We had an incredible experience at Pappas. They truly know how to prepare a special cut of meat in a special way. The overall dining experience was excellent. Be sure to check out their wine list - it has nearly no comparison in DFW.

We were disappointed in the rib eye. My wife's was very chewy. Not what we have come to expect from at $$$$ Steak House. She should have sent it back but she doesn't like to make the table uncomfortable.
We've been to Papa Bro's twice. The first time was great. This time, not so much.

Another anniversary dinner and the overall experience was incredible. The server, Anthony, was friendly, prompt, and engaging. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. The food was delicious, as usual, and cooked to perfection. The appetizer was also a winner (lobster deviled eggs).

I have been wanting to go to Pappas Bros since it opened nearly twenty years ago. I have many great steak places within a few minutes of my house. Pappas is 45 minutes away. I saw Pappas at the top of the best steak places once again and made my pilgrimage. Our experience was great. The service was excellent. We had dry aged NY Strip, incredible! The salad, shrimp cocktail, au gratin potatoes and asparagus were fine as well. We had no intention of having dessert, but our waiter said the pecan pie was a favorite and the chocolate bread pudding sounded good. Both were fantastic. The Somm suggested Piocho from Happy Valley Winery in Santa Ynez Valley as a "best bang for the buck." It was great. We will definitely go back.

The sides dishes were better than the steaks. The steaks were not the usual dry aged steaks we are used to. The steaks were very thick and at times tough. The peppercorn sauce took away the flavor of the steaks. To use dry aged steaks should not need to buy cut with a steak knife. You should be able to cut it with a fork. The desserts looked amazing but was so full we couldn't fit anything else. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Overpriced in my opinion. Over $500 for 5 people.

Another great meal at Pappa Bros Steakhouse. This is the second time we have been here for dinner since moving to the Dallas area and I believe Pappa Bros is the best steakhouse in the DFW metroplex! Highly recommend.

Steaks are consistently fabulous and cooked to order. The sides are all so, so delicious it is hard to decide what to order, same for the appetizers, soups and salads! All great choices.
I was intrigued by the lobster deviled eggs so tried them this visit. They were delicious but I wasn't expecting the red pepper on the egg white. Definitely an appetizer to share. Also tried the crab macaroni and cheese and oh my goodness was it heavenly! We always appreciate the dessert treat on our anniversary or special occasion! Nice touch Pappa's! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Great dry aged prime beef. Best NY Strip I have had in a long time. Australian Lobster tails a bit expensive but very high quality and cooked perfectly. Crab Cake App and Shrimp Remoulade were outstanding. May be a bit noisy for some making it difficult for conversation. Booths in front of open kitchen seemed a bit more quiet. Love this place and Josiah our server was outstanding. Guest service is exemplary. Good cocktails and decent wine list.

I have to Pappas Brothers many times and I always enjoy my stay. However, the parking attendants need to be more careful. I just had my car detailed before coming to the restaurant Saturday night and I noticed some scrapes on the back left side of my SUV Sunday morning. I know nothing will be done about it but I wanted to bring it to their attention.

Have been going to Pappas for 20 years. We've been to many of the Dallas Steakhouses and this is still our favorite! The food never disappoints and the service is always quite good.
We needed to increase our reservation from 5 to 7 this year with little notice and the restaurant figured out a way to accommodate us, which was very much appreciated.

Food, service and decor were all great. We really appreciated attention to acoustics. Most restaurants don't do this. We were in a packed restaurant with lots of buzz, but we were able to enjoy the company of our friends and our dinner without yelling across the table.

First time at Pappas to celebrate a birthday. We definitely picked the right place. Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the menu and also gave good recommendation on wine. Our New York steak and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. The complimentary birthday dessert was a nice surprise and absolutely delicious.
Pappa's has always been one of our favor ...
Pappa's has always been one of our favorite places in Dallas to celebrate a special evening. We went to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday - I even called ahead and said that is what we were celebrating. Unfortunately she didn't bring her purse/therefore her ID (neither did I by the way). Apparently it's their policy not to serve ANYONE without an ID that doesn't look 35 even if they're with their family. So instead of having a celebratory bottle of wine - or champagne - we went without. We almost left to go somewhere else - but stayed. The food was still good - although a ribeye is now $52. I have to say I'm not sure we'll be going back....due to being outrageously priced, and on the principle that their policy put a damper on what should have been a really nice evening. Happy 21st - not really.
