The service was great and the food was amazing. It was an excellent experience.
We had never been to Opus before. Not knowing what to expect, the Opus Prime Steakhouse met and exceed all expectations. The lobster cargo was amazing and the filet mignons were outstanding with perfect seasoning. Also, the service was excellent too.
Overall it was an extremely good experience and we are looking forward to going back to Opus with our friends.
Went on a date with my boyfriend to Opus Prime last night. The hostess was friendly and our waiter, Micah, was very nice and hilarious. The food tasted good and I really enjoyed the Mac-n-Cheese. This was our second time coming to Opus Prime (The first time we came this past V-day and it was a bit hectic); I'd recommend coming on a slower night. Special thanks to the owner for providing such great customer service. We'll be back soon!
We chose to dine at the bar this time and had a great time with Bridgette. The food was awesome and service was great.
The food was excellent and the staff very professional like always is.
One of the best places for business meetings in the state.
This was our first visit to Opus and it was a great experience. My filet was perfect and my wife said hers was as well. We split a lobster mac and cheese that was a meal in itself. I am so glad we visited as we have now found our new spot.
It was a wonderful dining experience. The food was extremely good, served in a timely manner as expected. Our server was polite and knowledgeable.
Overall a great evening.
We really enjoy the staff and friendliness at Opus. Food is great and we always feel that they truly care about our experience. It is pretty cool in this day and time to get that.
Our service is always outstanding! Stathis is great at anticipating our needs and making great suggestions when we want to try different items. Thank you for being such a consistent place to enjoy a great dinner.
The Opus was again a great experience with wonderful food and service.
Disappointed. We have been frequent guests at Opus as it is in the neighborhood. Seems like things have changed. Food was good but overpriced for what we got. Sides were limited and 3 of us had entree only. Wine selection was not good at all. After sending the first glass back, we couldn't even get a taste of another one without buying at least an ounce. We asked for a quiet table out of the way and they placed us at the table directly in front of the door to the private room where a dozen or so men were watching the basketball game. It was like we were in a sports bar.
Always wonderful! The service is outstanding. This is a go-to spot for a relaxing dining that’s a step above the others!
Outstanding! Food, service, wine were all wonderful.
I always go back to this restaurant when I want a great business dinner.
Never disappointed.
I’ve never had a bad experience! Great food, great service, & great value!
Another great dinner at Opus. My business guest was very impressed with the level of the service, the wine selection, and the food.
Always my first choice for a business dinner. Thanks, Opus.
We had a great evening. The food is always superb and they always have new and interesting wines to try. 😍
Great food and service. Steaks were outstanding. Delicious sides and desserts.
The food was amazing! We had the lobster cargo, the chopped salad, the filet mignon, mushrooms, and maple glazed carrots as our side dishes.
The service was great and the ambiance was 5-star!
We keep returning to Opus because of the great steaks and friendly staff. Some of their servers have been there for many years. It makes it nice when you are recognized by them.
Wonderful dinner for Valentine's
We always have the best service and food at Opus. It is always our go to place for a great meal. The restaurant is quiet with a romantic environment. We love Opus!
Best bone in ribeye in OKC. Tried two other steakhouses before trying Opus and wish I would have gone here first. I will be back.
I have very serious food allergies (I can only eat about 30 different foods) and also have allergies to many seasonings (like garlic). Because of this it is very difficult for me to eat at restaurants for fear of cross contamination I have not eaten at a restaurant in about 18 months and have been making all my meals at home. The manager, Billy, offered to have the chef make my salmon in separate pans and showed the chef a list of foods I could have so he could create a custom veggie side dish for me (asparagus with sauteed spinach and shallots). The food was delicious, the staff was gracious, and I had no allergic reactions! I was very happy with my experience and would highly recommend to anyone! (Special thanks to the kitchen staff for being so accommodating!)
Only 4 stars because my wife's signature salad was a bit soggy however the steak and sides were amazing! The wine list is extensive and the services was second to none.
Celebrated Valentines with a great dinner and special bottle of wine. 🍷
The Opus Prime Steakhouse is the perfect place to go for excellent food and amazing service.
We love this place. You can carry a conversation without having to scream.
It is so hard to beat this place.
Great steaks. Large gluten free menu was a big plus for my wife with Celiacs disease.
-Table not immediately ready with reservation
-Seated near bar
-Waitress did not know Menu
-Waitress brought another tables wine to ours and did not catch for about 10 minutes -
-Courses took along time to come out
The restaurant had published the “set menu” online for all of the Valentine’s Day reservations several weeks in advance, but then changed 2 of the set menu items to cheaper alternatives when we arrived for our dinner that evening: Tomato Bisque instead of the “Lobster Bisque” promised, and a dry chocolate lava cake (without any pudding-like “lava” in the middle: just tasted like a dry muffin!) instead of the “Chocolate Decadence Cake” promised!! It was definitely “bait & switch,” and in fact, the original Valentine’s menu is still posted on their Facebook page!! For the $89.00 per person price ($180.00 for the two of us, plus tax, tips, & drinks) and the set items listed on the advertised menu, we deserved much better, including accountability in advertising! We noticed that there were not as many diners that evening as we had thought there would be, so we surmised they must have altered the set menu and cut costs on a couple of items to compensate for that. We will not be back!
This was the second time we had dinner at this location. The first time was wonderful. The waiter was extremely good and definitely left a great impression. The wine was good and the food was even better. This dining experience was very different. Our waitress seemed to be doing the best she could, but seemed very overwhelmed. The wine was fine, but the food was not. My husband got the streak and I got the sea bass. The sea bass and risotto was not cooked properly and my husband was ill all the next day. For as expensive as the meal was and the lack of quality, we most likely won't be returning.
My wife and I tried Opus for Valentines Day. They were not prepared for that evening. It took over 20 mins to get our drinks ordered, the the wait staff would disappear for 20 mins at a time before coming back to take our order or refills. We took our desserts to go after we had been there for over and hour and half. And they brought our appetizers out twice - they seemed very confused and not organized. The food was pretty good but there are too many steak houses in OKC that have great service for us to return here.
Valentines. Great experience, Again!!!
I booked this for Valentine’s Day 3 weeks early. I was not aware it would be a special menu. The menu didn’t have what I wanted to eat. The seafood linguini dish I had was poorly described and not at all what I expected! My husbands steak was improperly over cooked but didn’t want to wait for another after waiting an hour and a half for it! The best part of the meal was the crab cake, everything else had been pre-prepared and not good.....Need a better, less expensive wine list. First time to eat here, sadly the last. I had hoped it might compare to Mahogany but no, not at all!
Overall Opus is a very nice restaurant. Obviously popular too. The food was good and Keith, our waiter, was excellent. However, where they sat us was less than satisfactory. If we had not made reservations I would have no right to complain. However, I made reservations two weeks in advance. This was for a valentines dinner, and they sat us right next to the bar where all the waiters pick up drink orders, kitchen entrance and path to the restrooms. Not exactly romantic. Very disappointed. And right before we left the manager comes by and says we didn’t get charged for the entertainment, ha ha...not.
My husband and I had a wonderful date. The service staff was friendly we got started off with a little loaf of bread and it was hot, soft and fresh , the appetizer we got was lobster cargo and it was buttery goodness. Cowboy cut was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a chocolate cake called decadence and it was divine. Overall a wonderful date.
The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were wonderful and our server was really good. It was a great evening.
Amazing food!
This steakhouse was a good choice for my wife and I to have a good night out together. Had a couple of dislikes of the food. First had the oysters for the app. They were served on a oyster platter not on ice. Not very cold like we like our oysters. But we’re very good. Not sure of the type of oyster we’re not told. We ordered the strip steak medium rare. Steak was cooked perfect very good flavor but had a chunk of bone which I bite into was not pleased about it. The sides, asparagus and baked potato were very good hard to mess those up. After main course we both ordered desserts. She ordered the key lime pie and I ordered the bananas fosters. She like the pie but did not like the cheap tasting lime syrup drizzled on top. My fosters had bananas that were not ripe and had a bad starchy taste to them would have been very good with a ripe banana. Overall would eat here again.
Wait staff is amazing! Best filet mignon in the area by far. The first time that we had the lobster cargo. It is a must! Exceptional wine selection, some rare bottles that we love!
We appreciate Opus prime steakhouse.
