Went for brunch before a show on Saturday. The food was very good and service was too. I had the Big Island Tacos with mahimahi and some papaya cabbage slaw. It was delish. We originally opened in 1937 as a full tavern on Richmond Avenue, Staten Island until Carlo Denino introduced Pizza in 1951. Since then, Denino’s Pizzeria and Tavern has been renowned for our pizza pie and Italian dinner platters, which we always prepare fresh daily. We use our family’s recipes for Chicken Parmigiana, Meatballs and Sausage and over the years we’ve added our own version of tavern favorites like Wings, Scungilli and Hero Sandwiches.
Everything is always made from scratch, never frozen, and cooked to order.

The kitchen table experience differs significantly from the main dining room in that is meant to have the feel of a dinner party with friends. The rustic style wooden table with wooden benches and chairs features solid ash wood from the Dolomites in northeastern Italy by Luca Nichetto, lends itself to communal seating and an unobstructed view to our kitchen. Located just outside our open kitchen, the table’s deliberate simplicity is the perfect canvas for chef’s creations specific to the kitchen table.
Up to 9 guests dine at the communal style table with one seating per evening. We ask that guests arrive on time as dinner will start promptly. The 10-12 course menu is priced at $185 per person. Bookings can be made for parties of 2 - 9. Please note that the Kitchen Table is limited in its ability to accommodate dietary restrictions. Reservations are accepted 30 days in advance online and 60 days in advance by directly contacting the restaurant. More
