Paseo Grill Ratings and Reviews

Paseo Grill is one of my wife's favorite restaurants and that is where she wanted to have her birthday dinner. I made reservations a couple days in advance of our Saturday evening visit. Even though we had a reservation we were seated way in the back along with another group whose conversation was very loud. We were initially met by one server who took drink orders and then seemed to disappear. Another server eventually took over and brought the drinks. I had ordered a beer (IPA) and asked for a glass. She returned with a pilsner glass which is not an appropriate glass for the IPA. I am an admitted beer snob, but I simply asked for another more appropriate glass and she seemed a bit put out by my request but did return with another glass. We ordered as an appetizer the "special" soup of the day which was crab and seafood bisque. It had plenty of crab and seafood along with an abundance of salt. Way too salty! So salty that we needed more water, but the server seemed to disappear again and we had to ask another waitperson for water refills. I ordered a ribeye steak. When the food arrived I received not a ribeye but a strip steak. It was good but not what I had ordered. My wife said her entree (sea bass) was very good. When I made the reservation I included a note that it was my wife's birthday dinner. At no time did anyone from the restaurant acknowledge that. Bottom line, food was good even though I got the wrong cut of meat. The table was in the back and noisy. The service was just OK and bordering on poor. We usually enjoy our time at Paseo Grill, but this experience was not one of those times.

we love Paseo Grill for lunch or special occasion dinner. Our server was delightful - She made great recommendations, was attentive, responsive and friendly. My friend had the pot pie. Said the flavor was great without a heavy gravy inside. I had a delicious salad with crab and avocado. Of course, Paseo's bread pudding is the perfect comfort dessert/treat - Excellent!

My absolute favorite restaurant in okc: we have never had a bad time or bad meal here. Service is great, atmospher is great and the food is to die for. I had the chicken saltimboca. It's just so good. I look forward to the nights we go eat here!

The service was very good but a bit slow bring out the courses. We ordered the special for he evening for two which included two 6 oz. filet and one pound of king crab legs for my wife's birthday dinner. The steaks were both under cooked and the server asked "How do you want them prepare" we said "Medium rare". After the discussion how to cook a steak, we realized they are not a steak house. So we waited for the steaks and crab again and now the steak are over cooked with the crab sitting under a heating source until the steaks returned left the crab very rubbery. All to say, for a house special for $107 the manager took off the steaks and provided a dessert on them. our bill was over $75 for a pound of crab. I bit over priced for crab. This was a approximately a 2 hour meal we did not enjoy.

Our first time there. It was my birthday. We will definitely be back. The food was amazing, our server, Emily, was phenominal and the experience was over the top. Can't wait to get back there. This is our new "special occasion" restaurant.

Listen well to the specials as they are usually something like a fresh seafood item or premium cut of protein; well worth the price. Their vegetable sides and deserts are delicious and come in generous portions. The pork chops are prepared very well and will rival the beef dishes for excellence and flavor.

Second visit to Paseo Grill and was not disappointed. The specials are always outstanding and the menu offers a lot of variety. Talia was our server and did a great job, despite the First Friday crowd. With so many new restaurants popping up in OKC, it's great to go back to an established place and have a consistent experience that makes you want to go again.
