Market Tavern Ratings and Reviews
This is one of our favorite dining spots and our last visit was wonderful. We've ordered just about everything off the menu and have been consistently impressed with the quality of the food and the service. We ordered pizzas and beer. They have a wonderful selection of pizzas and we were knocked out by the mushroom and gruyere pizza. The beer menu is quite good with a number of microbrews on ta and by the bottle. The wine and beer list, the signature cocktails and menu items change with the seasons in order to take advantage of seasonal favorites.
I had a luncheon get together for a Dear Aunts Birthday ! She turned 82 an all her nieces made a special day for her during a trying time she is having. Turned out great all staff could not have been nicer! She was elated An a great time was had by all! Thank You Market Tavern!
We have been to Market Tavern several times and have never been disappointed. We have always ordered the Hummus as an appetizer - it is the best we have Hummus we have had. We dined on Christmas Eve and the restaurant became very busy; however, the service remained outstanding.
Unfortunately... I couldn’t keep my reservation.. the shopping mall where this restaurant is located, has the worse parking in town.. after driving around for 4 times, I tried valet, but the valet was turning people down ... and the restaurant gave my reservation away, because I was late, due to the parking, so maybe I’ll try again later .. when the restaurant isn’t so busy.. oh well
Market Tavern has been our “go-to” place for birthdays & anniversaries. I personally prefer their Sunday brunch items over their dinner menu. A good compromise is going for Sunday lunch, you can order brunch items until 2:30 and everyone else can order from the regular menu. Reserve ahead of time if you can. We’ve found that they will seat us in the back in a more private section when we plan ahead.
I was so excited to come here for Sunday Brunch after enjoying dinner here on numerous occasions. We started out with one of their great bloody mary’s then headed to the table where I got the huevos rancheros. Food was great and service was very efficient! I already plan on coming back next week!
My wife and I visited for a Thanksgiving meal. My wife had a grey goose and grapefruit cocktail. Not much grey goose. I had a Lagunitas IPA. TASTED watered down especially for $9.00. My wife had the Turkey dinner. Turkey was dry. I had the NY strip which had a lot of grizzle. Tab was $122.00 before tip. Expected much more for the value.
The food was great and the service was exceptional. My wife had the chicken pot pie and I had flat iron steak. Both meals were very tasty. We've eaten at Market Tavern many times, never been disappointed. Our server was a wonderfur young lady named Lindsey. We really enjoyed her and will request her next time.
They changed the beet salad to include ricotta cheese and onions. I asked if I could have the beet salad they used to serve with burrata cheese and balsamic vinegar. They were very accommodating!!! It was wonderful. Husband had flank steak and it was fabulous!
This a good restaurant. The food and service is very good. I am Vegan and although the server was great in accommodating my food requests, I wish there were more Vegan options on the menu. I ordered the falafel, but could not eat the bread because it contained butter. The made a lettuce wrap instead, which was good, but I really wanted the bread.
