Food is excellent with many original offerings. Had the 2" pork chop (more like 1 1/2"). This is one of their specialties. Tasted very good but slightly overcooked. This place is expensive but still one of our favorite places to eat.

Came for anniversary. Had to send my steak back but replacement was excellent. My husband had famous pork chop and it was everything he expected it to be. Dessert was pie, also excellent. Only complaint is we got too full too fast and couldn't eat everything and couldn't take food out in carry out bag, as we were staying in lodge without fridge. Would definitely return!

Seated and greeted by a memorized explanation of the pork chops and pies. A recording would have been better. Food was expensive based on the quality. The bread baked in the flower pot was very good. Would not return.

We really enjoyed the food, good service and especially the atmosphere. We went the latter part of October and the room where we ate was already decorated for Christmas. The low lighting along with the Christmas lights made for a romantic setting . The long dresses the hostess's wore took you back in time.

We had the 2 inch pork chop. The "special" sauce poured over it was so salty that we had to wipe it off and put the chop on a clean plate. The flower pot bread was very tough, gummy and required two hands and a strong tug to tear apart. The salad was good.

Patti's is where we always go for an excellent dinner and for special occasions, even though it is a 2 hour drive for us. The ambiance as well as the 2" pork chop dinner and their mile- high meringue pies and sawdust pie are the best you will ever find. Everyone is dressed in period dress and make you feel welcome no matter what the occasion.

Patti's is known for their 2-inch thick pork chop which is what my husband and I got and shared. I suggest the spinach salad. By sharing, we had room for dessert. Our server offered to bring us a list of desserts or she could tell them to us. Of course, we asked her to name them, which she did! That was a show in itself! :) Definitely recommend eating at Patti's.

This was my first time to go to patties and I was very pleased just approaching the restaurant itself but when I went in I was amazed .our waitress and what I could see and hear from the other waitresses made it an even more pleasurable experience .iI'm telling you I didn't see one unhappy person in the place atmosphere and food (2" pork chop)was exceptionaexceptional ! I will be back and many thanks to the entire staff for making it such a wonderful place .

For all the hype, it was ok. The flower pot bread is novel but tastes like the ceramic on the outer edges. The chicken and vegetables were good but the well-known 2" pork chop was very salty and full of a sauce that was unappetizing. Our waiter was decent but forgot spoon for soup and had to ask for one. Chicken cheese soup was good. The outside grounds are pretty.

This is a restaurant that I have taken my children to for several years and the drive was always worth it - the food was always terrific - this time however - I took a good friend of mine who was celebrating her sixtieth year of life - and though the grounds still pretty much looked the same (minus the dyed blue water) and the fact that the surrounding area had grown quite a lot - from a personal stand point this time around the food which was a lunch fare - was truly nonplussed and fairly flavourless considering that it was supposed to be of a cajun variety. I suppose that eventually I may make my way up there - but driving more than two hours for something of extreme mediocrity is just disappointing at best really.

This was our first time there. The hostesses were not FRIENDLY. The first words spoken were take a seat it'll be five minutes, then turned her back to chat with her colleague.
The hostess who seated us was lovely, and our waitress was efficient and lovely. FOOD was delicious.
However, if your desk hostesses are the first people strangers meet, they did not show much Southern Hospitality.
I thought you should know.

All servers were very friendly and attentive. Reservation was adhered to and we were at out table withi 5-10 minutes of the appointed time. Food was excellent. A bit pricey for any regular family dining. For me, it would be a good place to go for special occasions. Go early to check out the shops in the village.

Food was wonderful as always. Restaurant was busy as usual and we waited about an hour and a half but we did show up pretty early. We had two waitresses who both seemed to work well together to get us taken care of. Great restaurant!

We have been to Patti's a number of times over the years. It's a nearly 6 hour drive from our house to Grand Rivers, but we make the trip once or twice a year just so we can enjoy dinner at Patti's. We have never had a bad dining experience when we were there. We recommend it to friends who are headed to western Kentucky.

We went to Patti's as a 3-couples group and had a very nice evening. As usual, the restaurant was very busy, but we felt we got our food in a reasonable time. Our food was good, especially the steaks and chops, but the two who had pasta dishes were not as pleased. Desserts were wonderful, and being able to order wine glasses to enjoy the wine we took there was a nice bonus. We usually enjoy looking around at the shops, etc. at Patti's but didn't allow time for that on this trip. We'll be back though.

Everything was good! The only complaint I have was the servers were not as attentive to a two person table as a large group. The only other suggestion would be we were in a room with a couple of large table groups who made a lot of noise. We were trying to have a nice quiet birthday celebration. It would be great if could be grouped differently.

We are from Western KY and moved to Louisville KY about 10 years ago. We brought our friends from to Louisville for the dining experience at Patti's. They said the pork chops were the best they had ever eaten and the desserts were to "die for" They also stated this was the best dining experience that they have ever had and it was worth the 3 hour drive. Thank you for not letting us down. My husband and I had built up the experience and you guys exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I came to Pattis on 10/8/16 for my birthday. We usually only come once a year on our anniversary, but we decided to celebrate my birthday there this year as well. I was extremely upset with our visit, as all of our other visits have been amazing. Our waitress was really sweet, and friendly. However, it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. We recieved our drinks, and within 10 minutes our appetizer, salads, and entrees came out all at the same time. We didn't even recieve our flowerpot bread (our favorite part) until AFTER we recieved our meals. Our meals were warm, not hot. We both ordered pasta, and it was sticky like they'd been sitting a minute. My husband also informed our waitress it was my birthday, and our complimentary dessert was boxed up and put in the bag with our leftovers and not brought to the table. Super upset with this visit, not sure we will return.

I've been to Patti's on several occasions. It's always a treat! My absolute favorite item on the menu is their coconut cake! No matter what I have while I am there, a huge slice always goes home with me to be enjoyed later!

We were traveling so arrived early and they seated us within 15 minutes of arriving, much to our surprise after a long trip. The food is exceptional and loved the gift shop in the restaurant. We were disappointed that the other shops were not open, the sign stated hours until 8:00 but they were closed when we got there before 7:00.
