The meat here is unparalleled. Everything cooked to perfection. The salad bar is also amazing and delicious though would recommend filling up on the salad bar. The wrapped filet is possibly the best thing have ever eaten. The wine list has a really good selection and the servers are friendly. More

The evening celebration was for my wife's 50th birthday. I couldn't find a better place than McCormick & Schmick's to celebrate this special moment. The evening was also shared with family and friends. Everybody was impressed with the service and with their meals. My wife was all smiles. Thank you for making the night a wonderful and memorable evening. More

The first dish that came out was the crispy salmon skin nacho's. OMG. They were so good that we were sad when we finished the last one. It is one of those flavours that lingers in your memory like a perfect kiss; you know you will only be happy when you experience it again. Our server Sam was really helpful, willing to give suggestions and giving us the perfect amount of attention. She was there when we needed her. All in all, I'd say CoZara has risen to the top of our favorite restaurants in Philly... and we are exploring all of the top 50. More

Contemporary American | Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia

We used an open table gift card to do the tasting menu at the chef's counter. The service was excellent even though we were sitting at a bar-like table. It was fun to see the chefs cook, and they did talk to us briefly, though I would not say the chefs "guided us through the menu" as the description claimed. That said, our waiter provided all the explanation necessary, and my boyfriend and I had a fun time guessing which dishes we saw them preparing were for us! More

2. Vetri

Italian | Center City, Philadelphia

We completed our trifecta of fine Philly restaurants at Vetri after previous visits to Laurel & Marigold. Vetri was the pinnacle of perfect pasta creations, wonderful antipasti combos and unbelievable desserts. While most will not be eating here weekly since $155/ person plus wine at $70-150/bottle is a little pricey, it's great for special occasions. More

One of the best dinners I have ever had in my life. Every course was a masterpiece of art and flavor. The waitress was lovely, everything about the experience was incredible. So many combinations I had never tasted before, and special touches like shaved iced buttermilk on a gazpacho type cold soup sprinkled with foraged greens, looked like a miniature gnome could live in this small terrarium, so beautiful and delicious!! I also really appreciated the special detail to cutlery and dishes, for the fish an antique bent knife, for the lamb's neck an orange/white resin knife, the potato foam soup in a grey/white hand thrown artisan bowl, really just everything was so well thought out. Nick the chef/owner even came out and visited the tables, we really appreciated that, it showed his dedication and pride. Highly recommend, this was a lovely evening! More

Interesting concept in menu presentation. The first list of menu items are of moderate size. The next list of items are a larger plate, & the third list of offerings are small plates. So, depending on your level of hunger, you can control the quantity of food to match, by ordering varied plate sizes. More
