We met the owners. They are very nice people. The food was excellent, very fresh. The atmosphere is crisp and modern. The background music was very Italian romance. Due Baci is Roman Italian cooking with an emphasis on seafood. We make our own pasta, bread and desserts and we don't use any chemicals, stocks or flavorings. From gnocchi pomodoro to grilled octopus, sea bass, snapper, clams and mussels, everything comes fresh and is made at the moment in the tradition of Mamma Rosinella's kitchen.
We are located in South Beach's best local neighborhood, Sunset Harbor. The owner and founder of Peppers, David Gonzalez, was born and raised in Mexico and has fused together his own family recipes along with ones from the other chefs.A great amount of research was done to meet our goals, such as visiting the marketplaces in Mexico to find the top flavors and recipes being used throughout Mexico. We studied the core of Mexican culture so that we can bring back some of that and incorporate that lifestyle to the Peppers brand. More
