I go to Maggianos at least monthly. It is one of my favorite places to meet friends or simply to have a good meal with my family.
The very best part of Maggiano's is Eddie. Being greeted by him in his own inimitable way is like coming home. I look forward to his welcome more than any other aspect of Maggiano's.

Normally EXCELLENT food this last time was a little "off". The Crème Brulee was much too eggy which killed a normally excellent dessert and dinner was great on two of the four plates and "average" on the other two. Average is not normal at this restaurant!
I would recommend it because, as I said, average is not normal but it was a bit disappointing on our trip this time. We WILL continue to frequent unless average becomes normal.

Had a great experience all around. Service was excellent and the food was above average. Everything was prepared as described and the wait staff were very attentive. This was our first time dinning here and we will return again. The dinning room was loud but this is to be expected for this large of a room.

I couldn't have wished for a better meal, time, and service. My husband and I were treating our Pastor and his wife for a thank you/pastor appreciation lunch. He and his wife are "foodies" and they enjoyed your restaurant to the fullest. The food was on point. The service was excellent. The environment was nice. It just made their day and it made ours. We appreciate the way you take time to cook your food and make it in such an authentic way.

The food was ok, nothing extraordinary. Our server was courteous and prompt however the hostess was rude and snobby. Our take-home meal turned out to be different than the one we ordered which was disappointing and an inconvenience.

Maggiano's has become our #1 fine dining experience. It starts with the exceptional care and handling we receive from the host Eddie Ortiz, to our waitress who took very good care of us. I had Momma's Lasagna and my wife had the ravioli. We both had a chopped salad and finished with a piece of the specialty cake. Everything was well prepared and delicious. We are so happy that we found Maggiano's and I recommend it to all of my friends.

Maggiano's is one of our favorite restaurants and provides a great meal at outstanding value. The San Antonio location is by far the best we have been to. Eddie, the maitre d' and the wait staff always ensure a great dining experience.
