There were 4 in our party. The staff was prompt, professional and very courteous. Everyone there seemed to genuinely enjoy what they are doing and where they work. The table and place settings were clean. We all had ample leg room and were not crowded in the least. And the food was absolutely fresh and delicious. Our server, Leah, was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. We never felt rushed to finish. I do not believe we have ever had a finer restaurant experience than at Pickwick & Frolics.

The show was amazing. Dinner was terrible. The tea had a bad after taste. Then came the bread it was rock hard and moldy. The butter tasted like cold oil. The chicken salad had very little meat. The burger had no flavor. I asked for pickles for the burger and I was given pickle spears. The fries were good and the sundae was good. The wait staff and manager were great. The price was extreme even if the food would have been good. Glad the manager took care of things because of the moldy bread. We will definitely be back for a show but, not for dinner.

Great place to go for dinner and a show. Dinner was very good as were the drinks. Only issue was our waitress. She was slow throughout the night and did not get my order right. Wouldn't have been a big deal otherwise, but we had tickets to a show so had was rushed. They offered me free desert and that was eaten on the way out. We would go again, hopefully not to get the same waitress.

We started with a glass of Sangria. We have had better. Lobster Bisque was so/so. Would not recommend it. Polenta was served with my husband's steak which did not really go well with a strip steak. He described his steak as OK, not great. I had the Prime Rib which I thought was good. I would recommend it. The only thing I did not like about the Prime Rib was that it was placed on top of the mashed potatoes so mashed potatoes were all over the bottom of the steak and the aspargus. The mashed potatoes and the aspargus did taste good though. We shared the brownie alamode sunday for desert which was three brownies and about four scoops of ice cream with filberts on the bottom. Very good. We could not finish it so the waiter offered to pack the brownies up for us to take home. He offered to keep it in the refrigerator until after the comedy show downstairs. I thought that was very nice. The service was good and the staff friendly. I would recommend this restaurant if going to the comedy shown at Hilarities after dinner.

My husband and I celebrated our 6th anniversary at Pickwick and Frolic this past weekend. We were seated right away, had excellent service and enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is really quite nice in this restaurant and we will return. Our kind waiter treated us to a complimentary slice of cheesecake to celebrate our special date. It's the little things!

The 2 of us always get the prime rib when we eat there which is always good. This time a couple people joined us, 3 of us ordered something different and none of us liked it but the 4th still got the prime rib and it was good. It won't stop us from going again since we still like the atmosphere and like to stop for drinks, plus we live close

Was my first time on 4th Street. We ate early. No crowd. Waiter was a nice kid but not knowledgeable about the menu.
Companion's crab cakes were very good. My cornmeal crusted walleye was greasy and tasted overly fishy and underdone. Overall, they seemed more interested in being a comedy theater than a restaurant.

We always eat here when we are coming down for comedy. Pickwick easily competes with all the fancy places on E4th. Even Michael Symon can't make a better scallop. Amazing rotisserie, gourmet pizza. Nice chops. You should go!

We have been going to Pickwick since its inception. At this point, it always feel like home. Have enjoyed many meals in the relaxing restaurant with good servers, brunch, good times in the 60's-style bar, laugh at MANY comedy shows and fun at other shows such as burlesque, mysteries, Sinatra late shows, etc. The owner is one of the nicest people we have ever met, and we are so glad he got the whole 4th Street thing going.

We were in Cleveland for a short trip, we picked the restaurant based on the review in the Cleveland Magazine in the hotel. The food was excellent, but the service was not good. Our waiter did not ask if we wanted another drink, he did not inquire if the the food good, and it took 15 minutes to get another glass of water from a different server and we had to ask twice for our bill.

The restaurant was quite full due to local events. We sat for about 10 min without any service. The waiter arrived and took our drink orders. These were not delivered for about 10 min. We are now 20 min into the evening. We told the waiter that we were going to the Paul McCartney concert. He finally came to take our dinner order 10 min later. He failed to ask if we needed bread, drinks, or anything else. The bread finally arrived and the meal came about 15 min later. My take on the evening is that the waiter did not really care about taking care of us. He did not offer meal suggestions, drink specials, or anything that could enhance the experience. Wish this could have been better for our party of 6.

Dinner was ok. My first serving of the Walleye was not cooked, sent it back and second one was good. Was offered free drinks but couldn't stay as we had a show to go to at House of Blues. Felt they should have adjusted our bill instead and they didn't. Have been ther before and was good. Maybe just a off night

I enjoy coming to Pickwick and Frolic. We met up here before an Indians game. We all ate all of our food, and that is difficult with young adults. There was a total of 8 of us, and we all were able to pick our favorites. Love the portions and the taste is great!!

Not very good I'm sad to say. The waiter had a glass shatter and sprayed water all over the table and myself. After this he was not very attentive to the table needs. When he came towards the end of my meal, I told him I wanted the rest of my food to GO and he apparently wasn't listening because he immediately piled plates from other tables on top of my food and went and dispersed of the rest of my food. I then brought this to his attention when he came back to the table and his response was "oooookay".....and he then walked off. He later came back and attempted to offer me a desert in stead. After informing him I did not want that he came back with the check and stated he took $5 off of the meal......This was accepted.......but considering the water exploding on me then him throwing half my meal away. ....I figured comping my meal should've been the least you could have done.....That's what most places would have done after that kind of experience. . Never given a bad review for anywhere before but felt this was necessary. Made reservations for four and bought tix for the comedy show after. Celebrating our wedding anniversary with family. Service was horrible, never received our salads ordered and watched nearby tables get bread and drinks from our server before we did. The main course was delivered before the bread and again never received the salads. The prime rib was like from a ponderosa steakhouse, except without the flavor. The other plates were not anything to write home about. We were all finished eating before the server even offered to bring drink refills. We literally had four empty glasses sitting on the table when asked if we were finished and needed anything else. She was more interested in hanging around the server station in the middle of the restaurant than serving us. Even when I told her to take the salad off the bill and she offered to comp my one drink, the bill was still like $130 not counting the tickets. Sorry, but there are so many better choices in Cleveland for comparable cost and way way better service.

We met my husband's cousin at Pickwick because she was visiting with her family from Ann Arbor, MI. and staying in downtown CLE. We hadn't seen them in years and never met their 3 kids. Had to pick a restaurant that had a somewhat kid-friendly menu and that had great food for adults too. Pickwick fit the bill and was a great selection. Hope to get back for another great dining experience.

My husband and I were attending a show at Hilarities' and elected to have dinner prior to the show. Jersey was our server and he was very attentive and professional. We had been here for dining several times in the past, and kind of forgot how good it was. Our dinner plans will include dinner here again. I had the spaghetti squash (although not a vegan) and it was outstanding. My husband said the chocolate mousse was the best he's ever had.
Thanks for a great night out!!
