Dined at Maggiano's after seeing "South Pacific" at the Walnut Street Theatre. As usual, we had a great meal. And, it's very convenient (across the street) to the Jefferson Station just to hop on the Regional Rail homeward bound.
Wonderful show, wonderful dinner and wonderful evening!!!

Our waiter was seemingly completely disinterested, not paying attention and it was early, they were not busy yet. He and a group of other servers were joking, using I-phones, etc. The food was good but not great with the exception of the bruchetta sampler appetizer which was excellent. Cudos however, to the visiting manager who came over to our table and we had a very nice conversation with him when first seated. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, but the wait staff basically caused this poor review.

Food was good if not great. Nice range of options with some lower fat alternatives. Service very efficient and pleasant. Skip the lackluster Italian bread and lemon cookies. I had the lower fat version of fettuccine Alfredo which was fine. Casual pleasant ambiance that can get noisy when busy. Great location near Reading Market.

Absolutely outstanding food, service and overall experience. It was the first time for several of my family members and they/we were all BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the food and Maggiano staff...We will definitely dine here again....just one suggestion, give a little more on the "Family Style" dessert

Multiple experiences with Maggiano's in the past at their two Chicago locations. This is a pale comparison. The sauce was incorrect for my dish, and overall very bland. It was still adequate, just wrong sauce. Had their been any timely follow-up by the waiter, I may have sent it back to be corrected.
I will continue to go to Maggiano's in Chicago, but not in Philadelphia.

Our waiter was Graham and he was great. One person in our party had food restrictions and he brought the chef out to discuss options with her. The recommendation worked perfectly and she was thrilled with her dish. For two of our party it was their first time eating at Maggiano's and they loved it. Thank you!

We all completely enjoyed our food, drinks were great, the chopped salad was excellent. We did family style for that, but each ordered individual entrees....I liked the lite fare for chicken Marsala. A few of us had that.....the carrot cake was sooooo good, but so filling......good to share......we will go back soon.....

Large servings of poor food. I had Gnocchi w/ Italian sausage. Gnocchi was pasty, and sausage was sparse. My wife had the Famous Rigatoni D. The marsala cream sauce was thin and runny . Each serving was more than enough for two people. We could not eat all of it, even if it was made more appetizing.

Magiano's never disappoints. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time for a Saturday evening. (about 15 minutes wait in center city) Our server was very polite & attentive. I had the Salmon - it was excellent!

I have been to Maggiano's every chance we get. Ever time the service and food has been excellent. The servers we had did a great job to make you feel welcome. Jill and Danielle were very helpful in helping us order a wine. Great choice they made. Will return again and again.

Very busy restaurant, make sure you make reservations. The food is really good and the wait staff is very attentive and hard working. I ordered food specially prepared and even though the restaurant was very busy the kitchen got it all right.
