Mon Ami Gabi - Las Vegas - Main Dining Room Ratings and Reviews
We went here for a special occasion and it wasn't quite the setting I expected it to be. It was very loud and had rock music playing instead of relaxing dinner music. That aside, the waiter was a joy, interactive and food came out quickly. Duck confit was fantastic, as was the lamb. The tenderloin was just a steak, although the wine sauce was quite exquisite. Dessert was quite amazing too. The plates looked like they were licked clean. No complaints on the food or service, just the ambiance. But that won't prevent us from going back!
Amazon food first went there for breakfast and it was so good went back the next day for dinner. Next to Joe's my favorite place to eat in Vegas and patio seating gives you great view of strip. Highly recommend . Also I don't suggest any of the restaurants at the Bellagio average food and ridiculously overpriced.
Had my birthday there. Made reservation for 10, but ended having 20 friends instead. The lady at the front was a bit annoyed by it, but overall they seated us. Allowed us to bring a cake in and put it in their fridge for us. They did charge a $30 fee for bringing the cake which was ok. But the food was delicious. So flavorful. The waitress were so patient with us all. Even one of the guys that worked there was so nice to get a group pictures of us. I would love to eat there again.
We were sat down at a corner table by a less than enthused waiter. Once he took our orders he never came back until we asked for the check. Food was okay, he seemed annoyed we didn’t want to order a full bottle instead of individual glasses (we’re not heavy drinkers and wanted to pace ourselves since it was a Monday). We had to ask for specials, and the dessert menu. He didn’t recommend a wine, even when we asked. So honestly the service made it a 2/10 at best. Will not come back.
Great steaks and great service! Make sure to make a reservation. We asked to sit on the main dining room but was put next to the bar near the patio with the doors open. The seats are close together so beware but the food is great. The French onion soup was a great starter.
I was very excited to treat my nieces to a night out in Las Vegas. I made rerservations at Mon Ami Gabi and came away disappointed. Our waiter and all of the waitstaff were really terrific. The amuse bouche and baquette was really good. My neice and I both had the dinner special, Beef Wellington, and I was beyond disappointed. It tasted like a hunk of flavorless, chewy stew meat in a flavorless puff pastry. I wish I would have ordered something different. My niece is too nice to complain, but I could tell that she did not enjoy it either. My other niece had the steak classique and was also not impressed. She mostly picked at her food to be polite. My daughter had a soup that she loved. All-in-all, there are many great Lettuce restaurants, but I would not bother with this one.
We were there for breakfast and had to send our food back 3 times to have the eggs cooked as per requested. They never did get it right. Both our meals were not as ordered. HUGE disappointment. The server was very nice, but, unfortunately, would not recommend.
We always go to Mon Ami Gabi when in Vegas. We love the food and the service is wonderful. However, we made a reservation well in advance and the table reserved for us, was very crowded and not in the MAIN DINING ROOM, in the bar. We love it and will be back, but was just disappointed in our seating this time.
We had made a made a reservation weeks in advance at Mon Ami Gabi, but despite this we still had to wait in line and were then given an awkward table too close to others and with the server’s station so close they had to use a shelf just behind my husband’s ear to store their water jugs. This became quite annoying as they came and went frequently. Service was good but not very warm and friendly. The food was average. I had the coarse pate which was quite fatty and the salmon which was slightly overcooked. My husband’s meal was better with a tasty French onion soup and lamb shank.
The problem with this restaurant is that they are too oversubscribed to be able to give the level of service expected in a typical French bistro, so in Vegas it felt less authentic which was disappointing.
A great restaurant right outside the Paris Hotel and opposite the Balagio fountains. The food is outstanding and the best meal we had in Las Vegas by a mile. The tables by the patio are in a perfect spot for viewing the fountains and the standard of service is excellent. If you are in Vegas you must eat at this restaurant.
This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Las Vegas. The major problem was the food. It was not fresh and not hot. It was like it had been sitting around for some time with some fresh lettuce scattered on the Dover Sole. I took one bite and sent both dishes back. The seared Sea Scallops were also cold and served on a cold plate. When dinner was returned, they were the same dishes, which appeared to have been zapped in the microwave. The spinach had been seared and was no longer fresh. Returning the same plates of food that wasn’t freshly cooked does not make it fresh. The server asked if he could bring us anything else. I responded, the check. A manager came over for an explanation and took off the food, but left us with the bottle of wine which the two of us had only one half a glass and a Macallan 12 that costs $34.20. Outrageous.
