Mastro's Ocean Club - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews

We sat in the treehouse!!!! We were a group of six ranging in age from 31 to 60. We had vegetarians, foodies, seafood junkies and meat eaters, everyone was blown away by the ambiance, food, and sides. Can't wait to go back. The fish is big enough to be shared, if you can bear it. I shared the rib in steak with two others and it was 22ounces the rib was four ounces. We found it to be quite perfect. About 4 to 5 ounces per person. I really enjoyed the sides. Appetizers included Caesar salad - excellent, chopped salad-very good and shrimp cocktails. Mains were both Arctic char and sole - both excellent.
Desert were very nice we had the house chiffon cake and the chocolate cake. Coffees were good. I prefer them hotter.
Service was attentive and we felt there were many excellent staff fulfilling our needs. It was very busy and the atmosphere was charged. The treehouse makes the entire experience even more special.
We will be back.

I've been to 5 Mastro's in the U.S. and was very excited to try out the Las Vegas location. Mastro's is hands down my favorite restaurant for great food and service. My parents were visiting and we decided to go here for seafood. I'm a huge fan of the Tomahawk chop (not on the menu) and was very happy that it was available. Definitely recommend this cut of steak if you've never had it. Two people can share it, it's divine. The martinis are excellent as well. Started off with a salted carmel martini and ordered a bottle of Leviathan with dinner. We shared the seafood tower (presentation amazing) with dungeness crab, shrimp and lobster. All delicious, my favorite was the shrimp. At the end we shared the warm butter cake, which is truly a must. I took 1 star off the overall and ambiance because a table of two girls sat behind us who were there only for drinks, talking about their cell phones and boyfriend drama which proved to be distracting from the amazingness of the meal and service. The LV location is very open and different from the other Mastros. When you walk into the other Mastro's restaurants, you immediately smell the yummy scent of steak. That's missing at this location. The bar area is very close to the dining area and took away from the dining experience for me. The food/service absolutely amazing, but the location and restaurant layout was not as excellent as the other Mastro locations. I definitely recommend for a mind blowing steak and seafood, just ask for a table away from the bar area.

It was a great evening. Robert our server knew the menu and was very informal and didn't leaving us guessing. For the wine, I asked to match the wine with my dinner, and what a great choice.
The sea bass blackened was a "hit out of the park", while the wife had the 12 oz fillet. We split our plates and had the best "surf and turf" dinner anywhere...
The birthday cake at the end was the final capper to the dinner. Hat's off to the great team there.

This place has never disappointed me...have been going to this restaurant for years now. Their warm butter cake is a must have for dessert and their seafood tower is the best and freshest that I have ever had.
Their wait staff does above and beyond to make sure your dinning experience is enjoyable.

This was my first visit to a Mastro's and it could not have been any better. The food, service and overall ambiance were outstanding. The wine list is extensive, the fresh fish listings were expansive. The servers were knowledgeable and unbelievably responsive. The only slight negative is the noise level which was a bit louder than I expected. Other than that this restaurant is perfection!!

A Fabulous dinning experience. Ambience, service and food was outstanding. Extremely large portions. My Chilean Sea Bass was delicious. It was delicate and sweet. Sides were fabulous and large. They included smashed sweet potatoes, brussle sprouts and spinach. Everything tasted amazing. Service was fabulous. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

Just excellent food and service. When ordering be certain to be extra hungry or decide ahead of time to share either sides or appetizers. Or if you are heading home ir to a hotel with a refrigerator plan to take a box. Steak and scallops were cooked to perfection and the sea bass was delicious. Seems like whatever your choice you can't go wrong at this restaurant.

We didn't have a great experience the night before at a restaurant so this brought our faith back to good food in Las Vegas. From the moment we sat down until we left the service was phenomenal. The food is outstanding and we can always count on having a great meal here.

Another fantastic experience of fresh fish, great drinks, perfect service and memorable ambiance. Always worth the money & effort to get here. My favorite restaurant in Vegas. Best sea bass I ever had. Side dishes can be ordered in half sizes. Don't be afraid to ask. Seems like they recently raised their martini prices. $20 Is a bit high.. Even for Vegas but still worth the experience.

We decided to choose Maestros Las Vegas to celebrate a birthday. The service was outstanding from the hostess stand to all the staff paying attention to our table. The steaks, crab legs and sea bass were all perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. The lobster bisque was rich and delicious. We were all so full that dessert wasn't even on the radar. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

My husband and I was celebrating my birthday. The customer service was impeccable. Our server Renee was excellent. The food was prepared wonderfully. We had the pleasure of meeting the regional Vice President Mr Hammann who just happened to originally be from our home town. We had a great conversation and he recognized my birthday which was special. To say the least we love Mastro's and will definitely be back. Thanks for a fantastic birthday celebration.

Our waiter, Robert, was excellent. Couldn't have dreamed of better service. The kitchen was moving a little slow and I had to send my steak back to get the requested temperature. Wasn't a super big deal, but for a restaurant with the reputation of Mastro's, it did seem out of character. Other than that, we had a great time.

We have enjoyed Mastro's in Vegas annually for a few years, every time we make a trip to Vegas. We requested every year the same server as he was as much a part of the experience as our food. Sadly this year we were already aware that Mike had moved on to bigger and better things, so we were received by another server who I have observed over the last couple years...one of the few women serving. I am not positive but I think her name was Sam, and she was lovely. She acknowledged that Mike was gone, but utilized all the notes that have been acquired in the system with each of our visits about our likes and dislikes. She also indicated that she would pass on greetings from us to Mike when she saw him next. While we missed our friend Mike... our experience was not unpleasant. The food was, as always, great and we were early enough in the evening that it wasn't terribly loud yet. My only complaint was the obvious presence of the floor manager, as we were finishing our bottle of wine, hovering nearby as if to be ready to pounce on our table upon our completion. Mike NEVER made us feel like we were rushed to leave, and this was by no means the fault of our server this year. Perhaps the manager or supervisor (whatever he is) should work on being more discreet.

Mastro's never disappoint. Whether it is in Costa Mesa, Scottsdale, or Las Vegas, the consistency of food, service, and ambiance is appreciated.
Must have: Butter Cake, Crab Cakes, Bone-in Rib Eye, Lobster Mashed Potatoes, Sea Bass. If they have the Spanish Prawns available, order it!

Wonderful experience! Started at the bar and enjoyed the bar staff and great drinks. The restaurant was great atmosphere, our waiter Nick was awesome and the food was exceptional, especially the Chilean Sea Bass which my wife enjoyed for our anniversary dinner. Strongly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

Around home, when I receive large portions it's easy to take home leftovers. On the Las Vegas Strip as a visitor, the large portions are a hindrance. The food was very good and priced like a new Bimmer, but half of it went to waste because of the portion sizes. If you go to Mastro's order like you're at Buca, in other words order one entree and split it. Sides are extra. One side dish feeds four. Order accordingly. Our service was flawless, but I hate wasting so much food.

Master's Ocean Club was highly recommended by a friend who travels to LV for business and conferences. It was also next door from the Aria where we were staying for a conference.
I took two of my colleagues there and we enjoyed a very good meal. The tab was in line with comparable Las Vegas high end restaurants. Our waiter was great and the young ladies at the host area were tremendous; friendly, funny and courteous.
The cocktails were excellent. Steak and seafood were very good as well.

Mastro's will always be special for my wife and I -- we had our wedding reception there five years ago. A very special person is Carly Smith, their events coordinator who took care of coordinating every single detail from making our private room extraordinarily beautiful and elegant to the impeccable service to the exquisitely prepared assortment of dishes that our guests and us continue to rave about five years later.
We dine here whenever we are in Las Vegas, which included this past Saturday night. The food is beyond extraordinary (appetizers were shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare on a wonton crisp, entrees were rack of lamb and Hawaiian ahi tuna...and do NOT miss their signature dessert, the butter cake) and the service is impeccable (thank you, Rene).
Mastro's is a consistently wonderful experience, and it is so nice that they continue to take care of us (they know where we like to sit and what we usually like to eat and drink) even though we are not what I would call regulars in the sense that we usually are there only once a year. If you are in Vegas, Mastro's is an absolute must for dining.

This was my 1st time and the service was great, and the food from apitizers to the main course was just delicious. The cold seafood sampler platter was so good, the rib eye was cooked to perfection and the scallops were just amazing. Thank you so much .. my birthday was made better by having dinner here with my friends... From San Diego, Ca.
