering and I love lemon!! Overall we will definitely will come back and try other dishes!!

My friends and I try to make the drive a few times a year to Pineridge Hollow as it is such a beautiful location and the food is usually very good. It was my birthday lunch for this occasion and we were brought upstairs to be seated. We found it so loud and the noise echoed so much that we had to raise our voices to talk. We requested to be moved to the main floor where it was much better. The main issue we always have when we go is it takes so long for the food. This was no exception as our reservation was for noon and we didn't get our food until 1:05. The waitresses all seemed annoyed this visit but we noticed there was a wedding happening so maybe too much going on. We couldn't even get a spoon for our tea! We had to use our forks. My chicken fingers were on the verge of burnt. Not our best visit that's for sure. Maybe understaffed or maybe management is not good but we could feel the stress throughout the restaurant and staff did not look like they were enjoying their job.

Tasty, reasonable and consistent selection on the menu. We like the local products. Service is always friendly and efficient. And they have Pepsi products. We often have seniors in our group and the staff make sure we are seated on the first floor. The grounds, the goats and the store make for a great country atmosphere. Overall, always a pleasant experience.

The main dining area was quite noisy so it was quieter out on the side closed in deck area. Food was good. Vegetables in the soup esp the cabbage, were undercooked; we asked for a side of vegetables and what was delivered (few slices of eggplant, sweet potato etc) were somewhat different from what the server described (asparagus, etc) and were not cooked enough either. The pickeral was good but a bit overcooked, although of course that dish is hard to get perfectly correct. The service was good and I appreciated the complimentary dessert as it was my birthday.
