Liked the margarita pizza. Wine list by the glass has many great options.
Great authentic Italian cuisine with excellent service. Every time I go to Indy, I try to go there.
Nothing to add. Enjoyable evening. Good food. Good sevice.
A haven in an otherwise noisy hotel. Excellent veal and attentive server.
For the price food was very average. Servers were very freindly and on top of things.
Came for Valentine's Day. Great ambiance, and pricing
Waiter attentive, but rushed
Extremely cold in this place
will not return
First time here, great food and service , I had the chicken Parmesan and was very tasty and unique , girlfriend had the smoked chicken tortellini , I tried it and was amazing! Great place for itilian cuisine and isn't your normal chain restaurant
Ordered the veal, had a very strange sauce for my palette, was $40.00! not worth it in my opinion as I couldn't even finish it. Would not recommend.
Great date with my beautiful wife
Wife and I went as a pre-Ash Wednesday dinner. The decorating was "dull" --- very little color in the room. Waitress must have been new. Perhaps she had too many tables to serve (I counted six). We ordered a moderately-priced white wine. It came to the table WARM. The waitress brought an ice bucket but we had to wait quite a while to get it chilled. Food was very good. It was very nicely presented. I had clams with pasta. The wife had smoked-chicken stuffed ravioli.
My clams were plump and perfectly cooked. However, the dish really needed more flavoring. Some garlic and white wine and some herbs would have been nice. Probably won't be back as there are better Italian restaurants in the city.
Our favorite menu item was the calamari appetizer (which also included fried shrimp and the most scrumptious fried artichoke hearts)--well complemented by good (but not quite cold enough) gin martinis. The ambiance is warm and cozy (we had a nice u-shaped booth by the window, looking in toward the kitchen) and the kids loved their individual (but big!) pizzas from the kids' menu. Alas, our marguerita pizza was waaaay too salty. We had the breakfast buffet the next morning as part of our hotel stay and it was FANTASTIC.
Food was great, asked for table away from the large parties, only to end up by the kitchen where we could hear the staff talking. Apparently someone went home early “sick” and they thought he was full of it..... too bad, the chef was right there and wasn’t concerned about their noise level. Other than that, food was great.
We had terrific waiter and food was tasty. My glass of wine was just right.
Delicious food & great value with the Devour Indy option!
Long wait time but great atmosphere!
Enjoyed the sea bass and was able to have it with mashed potatoes instead of polenta. The Napa Cellars Merlot was an awesome wine choice.
Very disappointed in food at high end Hotel!! In fact very disappointed in food anywhere.
Loud. Good food. Loud.
Solid. Great server. Had nice Chianti, appetizer and gluten free pasta with meatballs.
Appetizers and food were outstanding. Atmosphere was very pleasant.
Sadly I was sick for two days after eating there. I knew immediately after the meal that something wasn’t right. It happens but just can’t recommend.
I had the opportunity of dining here with a couple of my friends and their 2 year old— it was a marvelous experience:
Everything from the hostess greeting you warmly—wait staff being friendly, efficient and genuinely attentive—To the food being delicious and good portion sizes for the cost—I personally got the chicken parm (enough for two meals) It was slightly pricy but overall for the quality of food I would say it is absolutely worth it—it’s quaint, not overcrowded. O.P. Is located in a nice spot where there is easy nearby parking in & close By (unlike many downtown options where you often cannot find parking conveniently). I had a wonderful experience, it was quiet but still allowed for great conversation to blossom, it was comfortable and I entered & left the evening pleased with my selection—absolutely will be back again! ♥️

Service was awful and good was just okay for the price. It took an hour for sea bass and the waiter was nonchalant about it. I've dined here before and the service gets worse every time! Would not recommend
Went here for New Years absolutely awful best thing I had all night was the gelato... spent 75 dollars on this meal. I ordered Lasgna first time it came out it was cold. You could tell it was pre-prepared and either put in the fridge or freezer. It’s also soup I wouldn’t call it lasagna because it had maybe 3 pieces of pasta in it maybe, it was hard to tell since I could barely see my food with how dark it was. The second time they brought it out it was warm (barely) but it too was soupy. It was like I ordered meat sauce and cheese to be put in a bowl frozen together then heated. Would have preferred them to use a microwave to heat it because it might have actually gotten warm. On top of all this I spent 2 hours at the restaurant because for every task the waiter had he took 20 min to do it. Just awful and on top of that I didn’t even get a discount on my 20 dollar lasgna soup. If you want to get pasta I would recommend Olive Garden, and fazolis over this place that’s how bad it is. I’m not saying the other two are bad but when you go to a restaurant that charges 20 bucks for an entre you expect to it to not taste like a can of chef boyardee.
We went for New Year’s Eve and everyone enjoyed their entree. The decor is modern and very nice.
Went for NYE dinner. Service was great. Waitress was awesome. Highly recommended.
It was the perfect meal and experience to end 2017. Will definitely be back
Very convenient place when you’re visiting the state museum. We would probably have gone somewhere else if it hadn’t been so cold.
We made reservations for lunch and were disappointed to learn upon our arrival that only breakfast is served on Sunday. The hostess was less than friendly not only to our table, but to all she came in contact with. The waitress was friendly and good. While we were disappointed only to have breakfast available, the quality of the food was very good.
Stayed at hotel for Birthday
Beautiful restaurant with great service and food!
We were in a hurry to go to a show. Our server got us in & served quickly. The bread & dip is so good! My husband and I both ordered off the pasta menu. Mine (Hay & Straw) was enough for a small entree, my husband's (Tortelloni) was more like a starter. Both were tasty.
Such a disappointment. Average food, poor service, low value, would not recommend when so many choices.
Made 615p reservation, OpenTable advises free self park or $7 valet. This is not true! There is no valet for other than overnight guest, and free parking is a joke. When we left stopped at Host Stand and were given two vouchers but advised only good for an hour and a half (2 of us drove). Didn't imagine the 0-4 hour rate was an additional $23 each after believing our $300+ dinner was accompanied by free parking. So up your tab by 15% due to exceedingly slow and inattentive service that will result in a 3+ hour dinner. Checked in first, second party came later and the check in told her they didn't know where we were sitting but she could look around. Really? They had just seated us with reservations.
Server showed up with three of us, we ordered a bottle of wine, a glass of wine, and brushetta. The brushetta came later, was decent, but lots of topping would have been great if he had shown up with break he promised in a timely manner. We didn't get bread until we were well into the entrees.
Other parties arrived and we ordered more wine. Server (Wayne) consistently disappeared for long periods. Getting additional drinks, etc., was challenging at best. Maybe he was overworked or something? No explanation or apology when we had to remind him of things he forgot.
Entrees included 2 Spaghetti, 2 Tortellini, and a salmon, They were okay, however, nothing outstanding. Maybe equal to a Bravo or Mac Grill level. Certainly not what one would expect from such an acclaimed restaurant. Ordered desserts, they were okay.
All in all a disappointment. $317 tab, tipped 20% but not sure why. Because I feel like servers should be, and paid the extra $56 (the other party couldn't get what amounted to a $10 voucher for parking to work) for parking.
Have stayed at the JW for a night before. It is a nice property. Don't recommend anything other than the bar for a drink.
Absolutely a great dining experience. Pasta was superb!
We ordered 3 out of the 4 pizzas. All were ready good. My favorite was the salomi. Service was quick and friendly. The waiter new all the selections on the menu. This was our 2nd visit.
Three of us ate here. Service was casual but 100 per cent aimed at the customer experience.
My only complaint was that my Pizza was way oversalted. Everything else was excellent.
Great Italian food!! Exceeded our expectations! Would highly recommend !
We have been there for several events and enjoy the location, food and service. Our waiter Wayne was excellent and gave us great service and was helpful in selecting from the menu for both food and drink.
My clam pasta was a bit bland and little amount of clams. My guests thought the gnocchi was tasty. We ordered pizza for appetizer but it came out the same time as our dinner. I'd go back to try other foods and then make a decision later if I'd recommend to others. The ambience is hip and trendy.
