This was my second time here and I really like Maggiano's. They have so many different food items to order that I get confused to what I want to order but I did order a chef's special (Pumpkin Ravioli) and it was really good but I just wish there was more in the order for the price that it was. I had about 5 or 6 small ravioli's but I will return again. Maybe not for that but I will return.

We were a group of 10 including two children aged 6 and 10. We had a delightful dining experience! FOH staff including the manager and hostesses were very nice and accommodating. Excellent service with two friendly and pleasant servers named Justin and Chris who were both knowledgeable and helpful with menu choices. Food was absolutely delicious!!!

Very noisy and a bit too crowded, but we like the atmosphere and we've always been happy with our food. If they could just make the main dining area a little less crowded, it would be wonderful. I know more people bring in more money, but the space can be extremely crowded. Sometimes I feel like I'm dining with other people because we're so close. The menu is varied which is great. No music this time, I like the Frank Sinatra. I wish people dressed up a little more, but there's nothing Maggianos can do about that. Men wearing hats and people in shorts, t-shirts and sneakers...yuk. All-in-all we'll keep going. We had our mom's 75th birthday there, our daughter's engagement and we go for special occasions, the most recent being our anniversary.

We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. Recently, each of the 4 of us ordered something different and were all most pleased with our meals. One person in our party had never been to Maggiano's before and said it was the best meal he's had. We love Maggiano's!

We ate dinner here prior to the theater. I must admit that we were a little worried that we would be rushed. Not in the least. We lingered for a bit over cocktails, ordered and appetizer and then dinner. The food was wonderful and the service was fabulous. Every one of the wait staff was personable and attentive. My only negative is the noise level - very loud.

We have eaten at this location previously but on this visit we were very dissapointed with both the service and food quality.
The food was served basically luke warm in temperature even though it wasn't busy. There's nothing less appetizing than luke warm pasta as far as taste and texture.
Our server was also very slow and not very attentive as we had to ask for basic things like enough menus for our party, bread & butter and basic "check-ins" about our food quality.
we couldn't believe that the dessert menu didn't include an Italian pastry "staple" Cannoli's and when we asked the server informed us that "corporate" decides the items and because they don;t sell well in other market locations they are not a regular feature on the menu! Corporate should re-evaluate these type of decisions and at least offer items such as this in markets where they are a staple on every other chain and independent Italian eatery in Boston.

We've enjoyed dinner here several times, either birthday celebrations or before a show. The food is always good, with specials changed according to the season. The Pumpkin Ravioli was delicious! Our waitress, KellyAnn, was very knowledgeable about the menu and wines, gave us great service with a smile. We shall return.

Service was great! Food was delicious! Definitely has become our go to spot for pre-theatre dinner. Only complaint that put a damper on the evening was the constant conversations between some of the service team at the computer terminal by our table. We don't really want to hear about your party and date life :)

Last time I went there 15 years ago it was great. This time, I ordered balsamic glazed salmon with asparagus and the salmon, which had no glaze whatsoever, was like cardboard - obviously previously frozen, tasteless, and tough in texture. The asparagus were only half cooked so I sent the whole thing back and they redid it, this time the salmon was of better quality and had glaze on it but nothing special. I tried both my husband's (veal scallopini) and my daughter's (eggplant parm) dishes and they were a little above meh. Side dish was plain spaghetti - mine was hard in some places and had grated parm and my husband's didn't - which led me to believe that it came off someone else's plate who didn't eat it. Not worth the trip in Boston.

We went for our wedding anniversary, but we also go to Maggiano's for no other reason than to enjoy our favorite Italian dishes. It's our very favorite restaurant for Italian dining and we're both Italian so it must be good!

Service was very good. The food not so much. All three meals came out lukewarm. My meal was average, my daughter didn't like her meal at all. The manager did come over to apologize and they did credit her meal. We were disappointed with the food, but again service was excellent.

I've been to Maggiano's before and loved the food served family style. This time we ordered from the menu and found Chef Mann's Country-Style Pasta to be very salty; my caprese salad was overpowered by MANY strong purple onions; the mussels were served in a white bean broth that was not very appetizing; and the Peach Moscato Honey Lemon Margaritas tasted like cough medicine! (I bought a pitcher of the margaritas and even when adding soda water to dilute the sugary syrup-like taste, it was still horrible.)
I'd go back, as it's a great restaurant close to the Theater District in Boston, but I'd stick to the family style menu and I'd AVOID the peach margaritas at all costs!

We love Maggiano's! The food tastes wonderful and the service is always friendly and efficient. My daughter has a food allergy and the waiter went out of his way to ask for details. Then, the chef came to our table to be sure he had all the information and to assure us that her food would be safe. Lovely people!

Quite expensive, but everything we ate and drank was very good and the service was attentive and helpful with advice when needed. Popular and busy, so I would strongly recommend booking in advance, either by 'phone or via their website.
